More than just an amazing theme, Lauren and Wes gave us “moment junkies” ALLLL the beautiful moments. Wes is the most jolly of fellas, laughing often, and Lauren’s excitement was palpable. Being a friend and coworker, Lauren met me at the door with the biggest smile on her face. (I shed a few tears at that wedding. Lauren is precious to me.)

The decor was ON POINT. Lauren’s parents own Ross Farm Greenhouses in Asheville and drove a huge box truck FULL of plants to Russell, Kentucky to decorate the church and venue.

This was truly a family affair. Wes’ parents own the reception venue. Lauren and Wes were married in Lauren’s grandma’s church. Wes’ brother-in-law officiated the wedding and his sister sang some gorgeous songs at the ceremony.

And can we just take a second to give a shout out to Russell High’s Marching Band?????!!!!! During the ceremony, right at the kiss, they busted through the lobby doors playing “Sweet Caroline,” surprising the guests. It was such a fun and celebratory moment and truly a highlight of the whole day for the guests.
