Look right to left to pause your music, roll them clockwise to increase the volume. NTT DoCoMo, the company who created the new technology, doesn't have plans yet to market or sell them, but if this catches on we could soon see some pretty crazy eye moving in public.

They work by sensing tiny changes in electric charge; apparently the cornea in our eyes has a positive charge, and changes in charge can be detected as far away as your ears.

I'm sure there will be a way to distinguish actual commands, because if not, there would be a lot of eye movement done to correct inadvertent commands...

These are physically distinct discs made of plastic that have music data encoded into them. Before the advent of MP3 players, CDs were an extremely popular form of music storage media. You can still buy CDs nowadays. Each CD has a collection of song titles and content which you buy and which will then belong to you. A CD can be played over and over again as you like. Provided the plastic disc does not get scratched, melted or even broken, you can expect your CD to last you for as long as it lives (or you live.)

In the same manner as the iRiver B30 and the iAudio E2, Newsmy has a new product called the B30. Newsmy’s player, it is nice in a boxy way and should cost next to nothing–certainly but it is clocking in at 139 Pounds. Even though the name suggests itself as the B30, it takes more after the iAudio E2, which also has a prominent hoop. There’s only the 2GB capacity but it does play lossless audio formats.

"..the Samsung S3 performs fantastically as an MP3 player with plenty of format support and the hardware to please the audiophiles. No matter what choice of headphones you use, I can imagine you will not be disappointed with the sound quality of this unit.

The system overall is easy to use and despite the weirdness of the touch sensitive surface, ... it just works...

Overall, I would say that this player is a perfect light weight alternative to many similar products on the market such as the iPod and Creative offerings. To top it off, it’s very competitively priced too!"

Everybody HAS to come out with their own mp3 player. Now that they are REALLY that great, should be up to the consumer... Even so, PriceCheater has this 4 GB model, with a supposedly great sound. I would wait for some reviews. What I can guess, is that a player that incorporates all the bells and whistles like book reader, games, photo album, fm recorder, mp4 player, etc, makes for a player that does all and nothing well.

Or maybe it is that great... nahh...
Have you ever wanted to listen to musing without earphones and while underwater?

The Finis SwiMP3 1G allows you to do just that. Instead of earphones, this underwater MP3 player from US-based company Finis uses bone conduction speakers to deliver music directly into the inner ear. The result is clear audio, of a quality similar to that above ground.

Each of the two speakers is placed flush against your head, just over your temple bone and in front of the ear. There is a clip to attach each speaker to your goggle strap.

The twin speakers are lightweight - I hardly felt their presence - and did not impede movement in any way. Also the speakers did not move or drop off at any time during my hour-long swim. These speakers work above water, too - enabling you to continue listening uninterrupted even when taking breathers - but the sound is much clearer and louder when your ears are submerged.

This swimming companion fares well in terms of design and audio quality, but could do with better controls. The marine jukebox only has four buttons and an indicator light on one of its speakers. All the basic functions of the player are achieved by pressing one or more of the buttons, and the light indicates everything from shuffle mode to low battery.

The SwiMP3 is available at AxtroSports at the promotional price of $228 (usual price: $249), excluding GST, until Sunday.

Media format MP3 / WMA
Internal Memory: 1GB

From Coca-Cola, we can expect this type of expensive product: A dancing bear with an internal mp3 player.

The important thing to know is what you want from your car audio system. If you are more interested in hooking up your MP3 player to your car stereo more easily then you can expect to pay less than if you are looking for a more sophisticated car stereo that stores your MP3 files for you.

Prices range from under £60 to several hundred pounds, especially if you are interested in DVD playing capabilities as well. But, as mentioned above, it is important to know what you are looking for.
