It was really special for me to have everyone here in my hometown for the Red Hat Summit this week. We’ve had an office here in Atlanta since we acquired JBoss in 2006, but we’ve never had the opportunity to host the conference. One of the best parts was being able to hear some great talks from some of my favorite Southeastern clients. Otmane Benali and Praveen Siddu from Swift talked about how they’ve adopted our Advanced Cluster Security product to improve their security posture for Kubernetes environments. One of the most interesting aspects for me was a dashboard that they built for their developers which shows them the outstanding CVEs for their running containers and their current adherence to policy. A lot of the organizations I work with mandate quick vulnerability remediation, but Swift has made it easy for developers to control compliance through observability. Robert Goce from Carnival Cruise Line talked about the work they’ve done to implement the OpenShift Container Platform on the cruise ships. Cruise lines were actually relatively early adopters of Kubernetes at sea and my team has done a lot of work over the last ten years to help companies like Carnival adopt a container platform that is resilient in an environment with intermittent connectivity to the cloud. Running ArgoCD over a satellite connection is no joke. Vidheer Gadikota from Delta Air Lines and Charro Gruver from Red Hat talked about how Delta has implemented a container-based developer platform with Red Hat Dev Spaces. Delta has been developing an agent-based workflow with us which allows their developers to run coding assistants directly in the cloud environments. With this, they can offload coding and testing from their laptops to the cloud as they work with the assistants. It also enables the code assistants to spin up containers for test workflows in the development environment. During the OpenShift Product Spotlight, Ken Finnerty from UPS talked about the partnership that they’ve had with Red Hat and how they’ve been able to achieve massive scale by adopting a platform mentality. The focus on platform engineering was something that kept coming up through all the conversations that I had this week. I thought Vidheer summed up the lessons that I heard in all of these talks well with the following points: 1) Meet Developers Where They Are 2) Make Security the Default, Not the Obstacle 3) Gamify Adoption, Don’t Mandate It 4) Invest in the Platform, Not Just the Tool Each of our partners makes a significant investment as they adopt the Red Hat Platform. Whether it’s meeting the stringent security requirements of a financial institution or the environmental challenges of hosting containers on the high seas, we’re proud that we’ve been on the voyage with you. This week was a fantastic celebration of the work our Southeast customers and teams have done together.

Back to back space showcase! NASA on the main Red Hat Summit stage today with Chris Wright talking about their migration of 4,000 VMs to OpenShift Virtualization. Several years of work being showcased here by the team of dedicated admins and architects from MSFC. Tony James, Daniel Davy, and I spent many days in Huntsville with BBQ and technical sessions to make it happen.

Another #redhatsummit2026 in the books! It’s been an exciting week, seeing our customers, catching up with old friends, and making some news ones. ATL for the win.

I am honored to be named the 2026 Club Sports President of the Year at East Carolina University. Serving as the president of Women’s Club Soccer has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. I’ve had the opportunity to lead a dedicated group of athletes while helping grow and strengthen our program both on and off the field. This recognition reflects the commitment and effort of the entire team, and I’m grateful to be part of such a driven group.

I’m incredibly honored to have received the Exceptional Manager Award. Out of 3k+ managers and nearly 350 nominations, being selected as one of 10 is pretty unbelievable. It means even more knowing it came from my team. It’s been a whirlwind building this team together—thank you all for the nomination, and thank you to my husband for his support and making this trip so fun.
