I spent a good hour last night browsing SpY’s website drooling over the brilliant photographs and concepts shot in various urban settings, including New York City. Here are a few of my favorites.

A couple burnt out lights on the sign of Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NYC produced this bit of unintended comedy.

Coolio (remember him?) went from gangsta’s paradise to the chef’s kitchen. He’s got a brand new cookbook “Cookin’ with Coolio: 5 Star Meals at a 1 Star Price” that aims to introduce a new cuisine, what he calls “Ghetto Cuisine.”

Apropos a similar topic yesterday during lunch, I’m reminded of this clip of an Italian singer performing a song that is meant to mimic how English spoken by Americans sound like to foreigners.

Silicon Alley Insider collected a sample of 15 questions that have been asked by Google recruiters in interviews. And you thought “List your biggest weakness” was a tough interview question.

• How many golf balls can fit in a school bus?
• How many times a day does a clock’s hands overlap?
• You are shrunk to the height of a nickel and your mass is proportionally reduced so as to maintain your original density. You are then thrown into an empty glass blender. The blades will start moving in 60 seconds. What do you do?
