France based company RB3D is working along with French Directorate General of Armaments(DGA),ESME Sudria and CES LIST to develop a Robotic Hercule Exoskeleton.

What exactly is Robotic Hercule Exoskeleton ?

As you can see from the image, it just looks like a skeleton which support human legs providing more strength and power to perform tasks in easy way. In short, its a Robot which helps humans to lift heavy weights and walk long distance without any pain.

Now how long we can walk ?

Hercule ExoSkeleton is powered with electricity. Juice in this will last for 20kms (12.5 miles). Its more than enough for what require per day :). There is no surprise if these products are developed to run with solar energy.

How about limit of weights we can lift ?

Currently, we can lift 100 kg (220lbs). If you are cleaning your garage, then this will really help you. What do you say :).

How secure is it ?
No sure, it all depends on final Hercule which gets released in market after undergoing various real time scenarios tests.

Touch screen on smartphones and Tablet has totally changed the way we use our gadgets. If you hand over a toy phone to a kid, he tries to operate it sliding his finger on the display. We are totally used to touch screen now.

How about visually impaired ? Can they text using touch screen ?

A team from Georgia Tech, led by Post Doctorate Fellow Mario Romero (School of Interactive Computing) has designed BrailleTouch for touchscreen mobile devices. The prototype app allows visually impaired people to easily type and opens the door for everyone to text or type without looking at the screen.

I do remember people who type while walking on the road or while driving. They may think Braille is a good idea to use but better not says this video. Check this out..

Based on iWatch, designer Antonio DeRosa has come up with a new design and upgraded version of iWatch. As successor, its named as iWatch2. As you know iWatch has not hit the market yet. So, this concept design is just a prototype showing the richness of Apple devices as your daily wearing gadget.

As discussed in earlier post, "iWatch with Siri from Apple may hit market soon" many people really look forward for this device with Siri integrated into it. Compare to iWatch, iWatch2 looks great and bit wide.

This visionary concept features 32GB memory,WiFi, Bluetooth connections to iPad/iPhone/iTouch device,iCloud integrated,front camera,LCD projects and Siri. Hope Apple considers this design and produce these type of products to their customers. As always fan of Apple products, I will be the first one to buy this gadget if it is available in market. A team at General Robotics has developed Nano Quadrotors. These looks like small robotic creatures with 4 fans rotating at each end of the corner providing its push to fly.

Yes,according to Hypebeast, Swedish denim manufacturer Nudie Jeans and the fashion retailer Barney's have teamed up to make 500 pairs of jeans using this recycled denim.

Many designers are working on futuristic smartphones. Keeping Nano Technology in mind, designer Ilshat Garipov has come up with smartphone design which looks just like a pocket booklet.

Since this is a concept design, he has made few assumptions which are realistic. As seen in the pictures, the width of each screen in this booklet which looks like a thin cardboard is 7mm think or less than that.There will be no storage on board. Everything is accessed from cloud using latest cloud technology. Coming to the battery, this uses solar cells as fuel. You can spread it like a map if required.

With these reductions, we may make our devices even thinner. Once we get full fledged internet services (3G/4G or 10G :)) , advanced Cloud technology and solar cells, this concept design can surely become real.
What do you say ?

Overall design is quite different from available smartphones. Still it looks amazing when we expand.

Exactly 50 years back, smartphones were not real but imaginative. Currently a lot of hardware is wasted when we use separate devices, as there is often a lot of “repeat” of data stored and features. For example if I have my songs on my music player, why do I have to block the same amount of storage on my laptop? Similarly, if I have a processor sitting in my tablet, why can it not also run/assist my laptop? If I have a fully functional camera with its own memory and image processing power, why do I need to have it repeated in my laptop?

Designer Rochus Jacob has come up with an amazing idea of integrating Health assistant in mobile phone. If you think I am talking about an app, then you are totally wrong.

Health Assistant device is a cell-phone like display device which provides patients access to their health information. Apart from health information it synchronises their medical data with an external server where their doctors can view and monitor patients progress. This makes doctors more easy to help their patients to recover soon from illness or they can easily detect or predict any abnormal conditions in patients body.

You may be wondering how this displays your health related information. Check image below. You just need to attach few sensors and transmitters to your body before you are getting dressed. Once its in on your body it just starts the work and update you accordingly.

Imagine if robots replaces doctors in future. They can keep track your health always and provide your health suggestions. I am sure this dream may come true few decades later. But for now, Health Assistant is an amazing and innovative idea which will bridge the gap between the doctors and patients.

As you can see in the pictures, health assistance has dual layers. Outer layer looks and acts just a like a smart phone with an e-ink touch display to operate the phone. The next layer will be visible when you just slide and open the outer layer to check your medical data.

Few months back, we read about "Zoom in outside world through car window : Window to the World TOYOTA". Now Samsung unveils the smartest window to your house.

Many of us spend time looking outside windows. To keep you update on weather,time, social networking or any other updates, this smartest window is designed.

If you see this snap, lady Ashley Esqueda from Mobile Nations says "Quite frankly,I feel like I am in Minority Report that's really awesome".

So soon we are going to live in a house with smart window which you can browse through web while watching out. Worrying if somebody from outside can guess what you are doing ? Moving one more step ahead in ultra thin tablets, Toshiba has confirmed launching its world thinnest, slimmest and lightest tablet Excite X10 in 2012.

With just 7.7mm think and 535grams,Exicite X10 has the dual core Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 processor,Android OS and 1GB RAM. Also, the 10.1 inch 1280x800 screen is made from scratch resistant Gorilla glass, with anti-smudge coating and IPS technology.

Being slimmest, Excite 10 doest compromise with respect to features. Few features include Front and rear cameras with 2MP and 5MP resolution respectively for capturing full HD 1920x1080 videos,micro USB slot, micro HDMI slot,micro SD slots,bluetooth and WiFi.

Toshiba is planning to lauch date in Q1 in US with a price tag of $529 for 16GB and $599 for $32GB. This price is almost eaqual to Apple iPad 2 which is quite heaver than Excite 10.

Do we really need slimmest and thinnest tables ? Are they safe ?

Yes we do, it easy and comfort to carry around. Coming to the safety, paying a fat price for these ultra thin gadgets, one expects that their gadget should be more durable. Of course, with current scenario, no manufacturer provide warranty or guarantee for physical damage. Instead, they should use material which can with stand more shock when they are accidentally dropped from a height of 10 or 15 foot.

So overall, buying a thin tablet is fine but need to buy a good G-Form case for it.

I feel transparent iPhone 5 is sexy and looking great. It will be amazing gadget to own. Only problem I see in this design is the monochrome icons. Conventional app icons of iPhone are colourful.

Researchers at Wageningen University and the Utrecht School of the Arts designed the game to make farm life more stimulating for swine.
