Casting Call for Music Video – August 28th
Open casting call for a group of multicultural female models to be a part of a photo and video shoot for a professional music video that will take place on August 28th. We need a range of skin tones and models participating should anticipate on having their belly, side, shoulder, neck, and legs videoed and photographed. Your face will not be photographed. This shoot is a non-nude shoot, however will be provocative in nature, therefore, the we will have a closed-set. This shoot is trade-fair. Casting Call for Short Film Music Video – September 10-12
Open casting call for talented actors in the Salt Lake City area to be a part of a short film / music video. We are in need of a lead female actress, athletic, between 19-26 with light hair color. We are also in need of extras and stand-ins. The script calls for little to non-memorization, however, after chosen will have a run-through before shooting. This is a great opportunity for an upcoming female actor to get a beautiful looking work in her portfolio. This project is trade-fair. Shooting will be on September 10, 11, and possibly 12. Booty Hits April Gallery Stroll

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Inspired by the Chicago booty house music movement, visual and musical artists // (Jonathan Higley) and Nolens Volens (Andrew Glassett) have been examining sexuality and shifting gender roles dependent upon expanding technology. The duo plan on presenting their findings through multiple mediums including sculpture, photography, video, and sound during April’s Gallery Stroll. “It’s an exploration into the changing cultural climate and how technology has a hold on the line between information and exploitation,” the artists say. “We hope to showcase the fragmentation of modern sexuality through media excess and its dehumanization of the female form. Everything you see in the exhibit is content sampled from women who have either photographed or video taped themselves.”

Additionally, the art show will be accompanied by tracks from Nolens Volens and //’s forthcoming booty house throwback album Data/Booty, to be released on cassette and mssvmusic.com on May 1st at Urban Lounge.

The exhibit will take place at Nobrow Coffee & Tea Company, located at 315 East 300 South in Salt Lake City on April 16th.
