Anyone have an online shop/ecommerce site that they love with a rad management system? (Yes, I might have some fun news to announce soon. That is if I figure all this out.) I would love to get any recommendations. I want to research all my options: bigcartel, shopify, mycommerce, etc, etc.

Benjamin Hubert killed it with his Heavy Lights. Cast heavy concrete is used to conduct its opposite: light. Brilliant and beautiful.
I was intrigued by his Diamond Chair as well. Bright colors, mixed textures and materials, intersecting lines... balanced.

I rarely share my own work on MStetson, but this project seemed a little more fitting. It was an extra fun job because of the clients Magni Design, the interiors (obviously!), the art in the interiors, and the collaboration with Robert over at NienStudios. James Magni, Colin Dusenbury and the whole team are so talented. Make sure to check out Magni Design and the Magni Home Collection. Some of their spaces or furnishings may look familiar from Architectural Digest's Discoveries by Designers and Top 100 designers.

Anyway, just a glimpse into my freelance world! I love it when my love for interior design collides with my graphic design.

What a transformation from a once car dealership to a now architecture, planning and interior design headquarters. Johnson Fain made some serious improvements, but utilized so much of the existing structure's framework. This must have been quite an undertaking.

I tend to be drawn to graphic patterns and bold colors, but the soft, delicate hand-painted peonies on MISHA's handmade wallpaper is what I'm craving right now. Hand-painted silk... please! Wallpaper, bedside tables or room dividers/screens.

I always like the mixture of old and new. Graye's End Barn by Stonely Pelsinski Architecture Neukomm (SPaN) is a great example. They write, "How do you make a barn when it is not a barn? In this case the structure in question was to serve as an office/guest house/pool house, in addition to its capacity as a utility building. The new building was to be sited and massed to replace an existing barn which had fallen into structural disrepair. Thus the new building was to negotiate the requirements of modern domestic living with the inherited morphology of a traditional open air barn." All of the lines are so beautiful.

The hubby and I are thinking of moving; lease out our condo and get a little (or a lot) closer to my work. Apartment hunting is fun, well at least right now it is. We haven't done it in so long that I get excited to check out new spaces and dream of how I would transform them. Our front-runner has turquoise bathroom tile. Dated? Perhaps. But I am thinking how great it would be to wallpaper it! (Shhhh don't tell the landlord.) These are what I have come up with...
