Sweet vids of the Saddle on Pass Mountain Trail! Made my palms sweat just watching. I'll have to hit it before it gets too warm in the season. Reminds me of the Poison Spider Mesa - Portal Trail down the face of the cliff above the CO River near Moab. Thanks for posting!

Senior citizens... Ha! So true. I spent a year out there exploring primitive singletrack before they paved it all.

I still get out there once in a while, and I'll teach my kids to ride out there in a couple of years... but I miss the good old days in the San Tans...

Armor? What's armor?

I'd never really thought about armor until a couple of years ago when I rode Goat Camp with an MTBR group. Once we got to the beginning of the mayhem, everyone armored up...except me. The sharpness of the rocks and teh relentless descent made me think...armor would be nice...

Down Kiwanis, down Telegraph Pass, down Alta, down west National... I'm warming up to the idea of a little padding when I fall, not if I fall, but when I fall.

Until then, left shin and left elbow will have to do.
