This full moon is in Scorpio and I wanted to talk about it because there’s a lot of emotional stuff going on here.  2012 in general is a year of great changes, and with Mars going direct last month we’re ready to charge forward with the changes that have been brewing.

Then in comes the full moon in Scorpio which is showing us our deep seated emotions.  This can be an intense emotional time for many. I know it is for me, and it’s a great time to use this energy to find and release very deep emotional blocks that have been holding us back.

Now… that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be fun.  Emotional work can be hard work.  But since emotions are going to surface anyway, may as well use the energy constructively and take some giant leaps forward in birthing a new and happier you.

So at the beginning of this year I decided to expand from strictly LOA stuff to incorporating spiritual and life guidance, psychic readings and channeling into my LOA work.  Which has allowed me to help a LOT more people which makes them (and me) really happy!

For the past few months I’ve been kicking around where to take this blog and I think I got it!

How about some practical stuff, psychic games and development stuff, Tarot and pendulum lessons and channeled messages?  How about answering some of the common questions people ask me?  How about inspiration and general life guidance?  And how about stuff YOU want to know?

I’m happy to talk about anything you want here, and by sharing everyone benefits!

Sometimes when life is chaotic or you want something really, really bad but it just isn’t forthcoming it’s a good idea to take a step back and completely stop doing what you’re doing to ask for peace.

I know this sounds counter-productive, especially when the pressure is on.  But it is absolutely essential if you want to get out of chaos and back on the road to creating the life you want to live.

For just a moment consider how peace feels.

• Peace is gentle
• Peace is calm
• Peace suspends thought and allows you to just be
• Peace is serene
• Peace calms the mind chatter
• Peace allows for rest
• Peace eases burdens

And finally, peace opens the way for clarity.  And clarity, my friends is a beacon of light, allowing us to see that which was shrouded in the fog of darkness and uncertainty before.  Clarity allows us to calmly and confidently move forward, making good choices and taking action that supports rather than hinders us.

So the next time you find yourself spinning out of control on that crazy carousel of chaos stop fighting it.  Step off and take time out to find peace.  It will transform your life into a gentle ride in the park :)

The Universe

I love these daily “Notes from the Universe.”  If you don’t get them already you really should.  But that’s not what I wanted to write about today.

Today I wanted to let you know that YES, I do send silent “I love you’s” to people all the time.  I’m always silently wishing them well, intending that their dreams come true, and just willing that they have a good day.  I especially do this when I see people who appear to be in distress, angry and even criminal looking.  I figure they need it more than others.

I call it “shining light” and I think if everyone does it the world will be a much better place.

So think about it…. who can you shine a little light on today?

There have been in my life more than a few that I wanted.  Really, really wanted.  Men I thought were “the ONE” and who I would have given everything I had to give in order for it to work out.

Yet here I sit in my mid 40′s without any significant male relationships in my life, and really not sure if I even want any at this point.  So what went wrong?  If Law of Attraction is so great then why couldn’t I find that amazing guy and run away with him forever?

I think it comes down to two things (and this applies to lots of things – not just relationships so listen up).

FIRST – I really have no idea how to have a great relationship.  Didn’t learn it as a kid, didn’t practice through my teen years, didn’t really date much, just went from “hello” to “I do” without all the stuff in between.  In short I never got good at the whole relationship thing because I never really played the game.  That old saying “you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince” is exactly right in this case.  It’s not that most men are terrible or that you have to have tons of bad experiences but only that you have to have tons of experiences – all different kinds of experiences – to become a pro at relationships.  It’s a learning curve, and by staying out of the game well – I never really learned. So how could I expect to get it right?

SECOND – Relationships are one area where it’s very easy to get emotionally attached and really WANT a certain outcome.  How can we not?  Relationships are very much about emotion.  But emotion, while it’s essential for manifesting, can also get in the way of getting what you want.  In my case I became so emotionally attached to “that guy” or “how relationships should be” that I couldn’t be flexible.  I probably missed hundreds of other men who were way better suited to me because I was so emotionally involved in trying to manifest THAT relationship that I couldn’t see anything else.  The situation became tense, frustrating, and I felt like I had to “manifest or else!”  Or else what I don’t know but it became almost an obsession.  Not the way to get what you want folks.

Now, none of this means Law of Attraction failed me.  On the contrary.  It means that “I” wasn’t in the flow.  “I” didn’t understand the dynamics of the situation or what it takes to cultivate great relationships with men.  I didn’t understand what great relationships look or feel like and I was unable to get out of my box.  So the Universe kept bringing me exactly what I was vibing – “not great” relationships with people who didn’t know how to or want to be in them.

By the way, it’s same for everything from relationships to business to health to even great parking spots.  If you don’t take the time to make mistakes, practice and learn how things work and if you are so set on a specific outcome and have to have it “your way” then you’re going to fail too.  Maybe multiple times.

Just something to think about…. I know I am.

As I wrote over on my personal blog, this year will bring major changes both to the world and us as individuals.

I’m no exception to this, and with all the 5′s my numerology chart I’ve probably even experienced more changes than many! So I’m very excited to see what this new year has in store for me.

One big change has already happened, and that’s right here on this website.  If you’ve been here before you know the familiar pinkish/purple swirls have been replaced with this new look, that my services have been expanded and that while I’m still very much the “Manifesting Muse,” I’m also embracing more of the ways I can help you grow and expand.

Cool Stuff!  Very exciting :)

I’ll be writing more here too, and on  many subjects.  I know this blog has been quiet as of late but dang it…. I was running out of things to talk about.  I mean after 5 years of writing on LOA what more can you say?  It’s really not that difficult a concept…. the hard part is the practice and tweaking.

So anyway, glad to take this new direction and even happier to have you come along with me.

I was just complaining really, not specifically asking the Universe for some time off.  But the Universe got the message anyway, and proceeded to rearrange the next few days to give me exactly that.

First my Saturday plans were cancelled because the person I was supposed to work for was sick.  Then my friend (who I was going to spend the afternoon with) was also sick so that left me with an entire day of free time.

Sunday I was supposed to catch up on other random projects but those fell by the wayside so I ended up having a free day there too.

Then my Monday work appointment called to reschedule, clearing that day as well.

So here I am on Tuesday morning, well rested, content, and about to go on my first appointment in 4 days… woo hoo!

See folks… the Universe does answer our requests even if we don’t always spell them out in fancy gold letters on parchment.  Keep on manifesting…. I know I am :)

I thought it would be fun to play a little manifesting game called “12 days of manifesting.”  Here’s how it works.:

Each day you’re going to have a different thing to manifest.  It can appear in any form from an actual object to a picture or anything that you deem a “hit.”  You can start any day between now and the end of December and be sure to post your results in the comments section.

• Day 1 -12 bells – they can be all together or not but the magic number is 12.  Bonus if they’re ringing :)
• Day 2 – 11 holiday treats – eating them is optional but go ahead and indulge if you want to
• Day 3 – 10 delivery trucks – UPS, Post Office, FedEx or anything that might bring holiday packages to your door
• Day 4 – 9 Santas – should be easy this time of year
• Day 5 – 8 trains – Such a traditional part of the holidays for many people.  Oh and 8 cars on the same train doesn’t count.. has to be 8 actual trains
• Day 6 – 7 Christmas trees – here’s the catch – they have to be live, undecorated, and not on a Christmas tree lot
• Day 7 – 6 Wreaths – each on a different door
• Day 8 – 5 Angels – bonus for singing angels
• Day 9 – 4 Reindeer – yes you can really find them virtually anywhere in the world these days
• Day 10 – 3 yule logs – if you don’ t know what these are then google them
• Day 11 – 2 turtle doves – yeah I totally stole that one and any kind of doves will do
• Day 12 – 1 roasted chestnut – yes a real one and you have to smell the aroma and taste it too

This is different for me as I’ve never been a picture taker.  In fact if my daughter wants to look at the “family albums” she knows she better head on over to Grandma’s house because she won’t find much here at all.  But still the desire to have a camera kept nagging at me and so I figured I better get one.

I’d put my request out and had kind of forgotten about it when last week I was working and remembered that there had been a camera in the lost and found a while back at the event I help produce.  I asked my boss about it and sure enough… no one had claimed it.  So I asked and he said yes and … score a new camera for me!

I love it and so far I’ve been taking perfectly ridiculous pictures of lamps and chairs and strange angles of the wall/ceiling.  But hey, in the event I actually take something worth sharing I’ll be sure to post it here!
