First of all we would like to thank all of our fans who recommended that we integrate a way to transfer trip itineraries! With this update, you cannot only transfer trip itineraries between multiple devices but you can also save your itineraries online and load themlater!

Improved UI and places pages

mTrip 2.0 brings a whole new look and feel with its updated UI, however, the most notable changes come to the places pages and directions. The places pages have been completely overhauled to make it easier to get the information you want, such as opening hours, transportation, directions and ratings and reviews left by other travellers.

Directions and the itinerary’s map view have also been revamped to included more details in a simpler to use interface.

Additional itinerary options

Well mTrip 2.0 now offers spaces in the itinerary for lunch and dinner as well as the ability to find restaurants along your route. Moreover, smart order has become even smarter. The exhibit is partitioned into five sections. The sections look at everything from his interest in daily news and celebrities to breaking new ground by representing issues of sexuality and gender and use of pre-existing works.

The Bay East Garden has a 1.2 mile (2km) boardwalk which lines the Marina reserve. It is designed as a series of large tropical leaf shaped gardens with various themes though this is only an interim garden.   There are plans for future development based on a theme of water.

The mountain in the Cloud Forest

The Bay South Garden is the largest and most complete section of the garden. It features two conservatories: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest.  Both conservatories are designed to be energy efficient showcasing sustainable building technologies, however each conservatory showcases a different landscape.

The Flower Dome replicates a cool dry desert climate, similar to that of California and South Africa while the Cloud Forest houses a tropical highland environment and has the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

Also located in the Bay South Garden is Supertree grove.  These tree like structures stand up to 165 feet (50m tall) and have a “living skin” created out of plants. Several of the trees also have solar panels to power the lighting for the trees.  You can also enjoy a stroll on the Aerial Walkway that links these giant trees together. At night you can catch the OCBC Garden Rhapsody show where the Supertrees light up to music.

Lastly, catch a ride on the Garden Cruiser Trail tram. It offers a 20 minute tour around the Bay South Garden as well as great views of the conservatories, themed gardens and dragonfly lake.

The exterior design of the hotel is breath taking. Drawing inspiration from the past, present and future of city, the façade of the Topazz is cylindrical with oval windows staggered at different levels to align with the varying heights of the neighboring buildings. At night the windows glow an amber or topaz color on a dark backsplash giving the hotel a unique appearance.

The interior of the Topazz emphasizes natural tones using ecological furnishings and natural materials. Much of the interior is decorated with dark wooden paneling and cream textures giving it a luxurious edge.

Although the design of the hotel is special, the hotel was also designed with the environment in mind. The hotel has a CO2 savings of nearly 50%. This is achieved by using new technologies such as a closed heating circuit, LED lighting and triple paned glass.

The natural and green initiative does not end with the hotel itself. They have been included in the day to day operations of the hotel such as the salon using organic products and serving a range of eco-friendly wine.
