<description>Hi, I read your article on stammering. I am playing the character of Felix Humble in the play HUMBLE BOY and am conducting some research into the area. I went through a period of stammering myself in 99/2000 when I worked in a particularly stressful production job with a book publisher in London. Is the condition linked to stress do you think and why did it occur only with consonants? I recall the feeling of trying to form words and the frustration it caused. It seemed to stay for about 6 mths and just as quickly disappeared. Are there any books you can recommend on the subject?

thks

					<description>Hi Michael
Well done for describing that 'creeping death' feeling so well. I think all recovering stutterers can identify with that.
Great blog, keep up the good work.
Cheers
