Goodbye UNITY

I’ve had the difficult decision to make this week to step down from the Design Team at Unity Stamp Co. I’ve been struggling with this decision for a few months now and I think work and now church work has taken up a lot of my time. I also need to consider family.

It’s been a wonderful journey scrapping for Unity. I think I’ve never stamped so much on my layouts before! I just want to say a big THANK YOU to Angela and all the girls at Unity for their love. And I will still be stamping, you can be sure of that!

New stamps and a new challenge!

I’ve got a layout to share today featuring the new stampin’ store kit from Unity Stamp Co. Woohooo!!! Don’t you just love it that Unity comes out with all these awesome new stamps and they’re great for both cards and layouts.

I love this month’s store kit… so whimsical and magical. It’s all about fairytales. And the layout I created is also for a challenge I’m hosting over at Made with Love. Upload your creations for this challenge to the gallery and I will have a little RAK waiting for you. (Sorry this little challenge is for Singapore scrappers only.)

All the stamped images are from the stampin’ store kit and I embossed them as well. Love that fairy. Well, that’s all for today. Have a great weekend everyone!!

I missed last weeks’ reveal of the new Kit of the Month. Have you checked it out???

Isn’t it totally WOW!??!?! I love the typewriter and the crossword. I definitely see them making their way onto my layouts.

Anyways, I created a layout today… a really fun one (in my opinion at least ) using one of my favourite Unity stamps. It’s from the Scrapbook/Collage Collection {… etcetera }. This layout is inspired by sketch #34 over at Inspired Blueprints.

I’ve been wanting to use the Cosmo Cricket Earth Love papers and this was the perfect layout.

I also added lots of chipboard critters and flowers and this lovely Unity stamp…

It’s a perfect little stamp for journalling. Well, I hope you like what I have to share and you’re enjoying all the rest of the eye candy by the awesomely talented Unity gals (their posts will all be up by 10am CST). I was asked by lovely Nicole to guest design for Mission To Create. I love the concept behind the challenges… you need to go over and check it out!! Here is the layout I created… I used Unity Stamp Co.’s Scrapbook/Collage Collection {… etcetera } for this layout, it fit the theme perfectly.

Family Moments

I love family moments. They don’t have to be doing anything fancy but it’s the people you’re with that matter the most.

Today’s showcase is Unity’s Scrapbooking/Collage Collection for Oct’09. The kit comes with a mix of patterned papers from Pink Paislee, Cosmo Cricket and Jenni Bowlin as well as a full sheet of red rubber. Gorgeous!

The layout I did is inspired by Sketch #33 over at Inspired Blueprints. They’re celebrating their first birthday this month with sketches and prizes galore!

I love these word-fettis from Making Memories. So fun and versatile!

But the highlight has GOT to be this Unity Date stamp. It’s so versatile, you could circle any date on it.

This month’s new Stampin Store Kit is amazing! Lots of new images – perfect for scrapping or card-making.

I used the cute coffee cups image for my layout. It’s perfect because we just bought a Nespresso coffee machine and we’ve been on a caffeine high ever since! LOL! Here’s my layout….

New October Kit of the Month

It’s October… doesn’t time just creep up on us without us knowing! There’s a new Kit of the Month by Unity Stamp Co. and it’s totally cute (I’m sure you know if you’ve been following the sneaks over the last week).

Here’s a layout I created using that adorable ‘house’ stamp as well as papers from Crate Paper Season Collection. I sooooo { heart } this collection – so fun and quirky.

I glimmer misted the cardstock base before putting any paper on.

The title was embossed with American Craft Zing! in Chestnut…. and the word ‘LOVE’, I applied glossy accent.

That cute ‘house’ image is from Unity’s KOM and I colored it in with Copic markers.
