Fabio was awarded "Best in Show"! His Portfolio Show, the final step before graduation, was today. He and the other students in his class, along with some other departments at the school, put on a show to display their work for potential employers. In addition to building his own website, he had to come up with packaging material to market himself. It was quite an adventure when the printing

Ah, there are pretty white blooms on the tree outside my kitchen window. The sun comes up on that side in the morning and makes the white petals shine so brightly, you can hardly look at it. But just a glimpse of that beautiful scene remains with me throughout the day. This time of year is so nice, we start leaving windows open all day and letting the breeze catch the long white curtains.

Those poor little Chinese cheerleaders! They had to stomp and clap nonstop for hours! At one point they were just kind of swaying back and forth, I guess that was their lunch break. I heard on NPR today that the Chinese crowd has been instructed to be polite and to only wear certain things. Interesting.
