南米ベネズエラの首都で熱く活動する
激しくラウドなオルタナティブメタルバンド、
SIFTING (シフティング)。メンバーは、Ruben Limas (drums)
Luis Farias (Lead guitar). Victor Ladines (bass)
Eduardo Gil (vocals/guitar)の４人組。

2011年には地元ベネズエラで絶大な人気を誇るメタルコアバンド、
「Bullet For My Valentine」のコンサートのオープニングアクトに
抜擢され、さらに今年、2013年は米テキサスで開催された大イベント
「Heart of Texas Rockfest」に、ラテンアメリカからただひとつの
メタルバンドとして念願の出場を果たしました。

彼らの代表曲は今回の試聴曲になっている、ALL THE HATED 嫌われ
てるもの全部。2012年にリリースされた彼らのデビュー曲です。すでに
発売中です。この曲はコンピレーションアルバム「RockBand Network」に
も収録されていたり、「RockBand Blitz」というゲームにも収録されて
います。ジャケットをデザインしたのは、レゴを使ったデザインで有名な
ロサンジェルスの Nathan Sawaya さん。

まあ、どうでもいいんだけど。

子守唄みたいな、寝言みたいなポップスでキモチ良いんだ
けれども、歌ってる女性のビジュアルがどうやら良ろしくない。

見かけと歌を比べてみた場合、時としてバランスが悪いケース
があって、とくに自主制作系とかインディーレーベルの場合に
悪いときが多いような気がします。どうでしょうか？

見かけと歌のバランスの悪さが生まれたときって、おそらく1980
年代にミュージックビデオつーうもんが世の中にでてきた頃
じゃないでしょうか。ミュージックビデオが登場した時期に同じ
ようにインディーレーベルが発生したんとちゃいますやろか。

まあ、どうでもいいんだけどネ。

ドイツのインディーバンド、me で活動していた mona steinwidder の初のソロアルバム。ピアノを中心とした室内楽的アプローチのサウンドに、儚さとあどけなさの残る彼女の歌声が生み出す、私小説のような世界観に心奪われること請け合い。ふっと現れてふっと消えて行く、日常のささやかな瞬間にそっと差し込んでみたい１枚。

音にいざなわれ、知らぬ間に連れて行かれた。
そこは石造りの迷宮。煌めく蝋燭の灯りや、ネオンサイン、レース、真鍮のドアノブ。

音の粒が、姿を変え、形を変え、一粒一粒、楽しげに飛び跳ねて、踊っています。
出口かと思って扉を開けると、そこは中庭。風が吹き、植物が葉を揺らし、空に雲が流れている。
予測をちょっとだけ裏切られたと驚く気持ちもまた心地よいのです。

1982 SHI-SHONEN,Real Fishのメンバーとしてデビュー。その後Fishermen Tit Tot等、バンド活動と平行してソロ活動を続け1997 ピアノとストリングスカルテットによるファーストソロアルバム「OCTAVE」、2007 ピアノと電子音を駆使したセカンドソロアルバム「pieta」リリース。 パリやバルセロナでもライブを行う。その他数多くのCM、映画「食堂かたつむり」「パーマネント野ばら」「白椿」「無問題」「wool 100%」「煙突男と風見鶏女」「水筒少年」「Sirop de Namaquemono」TVアニメ「あまつき」などの音楽を手掛ける他、ピエール・バルー、内田有紀、深田恭子、小泉今日子、YOU、UA、藤原ヒロシらへの楽曲提供やレコーディング参加、山下久美子のライブサポートなど幅広く活動している。

ファンキーではあるがファンキー過ぎず、つまり、黒人音楽が持っているルーツ、
泥臭い響きを強く打ち出しているわりに濃すぎず、スムーズに纏めていいます。

フュージョン風のオリジナル作品を作っているジャズのベースプレイヤーでもあり、
ジャズのギタリストでもある。影響を受けたプレイヤーはエイブラハム・ラボリエル
Abraham Laboriel、マーカス・ミラー Marcus Miller。

ただ、彼の活動範囲はけっこう広くて、これまでにアメリカをはじめ、カナダ、

テキサス出身のエブリー＝アレンプロデュースによるエレクトリックユニット。
現在京都出身のボーカリスト、 橋本ユリアを迎え活動中。フューチャリスティックな
