Back in 2008, owner of Music In Motion, Mike Fernino had an idea about making a podcast that would be specifically for couples planning their weddings! This was in the very beginning of mainstream popularity of podcasts which were named after the Apple Ipod device. Radio style programs were popping up everywhere and a listener could easily download episodes to their Ipod to listen anytime.

Mike had a extensive radio background and so the show, “Wedding of Distinction” was started and continued for several years. But, after about 50 episodes the podcast became difficult to maintain so it just stopped in production. That was until the pandemic of 2020 hit leaving Mike and Music In Motion with alot of spare time. The wedding and private events industry took it right on the chin and essentially shut down the business of private events in Connecticut. So, what to do with all free time? Mike thought that it would be a good opportunity to start up the podcast once again. In fact technology had changed since 2008 and there were many easier ways to get interviews with guests, such as Zoom!

The podcast was re-started with the Inspirational episode called, “We Will Dance Again!” A discussion about how the pandemic would not end the desire for human interaction and celebrations! It is still available for listening. And with that, the podcast has flourished over the past 6 years with close to 70 episodes recorded with all types of topics and with industry professionals such as photographers, travel agents, doctors, insurance agents and even an interview with Susan Knolls from the Golden Bachelor program from ABC!

Most recently, the podcast has gained great accessibility being carried on Pandora, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music, along with 30+ more prominent podcast hosting platforms! The program may be based in the state of Connecticut but it is now listened to in over 30 countries! The Wedding Of Distinction has also been invited to record live interviews at several bridal shows held in Southern New England focusing on interviews with participating vendors. The interviews are informative but very entertaining from the live spontaneous element of Mike’s interviewing style.

” I started the podcast to help couples plan a wedding as there are not many resources out there. The podcast not only informs, it entertains. – Mike Fernino ”

Where it goes from here we don’t know but there are no plans of stopping anytime soon as this is certainly a benefit to the wedding community with hundreds, if not thousands of couples getting fantastic wedding ideas and support from the program. Subscribe to the Wedding Of Distinction Podcast using your favorite podcast platform.

Many things have changed in the last 6 years since a global pandemic totally evolved the world in every way possible. Business has changed. Less people work in a office building with colleagues as there was a shift to working from home. Less office space required which means less rent payment made to the property management. That means less business for formal wear and more for casual. Less restaurant lunch and more eating at home! Less business travel and more colleague to colleague video conferencing using Zoom and other similar platforms. The point is simple. We have changed our lives as a result of what happened in 2020.

For me, owner of a professional DJ entertainment company, we closed our office which was a big part of how we met and worked with our clients. Couples would want to come in for an appointment, sit down, watch videos and have direct face to face contact when discussing their wedding plans. Meeting the DJ personally was important and productive. Now, we see a dynamic shift to on-line investigation, therefore the need for a physical office has changed. We simply don’t need one anymore. And this shift can be directly tied into Bridal Shows. How they are being attended and the amount of them.

Let’s go back to the time before 2020. My DJ company was very active participating at bridal shows often scheduling about 10-12 shows during the year. Many of the shows would be produced during the winter as the engagement season ran from December to February with the holidays being a prime time for engagements. I recall that when I would attend a bridal show there would be so many wedding couples that we would be shaking hands with attendees from the opening of the doors right to the end. Shows would be packed with tables from wedding vendors all looking to meet and connect with couples. And weddings have always been a multi-billion dollar industry in this country. Just say the word “Wedding” and everything seems to be more expensive. BUT, now in 2026 things have changed. Weddings are smaller (On average). Couples are usually on a tight budget, unwilling to mortgage their future away and face a decade of credit card bills to pay for the BIG day. And with that, bridal shows have become smaller and less plentiful in response. Why has this happened?

We can’t blame everything on the pandemic, even though it changed how people act and think these days. No, the main reason for the changes are the reason things evolve. And that is a generation shift. Pre-pandemic the couples in the prime marrying age of 21-35 were occupied by Gen X and Millennials. Now, it is Gen Z that is the age group getting married and they act and think different from their seniors.

Gen Z has grown up completely on smart phones and Google with technology assisting them in all of their everyday tasks. In 1998 a Gen X bride would buy a bridal magazine to read and learn. She would ask family and friends for advice and absolutely attend a bridal show. Gen Z is not like that. They would rather sit in the comfort of their home in their pajamas with phone in hand and read reviews on-line. They will watch hours and hours of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube without ever getting into a car and having to go anywhere to get what they need. And, one can speculate that the impact of smart phone technology has created a generation of young people much less social and willing to engage in actual real conversations. I have personally noticed a huge shift from actual conversations to texting with my clients. And in no way will a Gen Z call you to initiate a conversation. Gen Z is not built like that. They don’t need to make that effort because everything they want is at the tip of a finger as they swipe up and down. When you get used to Amazon bringing your package to your front door in under 24 hours, chances are you won’t be motivated to head out to the mall. Don’t get me started on what has happened to malls!!!!

So, now you can see where I was going with this. Bridal shows require a bride and groom to get out of the house, dress nice (who does that anymore) and participate in a hand shaking event that will force them to interact and hold conversations. One after the other, after the other. And that is NOT their comfort zone. For many Gen Z couples it is a tortuous waste of time and they will only head back to their phone for wedding vendor research. Which really defeats the point of a bridal show.

In my opinion, a bridal show is a great way to meet wedding pros, ask questions, gather data and inform yourself. In the end, I would highly encourage any couple planning their wedding to add a bridal show to their planning process. Get out of your pajamas, get in the car and leave your comfort zone behind to push the envelope. You might just enjoy yourself. And the free food and cake samples don’t hurt either

There are so many things to account for with planning for a wedding. More intricate things than most couples ever realize when they start the wedding planning process. Some pieces of the wedding puzzle are major like booking a great DJ or Photographer. Other services like the food, flowers and even wedding cake can keep you up nights in an ever changing state of mind when it comes down to making a decision.

Some of the decisions will come easy and others might be arduous and slow. Ultimately, it’s your wedding day and you want it to resemble your own unique style and vision. And one of the traditions for a wedding reception is to provide your guests with a gift. What has come to be known as a “wedding favor.” This can be anything from candy, or candles, to a picture frame or even a donation made in the guest’s name to the bride and groom’s favorite charity. One thing is for sure, the wedding favors can add to the stress of planning a wedding if you are not sure what to give and what to do?

Not to mention budget. If you have 100 guests and a wedding favor costs $5 each, you are spending $500 for something to give away. Then, if you make the mistake of thinking that making the wedding favor yourself would be fun, guess again! You will have plenty of things to do before your wedding. You don’t want to add extra responsibility onto your agenda which will already be a overflowing plate! So what to do? How can you give a cool gift to your guests while being unique and fun while keeping the costs to a reasonable level? Answer: Get a Photo Booth for your wedding!

That’s correct, a Photo Booth! Now you might wonder what does a Photo Booth have to do with a wedding favor and the answer is the photo strip that is created and printed for your guests. You see, a Photo Booth experience is not just about taking the pictures and having fun doing it. A booth provider should also be able to print a 2X6 or 4X6 photo strip/card that is given out to the guests and this is where you can make a wedding favor become a FUN experience and not just some candy put on the table place setting!

The photo strip can become the wedding favor and you can actually leave a note on every place setting to go to the photo booth and receive your wedding favor, compliments of the bride and groom! There are even frames, sleeves and acrylic stands that you can get cheap and put on the tables with a note to go to the photo booth and claim your favor! This is a great way to afford a Photo Booth without having to really pay extra. Basically, if you allocate your Photo Booth as the wedding favor, you have added a feature to your wedding that will produce a ton of fun and create a memorable keepsake to boot! “Who doesn’t love taking photos with family and friends?“

*** Keep in mind that not every Photo Booth provider offers printed strips anymore. Some don’t print anything and have your guests just send the digital images to email. This defeats the whole purpose of using your photo booth as a wedding favor and it also is a disappointment when your guests find out there is nothing to take with them. Make sure your Photo Booth service offers printed photo strips!

At In Motion Photo Booth, my company also creates a memory scrap album by printing an extra photo strip and putting it into a wedding scrap album to be signed by your wedding guests. So, not only do the guests receive a wedding favor but the bride and groom receive a awesome gift that they certainly will treasure for years to come! In Motion Photo Booth services all of New England along with Long Island and the Hudson Valley of New York. Find out from your Photo Booth provider if there are associated travel fees or any additional hidden fees before signing a contract. Also make sure you check and see how many hours the provider is offering for their fee. Having a booth for only 2 hours is not enough time to create a memory album and most likely won’t allow all of your guests enough time to get in and take pictures!

If you use a Photo Booth as your wedding favor you will find you have selected one of the most thoughtful and impactful gifts that your guests can receive! Get the picture?

This is a series I am writing called “Wedding Mistakes!” In my 35+ years as a professional wedding DJ I’ve had the opportunity to see a lot of things, A LOT! I often think to myself how wasteful and decadent a wedding can be. Sure, being over the top is a signature of wedding celebrations. After all, if everything was standard a wedding would be no different from a typical dinner out. But, there are some areas of expense that just go past rational thought and quite honestly, are a huge waste of money.

In this blog article we discuss the “Late Night Snack!” Which is typically served in the very last hour of a wedding and usually something casual such as Pizza, Mac-n-Cheese, Burger Sliders, Popcorn and/or Wings. It is more from a platform of shock and awe than it is necessary to nourish the starving wedding guests. After all, the wedding food has been served and guests are dancing and drinking for hours. And then suddenly the caterer sets up a snack table. Sometimes small or simple, and other times totally ridiculous bordering the outrageous.

I want you to think about this? People will on average consume 3-4 times the amount of calories at a wedding vs a standard day. Upon arrival there are hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. During the main dinner program there is either a large buffet with many options or a sit-down multi-course dinner. After dinner its a open bar so your wedding guests are really indulging to a level they rarely do. And then comes dessert which is often wedding cake but sometimes even more. Especially if there is a Venetian table! And after that, the drinks continue flowing and people keep dancing!

One would question the need or even sanity of additional food in this scenario, but it boils down to 2 main reasons for having the Late Night Snack. The Bride and Groom are looking to impress and the venue is looking to take even more of your money! Let’s be transparent here. The venue / caterer usually gets the majority of your wedding funds. They sell to you first, meaning a couple will usually book with a venue before hiring any other wedding professionals. And that means your bank account is prime and ready to spend. Venues will usually get couples excited and play on the emotion that exists when planning a wedding. They sell a lot more than just food.

“It’s the salesperson’s job to sell you what you DON’T need!”

Chair covers, cigar bar, upgraded liquors and open bar, special lighting, dessert tables etc etc. They are in the prime position to get you excited and take as much advantage of you as they can. And sometimes that leaves a bride and groom with less to work with when it comes to booking other pros like photographer, florist and DJ/Band.

There are plenty of wasteful and unnecessary areas that can realistically be cut and that is what this series will focus on. But I had to lead off with the late night snack because it may be the most un-needed upsell that a venue can try and peddle upon you. Consider what will make a larger contribution to the success of your wedding? A first class DJ or a Cheeseburger? It sounds like I’m biassed but I know for a fact that these snack tables often cost more than the DJ. And when guests are leaving your wedding early because they are NOT entertained and dancing they won’t even know about the Late Night Snack Table in the first place! In conclusion, don’t sacrifice the quality of your professional vendors because you spent too much on a gimmick!

As a wedding entertainer / professional DJ I speak from a platform of experience. It is very rare that I see the snack table get total consumed. In fact, it is common to have only a small portion of the food eaten and the caterer throwing away all that is un-eaten. Most guests will look at the table and say, “OMG, no way” I can’t remember when I ever saw the snacks get totally used up? So, while it serves as a conversation piece and really gives the couple a chance to brag, it’s just a mind numbing waste of funds. There are so many better ways to spend your hard-earned money on than a table of Cheeseburgers and PIzza after the banquet of your life!

More and more couples who are of marrying age (20-39) are not calling to speak with a potential DJ for their wedding. They are texting or sending e-mails, and thus missing out on a crucial element of interaction, which is the DJ’s job in the first place. Having a working chemistry with your DJ is so important for a smooth wedding experience. Hearing the DJ speak and even seeing them via zoom, facetime or in-person can be the difference between the perfect fit and a incompatible match!

Many times the first or even the only question a couple will ask via text is, “What’s your price?” And to prioritize a DJ’s rate without knowing their value is a empty question. To only look at price assumes that ALL DJs are exactly the same. A commodity of such and you are assuming there really is no level of differentiation between this DJ and the next. Just like car shopping. If you want a particular vehicle and can effectively compare prices from one dealership to the next you should find the best deal. And the “give me your best deal” factor is certainly in play.

But DJs are people and no two are really alike! In some cases the difference in talent, experience and professionalism can be extraordinary! Certainly, everyone should have a budget but picking the lowest priced DJ solely based on low price is a recipe for utter disappointment. On the flip side, contracting the highest priced DJ does not guarantee a good time or even a good fit! Truly, you should consider these 15 questions to determine value and then directly compare the asking rate of compensation with the noted value.

” FREE is hardly ever the best deal! “

As the owner of Music In Motion Entertainment and a experienced wedding DJ I have come up with 15 questions that will provide a couple total transparency into whether a wedding DJ is the piece they are looking for to complete their personal wedding puzzle. And for the record, “What’s Your Price” is NOT the first question to ask!

What made you get into the DJ / Wedding business in the first place?

What are your qualifications and experience level when it comes to performing at weddings?

How many weddings have you performed at?

Have you ever worked at our venue before? If not, would you consider a on-site survey?

If the venue requires it, are you properly insured and can your provide a additionally insured COI to the venue?

What do you have for backup equipment and do you have a plan in place to avoid a gear failure?

What happens if you can’t make my wedding day? Do you have a backup plan in place of equally qualified DJ substitutes?

Are you the DJ who will be performing at our wedding and do you offer a guarantee in writing?

Are there additional fees such as travel, set up fee, extended sound equipment, lighting, ceremony sound, etc.?

When do you arrive for set up?

Do you offer a on-line event and music planning system? Is it included or extra?

Can we see a photo or video of your wedding setup?

Do you offer overtime? What is the rate? Can it be a spontaneous day of decision?

Do you have a proper sound system to fit our room and guest count?

And the last question…….. What is your rate and what is included? Do you have packages? (always ask $ last so you can find out what you get first)

Ultimately, the best thing you can do is physically speak with your DJ. They are not hired to just play music but also to be Master Of Ceremonies and host your reception festivities. Set a budget but be willing to increase that budget for the right fit as the DJ can make or break the memory of your once in a lifetime wedding day!

The Wedding Of Distinction podcast hosted by Music In Motion owner and founder Mike Fernino had a special interview with Susan Noles. Susan was a contestant on ABC’s smash hit series, The Golden Bachelor and is a wedding officiant as well. In fact, Susan was asked to perform the ceremonial duties as justice of the peace for the Golden Wedding which aired live on ABC TV in January. The Golden Bachelor himself, Gerry Turner married his choice for final rose recipient, Theresa and golden the event was.

ABC, owned by Disney put on a fairytale celebration of love and Susan was at the forefront as wedding celebrant. She has a incredibly positive and bubbly personality and that shown true during the ceremony as she hosted. The entire series, The Golden Bachelor broke records and was one of the most watched Bachelor series in history. The Golden Wedding was attended by many dignitaries and past bachelor contestants including Trista & Ryan, the very first couple from the original program in 2002.

On the podcast Mike Fernino asks Susan about how things have changed for her after all the notoriety along with her opinion on why couples should always consider having a professional wedding officiant at their ceremony. The interview is fun and a great listen for anyone planning a wedding or just a fan of the bachelor series.

Photo Booths have become a standard addition to wedding receptions. What started out looking like a quick fad has turned into a MUST HAVE feature. People love taking photos and the combination of photos along with the scrap booking keepsake for the bride and groom is a great combination! As a result there are tons of photo booth providers and options out there! So what is what and how can you determine what is the best fit for you and your guests? Let’s take a look at the 4 main types of booths and what they can contribute to your BIG day!

Traditional Photo Booth : The traditional Photo Booth is a replication of the classic photo booths you may remember from the mall? It is a shell concept with a curtain and private photo taking area, usually with a few chairs. There is a touch screen system where the guests can make selections and also see their images before the camera snaps a picture. Some even offer video capture for fun messages to the bride and groom. This style of booth usually has a printer to make a photo strip with the images and custom graphics. The guests receive the photo strip immediately as a keepsake of the wedding. If there is a scrap book option being offered the guest receives one photo strip and a copy goes into the book. The guest book is then signed by all guests and presented to the bride and groom at the end of the wedding.

Note * There seem to be less and less of this option available as many providers have elected to downsize to more portable options or even more modern options. That does not diminish the fact that this may be the over-all best option for a wedding reception appreciated by the majority of guests for its recognizable and user friendly concept.

Open Air / Kiosk Style Booth : This booth is actually not a booth at all. It’s more of the photo taking area usually with a backdrop so guests can stand in front and get their photos taken by a kiosk style camera system. These systems can be very different from one to the next. The main thing to consider is that this experience will be more like a prom photo shoot vs the private photo taking experience had inside a traditional booth. With that said, these are probably the most popular and most prevalent setups out there currently. Many kiosks have their own printer for immediate photo strips but some providers have converted over to on-line images where the guests can send the digital capture direct to their personal email. Backdrops can me customized often with the user having a multitude of choices of design and color.

Note * Because this style of booth requires standing in front of a backdrop consider whether or not it is a good choice for your wedding guests. A advantage of this open air concept will be that larger groups of guests can get into the photos vs a traditional booth with curtain system.

Mirror Booth : Just like the open air booth this is NOT a booth at all. The mirror is a marvel of technology acting in place of the kiosk booth with a backdrop area but the unit looks like a full functional stand up mirror. The guests stand in front and can see their entire image. Commands and options are made on the surface of the mirror itself usually with instructions to the guest appearing right on the mirror glass. It is definitely a conversation starter piece. As unique this option is one must understand that the images are very different from the traditional booth. In a traditional booth the photos are taken from the shoulders up for a face shot. With the mirror you are looking at a full body image. So one must consider if the guests want the full body shot vs head shot. Another con to this booth is the intimidation of technology with older guests. Many won’t know what this is or how to use it. As a result a mirror booth tends to attract only the younger guests often alienating the older folks. Just like the kiosk depending on the operator you can receive a printed photo strip or direct digital email.

Note * The mirror booth tends to be more expensive when compared to a traditional or kiosk style booth. With that said the mirror is a remarkable concept and a great addition to any contemporary wedding reception!

360 Video Booth : This booth is also not a booth at all. In fact it has nothing to do with photos. The 360 has exploded onto the scene and is a fun addition to a wedding with some important things to consider. As mentioned it is not a photo taking system but rather a video camera on a pole that circles around the subjects who stand on a raised platform while it captures slow motion / special effect video of the guests dancing and acting silly. The guests will not receive anything to look at but instead have access after the wedding in a cloud to grab the video footage. For this reason you might want want to understand some folks will be disappointed.

Note * The key thing with the 360 video booth is liability as the guests, who probably will be drinking have to stand on a raised circle platform. No one wants someone to get hurt at their wedding reception. Can you see something going wrong with this scenario? Additionally, if you thought that the mirror would intimidate some of the older guests the 360 will almost certainly appeal only to the younger guests leaving the “mature” folks to watch from afar.

The 4 different models mentioned in this blog are not the only options out there but certainly the most predominant options. Quality and professionalism will dramatically differ from one provider to the next. There are some really fine booth systems made by professionals and then there are the home-made “camera on a stick” operations and a bride & groom can easily get taken for a ride. Rather than be disappointed have the same degree of scrutiny in selecting your photo booth provider as you would with your photographer, DJ or venue. In most cases the saying…….“You get what you pay for” is still one of the truest sayings.

When people start out looking for a DJ there tends to be a certain level of expectation. Of course you want to have a fun event. Of course a bride and groom want to have a spectacular wedding! And of course the family wants the Batmitzvah girl to have a blast with all of her friends! Unfortunately, what starts out as a expectation for exceptional entertainment can turn into disappointment if the following 3 things don’t occur.

NUMBER ONE * What’s your price?” * Look beyond the rate quote! I am not suggesting that you should just wildly spend without a budget or any concern for expense but when the only thing you are interested in and only question you are asking is about price there is a propensity to select the cheapest DJ. I mean if the lowest price is all you care about you must be assuming that ALL DJs are the same and can produce the same level of service and positive experience. This is where you would make a large mistake.

If you assume that a Mercedes Benz is just a car and you will get from A to B the same with a Toyota Corolla you would be half correct. Yes, they are both cars but that’s where the similarities end. It’s all about the experience and clearly the more expensive car will get you from A to B in a much more comfortable and luxurious manner. The Toyota will get you there but just not with the same level of comfort and class. And then there is a $500 rusted car from 1974 with no muffler. Good luck getting to point B. You might get there but it’s going to be a bumpy road.

We can say that this scenario exists for DJs as well. The very expensive DJs will provide a fabulous experience, most of the time. The super cheap DJ will be a disaster and the middle of the market DJ can go down the center without any extremes. Meaning you won’t hate them but you won’t be jumping for joy either. It will be a average or slightly above average experience. Rule of this story is to set a reasonable budget and do not select entertainment based on price along. Look at their credentials, experience level, ratings, history and professionalism during your interaction. Find a DJ who can make you feel comfortable that you are going to get what you are looking for and maybe even exceed expectations. Just have realistic expectations.

NUMBER TWO * Don’t text your DJ, CALL THEM! * When hiring a DJ remember that they not only provide music but should also be your event host. Your entertainment, Master of ceremonies and person on the microphone. Do not assume that all DJs can speak well on the microphone because they don’t! Most DJs have NO formal vocal training or even practice microphone technique. They just awkwardly fumble through the spoken word so they can get to the dancing and music program of your event. Problem with that is that more formal events like a Wedding require someone who can really connect with your guests and effectively communicate. So why then would you ever hire a DJ/MC without hearing their voice and actually speaking with them?

Set a phone conference, zoom video call or even a face-to-face direct get-together. Meeting to see if you have good chemistry with the DJ can be a crucial part to finding your perfect fit. Remember that assuming all DJs are the same is a drastic mistake!

NUMBER THREE * Check Them OUT! * We live in times where almost any professional should have a website. A facebook page. A instagram or TikTok channel. Actually check out the DJ. Read their on-line reviews! Any experienced DJ will have many reviews. Not all reviews will be 5 star, be realistic that not everyone can be 5 stars to ALL people, all of the time but certainly look for a provider with a overwhelming amount of happy clients and a score over 4.0 out of 5.0.

After you have done the research and looked at their website, read the reviews, spoken with them over the phone and received a price for services you now are in a better position to make a educated and informed decision based on your taste, expectations and budget. Remember that this is a job interview and you want to hire someone who you feel confident in that they will provide the level of service that you demand. In other words, ” You get out of something what you put into it! “

Do these 3 things when looking to hire a DJ and you will greatly diminish the chance of expecting one thing only to get another.

So many times when I get an inquiry for a wedding or private event the potential clients will ask a host of questions, but rarely ever do they ask about my vocal skills and credentials as a Master of Ceremony. In fact, people today are more inclined to text or email me and would settle to hiring my services having never hearing my voice or experiencing how I speak and present myself. It’s a stunning revelation to me but I understand this is just how society has evolved with smart phones being the dominant method of communication today. It is very unlikely that people will actually use their phone to talk. I often initiate a phone call, zoom or in person meeting because I understand how important the first impression is.

When hiring a DJ one would be expecting a discussion about music. People also expect sound and speakers or maybe lighting, or even a photo booth! These are all tools of the trade and allow us to do our job, but the foundation of what we do is personality based. When hiring a DJ you are hiring more than just music. You are getting a representative of you to your guests. How they speak and how they present themselves will leave a indelible mark that will be remembered long after the songs are forgotten. Dare I say if the DJ does not speak well that might be the primary impression made.

The term “master of ceremonies” was created describing someone who is the person in charge of announcements and communication. And to “Master” something is to bring excellence to the service. However, sadly 9 out of 10 DJs have absolutely no formal vocal training or even practice improving their skills as a Master of Ceremonies. Usually a DJ gets into the business out of a love of music, BUT not public speaking. ” Public speaking is one of the most difficult tasks and most feared as well. It’s often said many people would rather be the person in the casket vs the person delivering the eulogy. “

Have you ever been to a wedding where the DJ totally butchered the formal introductions and even said names incorrectly? Or a party where the DJ was extremely annoying on the microphone and could not stop talking over the songs? Or simply a event where the person on the microphone was not a eloquent speaker and lacked confidence and smooth delivery? These experiences are those of amateurs and usually a clear indicator of no formal vocal training.

As owner of Music In Motion Entertainment and during my 39 year career as a professional DJ I have had the opportunity to work on radio, produce commercials, perform for thousands of events and even present seminars and workshops. During that time I have always made it a point to improve, train and practice. Because it is important to me that when I am hired and my client puts trust in me it is extremely important to deliver when the microphone is in my hand. Whether it is a public speaking group, radio training or Master of Ceremonies workshops I have pushed myself to always be better. My clients deserve that! They deserve excellence and that is what I push myself to deliver!

Next time you are looking to hire DJ entertainment please remember that the music is only one piece of the puzzle. In fact, make sure you directly speak with a DJ so you can hear their voice, feel their enthusiasm and see if there is a good chemistry that would make you want to work with this individual and let them be your representative to your guests. Never forget you are hiring voice, personality and talent. Not just music!
