The truth is, nobody really knows. You go back to the philophers and they don't tell you crap, but they do, it's just htat none of it works. I tried a Bhuddhist ritual the other night after hearing a story about that particular religion/far eastern philosophy during a 60 minutes-type in depth news program, and I tell you what, meditation don't give you nothing that a nice night of rest can't give you. There is nothing in this workd that cannot be solved by 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep, except maybe a smile from a lady. If you're uncertain as to where you're headed in this life, look no further than your own self, and do not pity, nay do not pity, for that is where the dark side lingers. I've had dark thoughts, sure, but in those times where I'm thinkning such dark things, I tell myself toi buck up, pal, because there's a lot more out there than just feeling sorry for yourself. Idon't believe in a God that's angry, but I do believe in one that's spiteful, because h'es spited tha pants off of me. Why else would I be living in a one-bedrrom apartment with no cable TV and no one to share a book with at night? My fondest dream is to find someone who won't mind it if I read out loud to them. Looking at someone nestled close while I read out loud would just fill me with love, an no, I wouldn't mind if they fell asleep once in a whiel. Readin is calming, and I would like my love to be calmed by the sound of my voiec. What I'm here to tell you is: it's not your fault! There's a scene in the movie where Robin Williams tells this to Matt Damon, andit's absolutely true. ABSOLUTELY. There is no reason in the world to get upste about people dying and money running out and people jumping out of ubildings and such. Look at the world around you and smell what your neigbhor's cookin' and love the earth and the planet. These are the days, my friends, and someday you'll loou back on them and say, "Yes, I did make the most of my time out there mowing that lawn, talking to the birds." I'm sorry to drone on, but these posts are what keep me intersted in living.

Loev of My lLife

OK, I don't want to say anything that might jinx this (and thus make me a Coke ower), but I ithkn I may have met the woman of my dreams, and this time it wasn't in my dreams! That may sound degrading to some of your young folkls, but that's the way SPanish folks are - it's that machismo. Well I want to make this woman my woman, if you know what I mean.
