Dinamo Player is a custom built web radio player for Istanbul’s premier electronic/indie/urban music radio station. This custom player can be downloaded for and used on Mac OS X and Windows operating systems as well as on the web at live.dinamo.fm. It features a lagometer, an audioscope, live track info that queries Last.fm’s API and various links for Dinamo 103.8’s online presence.

Dinamo 103.8 is Istanbul’s premier electronic/indie/urban music radio station. We wanted the new website to be simple, modern and out of the ordinary. The site features sliding panels that can be zoomed out as seen in the screenshot, completely implemented in Javascript–No Flash! There is also a Now Playing block that queries Last.fm’s API to get the artist image, info, tour date, etc. The schedule is based on an embedded Google Calendar which enables users to add select shows or all of the schedule to their own calendar. The news section pulls news headlines from blog.dinamo.fm and the download section contains many wallpapers as well as a custom designed Dinamo Player. Check it out at: dinamo.fm
