Na segunda metade dos anos 80, teenager, comecei o meu percurso como hacker.

Ja’ desde o inicio dos anos 80, com 12 ou 13 anos, que “mexia” em computadores: ZX81, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, PC Amstrad. Mas foi a partir do momento que tive o primeiro modem (1200 baud) que comecei a fazer “asneiras”.

Noites longas a aceder ao pad X.25 da TAP para depois poder ligar ‘a borla para a PC Pursuit e para as BBS nos EUA, com o modem ligado ‘a ficha telefonica, algo ilegal na altura, e com o telefone embrulhado num cobertor para que os rintintins que ‘as vezes soavam nao acordassem a familia, pais especialmente.

Vou falar-lhes dum Reino Maravilhoso. Embora muitas pessoas digam que não, sempre houve e haverá reinos maravilhosos neste mundo.

Nos códigos e no catecismo o pecado de orgulho é dos piores. Talvez que os códigos e o catecismo tenham razão. Resta saber se haverá coisa mais bela nesta vida do que o puro dom de se olhar um estranho como se ele fosse um irmão bem-vindo, embora o preço da desilusão seja às vezes uma facada.

Dentro ou fora do seu dólmen (maneira que eu tenho de chamar aos buracos onde vive a maioria) estes homens não têm medo senão da pequenez. Medo de ficarem aquém do estalão por onde, desde que o mundo é mundo, se mede à hora da morte o tamanho de uma criatura.

Na inquebrantável decisão de levar tudo ao fim, na teimosia que, uma vez segura da sua verdade, não cede a nenhum argumento, e no gosto inquieto de conhecer, podia ter sido um novo Fernão de Magalhães. a dar a volta aos mundos de agora. Mas infelizmente a pátria não convida os filhos para tais empresas.

Vive entre irmãos que não mudam de camisa para esbofetear o mais pintado, seja ele o autor do Amor de Perdição, mas que também lhe tiram o chapéu, caso o mereça.

Bateram-lhe realmente nas romarias, mas deram-lhe o maior bem que se pode ter:

O nome de Transmontano, que quer dizer filho de Trás-os-Montes, pois assim se chama Reino Maravilhoso de que vos falei.

Nao sou um tipo que goste muito de grupos e de ajuntamentos. Sou individualista por natureza; disponivel para cooperar; renitente se a pertenca a este ou aquele grupo me for imposta.

Sempre me fez muita impressao a tendencia q existe na Tugalandia para, quando confrontado com mudancas e oportunidades, em vez de criar empresas o tuga trate logo de criar eventos, meetups, jantas, confs e associacoes.

No caso em apreco neste post: ha 2 anos atras nao tive problema em fazer parte do grupo de pessoas que criou a Associacao Portuguesa de Blockchain e Criptomoedas. Era obvio que era necessaria uma voz para responder ‘a ignorancia da comunicacao social e dos politicos. Nenhuma empresa sozinha teria alavancagem para interagir com esses intervenientes.

Isto mostra que, como individualista, estou mesmo assim disponivel para ser membro de coletivos que facam sentido. Nomeadamente, e em particular para mim, acho que faz sentido uma pessoa pertencer a um colectivo enquanto 1) retirar dessa participacao beneficios e/ou 2) com a sua participacao puder trazer beneficios ao colectivo. De preferencia as duas coisas ao mesmo tempo.

Serve isto para dizer que, apos 2 anos de disponibilidade na construcao da APBC, verifico que neste momento nao acontece nenhuma das 2 condicoes. Nem retiro beneficio de participar activamente na mesma (se calhar ate’ terei prejuizo, mas nao entro em detalhes) e nem sinto que o meu conhecimento e participacao seja requerida e reconhecida (mais uma vez se calhar ate’ acontece o contrario, mas nao vou entrar em detalhes).

Tendo um conjunto de iniciativas em arranque que exigem que eu clarifique a minha posicao e participacao na APBC, comuniquei ja’ ao presidente da APBC a minha decisao de deixar de participar activamente na associacao. Manter-me-ei como socio, mas deixarei de participar nos corpos sociais ou de desempenhar qualquer papel activo.

Continuo a acreditar que a APBC e’ uma organizacao necessaria e que tem um papel a desempenhar em Portugal no que diz respeito ‘a nascente industria da blockchain e dos criptoativos e desejo que futuramente esse papel seja cada vez mais concreto e proactivo.

Alienated because they are playing a different level of game, they are drowned out and silenced by the cheerleaders: Ostracized.”

Qualquer semelhanca entre isto, eu e Portugal nos ultimos 5 anos nao e’ pura coincidencia. Talvez escreva algo em Portugues sobre isso.

Mas há algo que precisa de ser dito; se há merdas que não suporto são hipocrisias e falta de honestidade intelectual.

O Partido Socialista, e sucessivos governos socialistas (incluindo António Costa), usaram a PT como sua coutada pessoal. Para empregos para si. Para empregos para os filhos. Para negócios seus. E para negócios com o BES e com Ricardo Salgado e com mihões em subornos.

Para engordar a coutada e aumentar a gamela de onde iam eventualmente comer, o Partido Socialista e sucessivos governos socialistas (que incluiram António Costa):

• alongaram o período de monopólio da PT para além de 1998, permitindo que a mesma continuasse a extrair rendas injustas dos cidadãos e empresas portuguesas
• durante e depois disso, continuaram a entregar à PT todos os negócios do Estado, ignorando não só as regras da concorrência mas as regras de bom cuidado do erário público
• entregaram à PT a rede nacional de comunicações, por ajuste directo, sem qualquer método de concurso, leilão ou venda pública que considerasse ofertas vantajosas de outros operadores
• permitiram que a PT extorquisse milhões aos outros operadores de telecomunicações para poderem usar a rede da PT (muitas vezes obrigados porque não podiam construir infraestrutura própria, impedidos pelo Estado)
• permitiram à PT e aos municipios cobrar milhões pelo uso das condutas de telecomunicações que estão enterradas junto às estradas e autoestradas
• criaram um pseudo-operador de telecomunicações, nomeado SIRESP, a quem obrigaram que pagasse milhões à PT para usar a rede e condutas da mesma
• tecnicamente escolheram um sistema de comunicações de emergência (SIRESP) arquitectado para depender de uma infraestrutura com partes em que os cabos de telecomunicações estão suspensos em postes e não estão enterrados
• entregaram por ajuste directo a operação desse sistema a um pseudo-operador obrigado a depender de outro operador que se propôs suportar um sistema de comunicação de emergência, usado durante incêndios, em cima de cabos aéreos amarrados em postes junto às árvores
• entregaram esse negócio (o das linhas do SIRESP) à PT por ajuste directo, sem qualquer concurso público

E agora a culpa dos problemas do SIRESP é da PT? Agora é que os cabos em postes são um problema num sistema de comunicações de emergência? Agora é que as condutas estão caras e vão já baixar 50% na 2a feira? Agora é que se calhar é uma ideia falar com outros operadores? Quem fez essas escolhas? Agora já não são boa ideia? Ou já não há gamela para filhos, primos e amigos?

Vão para o caralho. O Partido Socialista (e António Costa) estão a colher a monocultura que semearam (para além da do eucalipto) e que agora lhes pegou fogo à floresta laurisilva. Eu estou tipo Nero, sentado de bancada a comer pipocas e a ver o circo PT a arder, divertidissimo. Com sorte, antes de morrer, ainda vejo a Microsoft a pegar fogo também.
