			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As Barack Obama&#8217;s Presidential Approval Ratings fall to their lowest level of his Presidency, his numbers in two key swing states that got him elected are falling as well. In the state I reside, Ohio, Barack Obama&#8217;s numbers have fallen considerably in the latest <a href="http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1284.xml?ReleaseID=1347&amp;What=&amp;strArea=;&amp;strTime=0"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Quinnipiac Poll</strong></span></a>, which shows his approval rating has fallen from 62% in May to 49% in July, a drop of 13% in just eight weeks. In another key swing state, Virginia, Obama&#8217;s Approval Rating is at 48% in the <a href="http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_VA_708.pdf"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>PPP survey</strong></span></a>, while 46% of Virginians disapprove of his job. I created a chart that tracks Obama&#8217;s Approval Rating in Ohio since he took office, and as you can clearly see below, his numbers are falling fast.</p>

<p>Day by day more Americans are beginning to put the blame on President Obama for the bad economic climate, instead of former President George W. Bush. Although President Obama inherited this recession, his Administration made these statements below that have turned out to be terribly wrong:</p>
<p>-Two Obama Economic Advisors predicted on <a href="http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/washingtondc/la-na-obama-stimulus9-2009jun09,0,5788007.story"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>January 8th</strong></span></a> &#8220;that with the stimulus spending, the U.S. unemployment rate this year would not exceed 8%.&#8221;</p>
<p>-The Obama Administration later <a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124654957038686549.html"><strong>said</strong></a>, &#8220;Without the stimulus, the rate would be at 9%.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Well in case you didn&#8217;t know, the unemployment rate is at 9.5% and is well on its way to 10%. The two quotes above hurt the Obama Administration as they pushed their Stimulus package at the beginning of the year, because the $787 billion package has yet to stop the rising unemployment rate.</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Extra Notes</span><br />
</strong></p>
<p>-Obama&#8217;s Approval Rating Average in the <a href="http://mvred.com/2009/01/20/president-obama-approval-rating/"><strong>Pollster.com</strong></a> page is down to 53.3%.</p>
<p>-Obama&#8217;s Approval Index in <a href="http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Rasmussen Reports</strong></span></a> is down to -5, his lowest level ever. The poll found that 37% of Americans strongly disapprove of Obama, while 32% strongly approve of his job.</p>

In a memorial service at Los Angeles&#8217; famed Staples Center, fans and celebrities alike gathered to pay their final respects to Michael Jackson. Jackson died on June 25th of an apparent cardiac arrest in California. However, today was not a day about remembering his death but about celebrating his life. Jackson&#8217;s credentials are indelible: he is the best selling solo artist of the last 25 years, he has the best selling album of all-time in the critically acclaimed Thriller, 13 Grammy wins, 13 number one hits, and the Guinness Book Of World Records named him the &#8220;most successful entertainer of all-time&#8221; with 750 million records sold.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft" title="Michael Jackson" src="http://www.pardonmeduke.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/mj-rip1.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="363" />Those celebrities and famous people who attended the service included Jackson&#8217;s brothers, and two sisters including Janet Jackson. Others included the children of Martin Luther King, Smokey Robinson, the Reverend Al Sharpton, Kobe Bryant, Justin Timberlake with special messages from Diana Ross and Nelson Mandella. The guest list really does show you how much Michael Jackson meant to the world as the most famous of famous people came out to pay their respects.</p>
<p>Initial estimates claim that due to the immense amounts of people who viewed the service on television, the Internet and at Staples Center, Michael Jackson&#8217;s memorial service is the largest gathering for a deceased person in the history of the World. CNN estimates that an astronomical 1 BILLION people watched the ceremony worldwide. So, not only was he the greatest entertainer, Michael Jackson goes out with a bang as well, having his memorial service the largest gathering for a deceased person in Earth&#8217;s history.</p>
<p>Before readers come on here, look at the title, don&#8217;t read the article and just claim things like &#8216;Michael Jackson is a pedophile&#8217;, he is &#8216;weird&#8217;, etc. Let me be the first to say that yes, Michael Jackson was an odd person. But, then again, what celebrity or even politician isn&#8217;t? Was he a role model? No. And I haven&#8217;t heard anyone in the last few weeks call him a role model. He wasn&#8217;t. He was addicted to painkillers, he was in pain almost constantly, emotionally and physically. And don&#8217;t come on and say he was a pedophile. Was he tried for molestation? Yes. Was he found guilty? No. If that&#8217;s all you will come on here to say, please, just save it. Michael Jackson, throughout the controversy, however, supported 39 charities throughout his life, raised and donating millions and millions of dollars. As an entertainer, he has donated the most money to charity of all-time.</p>
<p>Whether you loved him as a person, or hated him, there is no denying the world loves Michael Jackson. The best selling pop artist to ever live, Michael Jackson&#8217;s legacy will never fade. His music will run through radio airwaves for the rest of our lives, his videos will be shown on television for as long as we&#8217;ll be able to remember. He left us with great songs like &#8220;Billie Jean&#8221; and &#8220;Man In The Mirror&#8221; and with great moments like the &#8220;Moonwalk&#8221; and the &#8220;white glove&#8221;. He is the greatest entertainer of all-time, and his death is the biggest celebrity death in our entire lifetime. He will be missed severely.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I won&#8217;t lie, I still am a bit beleaguered about this Sarah Palin thing. After pondering on it the past four days, I honestly believe Palin made this decision to improve her chances in 2012, although I question if this decision will benefit Palin at all over the next few years.</p>
<p>Each and every week since late last August, the left has been obsessed with attacking Sarah Palin. They have thrown sixteen ethics complaints against her, fifteen of which have already been dismissed. Due to the large amounts of Alaskan tax dollars being wasted on defending Palin and all the other &#8216;bs&#8217; that Palin has had to put up with over the past ten months, it has been very difficult for Palin to advance her agenda in the State of Alaska. By resigning, the Lt. Governor of Alaska can advance the same conservative agenda of Alaska without all the headaches that Palin has had to put up with from the media.</p>
<p>I think Bill O&#8217;Reilly has some very smart analysis, although I find myself agreeing with Karl Rove in this particular clip.</p>

<p>This morning, <a href="http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2012/palin_at_the_top_and_bottom_for_gop_voters_in_2012"><strong>RasmussenReports.com</strong></a> released their 2012 Republican Primary Poll that has some pretty interesting findings.</p>
<p><strong>Which of the following Republicans will you vote for in 2012?</strong><br />

* Sarah Palin 24%<br />
* Mike Huckabee 22%<br />
* Newt Gingrich 14%<br />
* Haley Barbour 1%<br />

<p><strong>Regardless of who you would vote for, which candidate would you least like to see win the Republican nomination in 2012?</strong><br />
* Sarah Palin 21%<br />

* Mike Huckabee 10%<br />

<p>As I have recently mentioned, I am a Mitt Romney guy as it stands right now. He has done just about everything right offering his own ideas on the economy, automobile industry, and on health care, while criticizing the President and the Democrats in office in a respectful manner. Many pundits like his chances as it stands right now.</p>
<p>The most interesting finding of the survey however is the support Palin still receives, despite her resignation this past Friday. Palin is in a statistical dead heat with Romney and Huckabee, but when asked what Republican you&#8217;d least like to see on the ticket, Palin tops the list with Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, each with 21%.</p>
<p>Forty percent of Republicans are in agreement that Palin&#8217;s resignation will hurt her chances in 2012.</p>

<p>After dwelling on this subject for the past few days, I think Palin did what she believed was best for her state. Now I can understand if people want to debate about that point, but it certainly sounds like she was fed up with the &#8216;bs&#8217; being thrown at her that she simply could not continue to run the State of Alaska to the best of her ability. The media has played this thing overwhelmingly negative for Palin, but if she starts to do some things right once she officially resigns at the end of the month, I think this may turn out to benefit Palin a bit.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>About the only two things I got out of Sarah Palin&#8217;s Press Conference on Friday is that she is not running for re-election in 2010 and that she is actually resigning from the Office of Governor on July 26th. The rest of her speech made little to no sense to me whatsoever. It left me asking myself three questions:<br />
1) Did she resign to care for her family?<br />
2) Did she resign to make a run at 2012?<br />
3) Did she resign because she is absolutely crazy?</p>
<p>To be quite honest with you, I don&#8217;t see how resigning from the Office of Governor before finishing out a full first term in office can benefit Sarah Palin. Liberals loved attacking Palin last fall by saying she was one heartbeat away from being President with her lack of experience. To be quite honest with you, by resigning as Governor, she is going to take a big hit on the experience front to much of America.</p>
<p>What Sarah Palin must do now is consider relocating to the lower 48 and help campaign for Republicans all across America in order to have a successful midterm election in 2010 for the GOP. Palin is the star of the conservative base of the Republican Party; which could benefit Republicans in 2010 as they look to secure conservative voters.</p>
<p>Palin&#8217;s decision to resign will destroy any realistic chances for her to win the 2012 Republican nomination. I simply cannot see Republicans nominating someone that is very much hated by many Independent and Liberal voters, especially after her bizarre decision to resign.</p>
<p>Although I absolutely love Sarah Palin and her conservative credentials, this move only hurt her in her hopes of ever running for President. She can do a lot more for herself and her country by becoming a speaker and advocate for the pro-life movement and the conservative movement here in the USA.</p>
<p>I think there are two Republicans that are absolutely loving the past two weeks with Palin resigning and Ensign/Sanford admitting marital affairs; they being Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee.</p>
<p>Three years out, my support is behind Romney in 2012.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I commend Republican Minority Leader John Boehner for attempting to filibuster the largest tax increase in American history. Despite that, I am extremely agitated with eight Republican &#8216;traitors&#8217; that decided to defect to Nancy Pelosi to help get this bill passed by the narrowest of margins, 219-212. In order to pass, this bill needed a total of 218 votes. As you can clearly see, the eight Republican traitors are the primary reason this provocative piece of legislation passed in the US House. Below Boehner&#8217;s filibuster video from YouTube, I provided the phone numbers of these eight Republicans that decided to vote for this gigantic tax increase on all Americans. I urge you to clog up their telephone lines and let them know that you are very unhappy with their decision. <a href="http://twitter.com/VodkaPundit/statuses/2351850959">Vodkapundit</a> said it best, “Never have so few stolen so much from so many to achieve so little.”</p>
<p>Thankfully, many pundits are predicting Cap and Trade will die a painful death in the US Senate. Although a few Republicans like Snowe and Collins from Maine may back it, there are a number of Democrats from farming states that will likely not.</p>

Much like the day John Lennon or Elvis died, June 25th is now a day that will be used to mourn and remember. This time we will not be trying to remember a Beatle or the King Of Rock N&#8217; Roll but the King Of Pop, Michael Jackson.</p>
<p>A lot of people will cite the troubles and controversies in Jackson&#8217;s life, including his trial for sexual molestation, as a way to hate Jackson or discredit what he has done in his career. However, there is no denying the power he had: to break down the barriers of race and make his music universally liked by people of all ethnicity. His dancing, his singing and his fashion were admired and liked by all. He had quite possibly the biggest and best run in the history of the music industry. Michael Jackson owns three of the best selling albums of all-time, including the #1 most popular album ever: Thriller. Thriller has sold 109 million copies worldwide and is far and away the number one album. The other two albums by Jackson in the top of pyramid, Dangerous and Bad have sold a combined 62 million dollars worldwide. He has often been cited as the greatest entertainer of all time and the Guinness Book Of World Records has called Jackson the &#8220;most successful entertainer of all time&#8221;. He was one of a kind.</p>
<p>I won&#8217;t go into the details about the speculation of how he died or why, but I will say this: Michael Jackson is the greatest musician to ever live. Yes, better than Elvis. More influential than The Beatles and more successful than Bob Dylan. Michael Jackson forged a path that no one else has ever made before and had a career that no one else will ever top. He is the greatest ever, and he will be sorely missed.</p>
<p>R.I.P. to the greatest of all-time.</p>
