Yeah, its a DC thang! As a kid growing up in the DMV, GoGo shows were a rite of passage and always an unforgettable experience. The GoGo beat was unmistakably DC, and all Chuck Brown. It was such a downer to learn that the Godfather of GoGo passed away today. Wherever he’s moved on to just got a whole lot funkier.
