GW:
Codex: Tyranids getting released in January.  Most people are going to complain that its to soon but if you look at their codex 1/2 the stuff doesn’t do anything anymore.  Not from GD UK but it is rumored that a new Plastic Hive Tyrant and Plastic Trygon will accompany the release of the book.  It is written by Robin Cruddace.

EDIT NOTE:  According to a new GW article the release of codex Tyranids brings new models “As you’ll read in Adam’s article, the new Codex features lots of new units - there will be three new plastic kits and three new metal models released alongside the Codex.” We’ll have to wait til closer to the launch for more news on them.

EDIT NOTE:  A new miniature was also announced for those who attended showed a new White Dwarf Subscription mini.  As you know that when you subscribe to white dwarf you have the option to pay a little more for a cool mini only available there.  Now i bet most people will disregard this next sentence when i reveal what it is but there is an official GW picture to back it up.  The new mini is none other than ….. a Squat.  Yes a Squat. Ok fine they call it “White Dwarf in Space” but its a squat people.  Squats were dwarfs in space for those of you who didn’t know.  Could this mean something is brewing for this army that was lost so long ago (i know Steve hopes it doesn’t).

Shown off is a fully painted Chaos Reaver Titan, another sculpt of the Lord of Change, some sort of new Eldar 1-maned Falcon (no image as of now), and a A Elysian buggy of some type.

Announcing Chaos Rising

“The first picture is of the “basic” kit. You can use it for your wolf guard or mix it with the rest of SM line to get BC, LF, GH and scouts. You can assemble 10 minis. It contains 44 heads, 28 shoulder pads, arms and weapons for the wolf scouts, thunder hammers, wolf claws, pelts, plasma guns and pistols, and a variety of SW specific accesories like knives, wolf tails, etc.

The second picture is Canis Wolfborn. Amazing rider, not so keen on the wolf.
The third depicts the WG terminators. An excellent kit containing storm bolters, assault cannon, heavy flamer, chainsaw, power fists, power swords, frostblade? frost axe? (don’t know the englist word name) 4 pairs of wolf claws and 4 pairs of thunder hammers and storm shields. And all that for the same price of a SM terminator squad. Hope it isn’t a typo.

And in the last we can see the already known wolf guard with wolf claws and Lukas el Tramposo (I think this is the Loki character)”

This November the Skaven will be clawing and scurrying their way across the Old World with renewed ferocity. As well as a new army book, there are plenty of new metal and plastic miniatures being released, so you’ll have a host of new war machines, monsters and characters to field alongside your classic favourites.
