The second Annual MotoFest presented by Troy Lee Designs returns to Glen Helen Raceway May 14–17, 2026 for four action-packed days of festival-style racing. Held the weekend before the Outdoor Pro Motocross Nationals start, MotoFest sets the stage for the start of the pro season in a massive way.

With the biggest prize purse in all of motocross, elite pro racers, amateur championship battles, and entertainment for the whole family, MotoFest delivers one of the most exciting race weekends of the year. A BREAKDOWN OF THE FOUR DAYS OF RACING

It all starts on Thursday with practice, divided by skill levels. Thursday before the AMA National series starts is historically when the factory riders show up at Glen Helen to dial in their final outdoor settings for the upcoming National season. It’s always a show.

Friday will see more pro practice in the morning followed by the $30,000 Stopwatch National with the first moto at 10:30 a.m. and the second moto at 12:30 p.m. Then, at 2:00 p.m., Glen Helen will open its 8-mile cross-country course for the first races of the National Grand Prix Championship, round 6. At 4:00 p.m., the crowd will be treated to the Baja Drags.

It takes everything your bike has to get to the top of Glen Helen’s steep hills, but coming down the 22-story Mt. Saint Helen downhill doesn’t require anything but nerves of steel.

Once the gate drops, the racers face a 70-mph charge to the steeply banked first turn and a series of right/left/right/left sweepers before going up and down the 22-story hills. The 30-minute-plus-one-lap motos will be grueling.

A full schedule of NGPC races will take to the track on Saturday with a break at 9:15 for the first moto of the $70,000 Motofest 250/450 Pro showcase. The second moto will then take place at 12:15 p.m. with more NGPC racing in between. In the meantime, dual-sport riders will set off for the Troy Lee “Great Escape Dual-Sport ride.”The action keeps on going into the evening with the AME Minicross at 4:00 p.m. and the Hell On Wheels Hillclimb will feature hooligans racing to the top of Mt. St. Helens on their outlandish rides.

MXA FANTASY LEAGUE: THE WINNER OF THE SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS SCORED 230 POINTS

The MXA Fantasy League wrapped up the 2026 Supercross season in Salt Lake City, and this week’s top score went to VicciL. The final round brought one last big night of racing, with the 450 championship coming down to the end and Ken Roczen finishing the job after a tight battle with Hunter Lawrence. In the 250 class, Cole Davies ended his East Coast championship season with the Showdown win, while Haiden Deegan closed out his 250 West title-winning year. Once the Salt Lake City scores were finalized, VicciL came out on top and earned this week’s prize from L.A. Sleeve: one resleeve for any two-stroke or four-stroke engine.

450 CLASS PREDICTIONS

This weeks picks were actually in favor of Hunter Lawrence.

In the 450 class at Salt Lake City, Ken Roczen was the top pick, but Chase Sexton took the main event win. Roczen still scored points for the lineup by finishing fifth, earning 18 fantasy points, but he missed the ten-point exact-pick bonus since he was selected to win. Hunter Lawrence was picked second, but he did not finish inside the top six, so he did not add points to the lineup. Cooper Webb was selected third and finished fourth, earning 19 fantasy points, but missed the exact-position bonus by one spot.

Eli Tomac was picked fourth, but he did not finish inside the top six, so he did not score points. Justin Cooper was selected fifth and finished second, adding 23 fantasy points, while Chase Sexton was picked sixth and delivered the win, earning 26 points. Overall, Salt Lake City was a mixed 450 round for this lineup. Four of the six picks scored points, but none of them landed in the exact correct position, leaving the lineup without any bonus points.

250 CLASS PREDICTIONS

Cole Davies did what many didn’t think was possible and beat Haiden Deegan in the final round.

In the 250 class at Salt Lake City, Haiden Deegan was the top pick, but Cole Davies took the win. Deegan still scored points for the lineup by finishing fourth, earning 19 fantasy points, but he missed the ten-point exact-pick bonus since he was selected to win. Cole Davies was picked second and delivered the win, adding 26 points, while Levi Kitchen was selected third and finished second, earning 23 points.

Max Anstie was picked fourth and finished third, giving the lineup 21 points, but missing the exact-position bonus by one spot. Ryder DiFrancesco was selected fifth and matched his finishing position, earning 18 points plus the ten-point bonus for 28 fantasy points. Max Vohland was picked sixth and also finished sixth, adding 17 points plus the exact-pick bonus for 27 points. Overall, the 250 picks were solid, with all six riders finishing inside the top six and two picks landing in the exact correct position.

It was a topsy-turvy day in the 450 class, all the major players showed up brimming with confidence, but the first to fall was Eli Tomac, who was clipped from behind in the air, which spun his bike around and Eli landed on his own footpeg.  He hobbled off, looking for all the world, like he had hurt the same hip that he hurt two weeks ago. He called it a day. Hunter would win the first 450 heat.

Hunter Lawrence (96) looked like the man with a plan after winning the first 450 heat race, but it just looked that way.

In the second 450 heat, Ken Roczen got the holeshot and lead, but spun out on the slick and hard dirt and laid his RM-Z450 down, Hunter Lawrence went on to win the second 450 heat, while Roczen was fourth.

In the 450 main, Hunter got the holeshot, but Ken bumped him in the first hairpin and took over the lead. Hunter, now in second, and getting closer to Ken Roczen, was distracted when Jorge Prado caught up to him. With Hunter thinking too much about Prado, he jumped off the track and re-entered while Prado passed him for second place. Hunter didn’t calm down and ended up pushing front wheel and went down on a steeply banked bowl turn. Hunter picked his bike up in a hurry and Justin Hill clipped the unmanned bike and it went down again. By this time Hunter was in seventh place, while Ken Roczen settled into a safe and sane pace—and ended up letting Chase Sexton, Jorge Prado and Justin Cooper pass him. Ken would continue to just ride the track, because he only needed to beat Hunter Lawrence to win the 2026 Supercross Championship (and didn’t care about anyone else). In fact, Roczen dropped back to fifth place.

Chase Sexton took the Salt Lake Supercross victory, technically his second win of the season, because Ken Roczen didn’t care about anybody other than Hunter Lawrence—so he let Sexton, Prado and Justin Cooper by in the fading laps.

Mario Edison Dye was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, in 1918. Dye was still a boy when his family moved to San Diego. Dye grew into manhood during the golden age of machinery. While getting a degree in Aeronautical Engineering at San Diego State, he was heavily involved in the hot rod movement and participated in lake runs on Southern California’s dry lake beds. When World War II broke out, Dye, 24, went to work designing waterproof manifolds that allowed Sherman tank engines to run under water. Later in the war, his aeronautical degree came in handy designing chin turrets for B-24 bombers. By war’s end, Edison Dye had 7500 employees under his charge.

When WWII ended, Dye opened a tour business, hosting motorcycle tours to the Isle of Man TT races and other continental events. While in Europe, he discovered motocross and the new breed of European motocross bikes that were unknown to American consumers. Dye decided that he would import these unusual two-stroke motocross bikes to America. He signed a deal with Husqvarna of Sweden to supply him with as many motorcycles as they could for the American market. They sold him nine bikes. Undaunted, Dye asked Malcolm Smith to test ride one of the Huskys. Malcolm hopped on it and disappeared over a hill. Malcolm didn’t come back until the Husqvarna was almost out of gas. Malcolm was sold.

That next year, Husqvarna allotted Edison 100 bikes. That number would increase a hundredfold by the end of Dye’s association with Husqvarna. Once Dye had convinced the Swedes to sell him bikes, he had to find some way to get American riders to buy them. Dye’s marketing plan would change the face of motorcycle racing in the United States. In 1966, Dye flew World Champion Torsten Hallman over to race a handful of select American races. Hallman won every one of them. The next year, 1967, Dye brought over Torsten Hallman, Arne Kring, Joel Robert, Roger DeCoster, Dave Bickers and Ake Johnson. He even hired Swedish GP and ISDT star Lars Larsson to move to America full-time to travel the country demonstrating the prowess of the Husky two-strokes by racing and winning wherever he went.

The success of Edison Dye’s traveling circus convinced him that America needed a professional motocross series, which led Dye to form the Inter-Am (International-American) motocross series. The sport blew up. It went big overnight, not just selling thousands of tickets, but 10,000 Husqvarnas a year. The AMA had no interest in the sport of motocross, but once they saw the crowds that Dye’s Inter-Am series was drawing (and the commercial potential of the sport), they muscled into Dye’s territory, counter-promoted against him, and used their infamous heavy-handed tactics to take over what Dye had built. The AMA did throw Edison Dye a bone by allowing him to promote Trans-AMA races under AMA sanction.

And it was in this role that Edison Dye, the founding father of American motocross, became an outcast. As hard as it may be to believe, less than five years after introducing motocross to America, Edison Dye was banned from the sport. His name, once spoken with reverence, was now used as a slur. Make no mistake about it, Dye’s banishment was well deserved as anyone who went to the 1974 St. Louis Trans-AMA race will attest to. What did Dye do? It rained in St. Louis that weekend. And Dye, who never really fit in with the motocross crowd with his impeccably styled three-piece suits, decided that if he held the Trans-AMA in the rain, he would lose a lot of money. But, if he canceled it on Sunday morning, he wouldn’t have to pay the AMA purse. Dye canceled the race, and every rider and spectator who had traveled on their own dime to Missouri cursed him.

Dye was banned and the AMA passed a rule that required race promoters to hand over the purse money the day before the event, and Edison Dye disappeared from the motocross scene. All that said, Edison Dye is solely responsible for motocross coming to America. It took a special kind of man to realize that you couldn’t wait for a sport to grow, you had to water it. If Dye hadn’t imported the bikes, brought the stars of the sport to demonstrate it and promoted the first-ever races, the sport would still be in the stone ages today.

In his later years, Dye was honored for his contribution and “The Father of American Motocross” passed away in Lemon Grove, California, on May 10th, 2007.  Edison would have been 108 years old today.

2026 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 17 OF 17)

The 250 class came together in Salt Lake City for the final East/West Showdown of the 2026 Supercross season, and it quickly turned into one of the most eventful races of the night. Haiden Deegan grabbed the holeshot, but Max Anstie moved into the lead early before Deegan responded and took control out front. Cole Davies soon worked his way into second and began closing the gap, setting up a direct battle between the East and West champions. Behind them, Cameron McAdoo and Seth Hammaker were locked in a hard fight before Hammaker made a mistake in the whoops, sending both riders down and out of the race. Up front, Davies kept the pressure on Deegan, eventually made the pass, and then pulled away after Deegan went down while trying to answer back. Deegan remounted but made another mistake in the sand, dropping him to fourth. Davies went on to take the win, with Levi Kitchen finishing second, Anstie third, Deegan fourth, and Ryder DiFrancesco rounding out the top five.

The 450 class brought the championship fight to a dramatic close in Salt Lake City. Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot, but Ken Roczen moved into the lead on the opening lap and immediately put himself in position to control the title fight. Lawrence stayed right on Roczen’s rear wheel through the early laps, while Jorge Prado and Chase Sexton began closing in behind them. As Prado got closer, Lawrence picked up the pace and started looking for a way around Roczen, knowing he could not afford to let another rider get between them. The race changed when Lawrence made a mistake and went off track, then went down later that same lap after over-jumping a rhythm section and tucking the front end. That dropped him back to seventh and gave Roczen the breathing room he needed. From there, Roczen managed the race with the championship in mind. Chase Sexton went on to take the win, with Justin Cooper second and Prado third, while Roczen brought it home fifth to secure the 2026 Supercross Championship.

The 250 East season was Cole Davies’ from the start, and as the rounds went on, he continued to prove he was the rider to beat. Seth Hammaker had the speed to keep the championship interesting and was one of the fastest riders in the class on multiple weekends, but Davies was the one who kept putting himself in the right position and taking care of business when it mattered. The biggest moment came in Philadelphia, where the conditions were tough, and the race had plenty of chaos, but Davies stayed composed and locked up the 250 East title with a win. Behind him, riders like Hammaker, Daxton Bennick, Coty Schock, and Nate Thrasher all had strong moments throughout the season, which made the class competitive from week to week. Davies then backed it all up in Salt Lake City during the East/West Showdown, going head-to-head with Haiden Deegan and coming out with the win. It was a strong way to finish the season and showed that Davies was not only consistent but also capable of winning when the pressure was at its highest.

Seth Hammaker was a warrior throughout the season.

The 450 season came down to Ken Roczen and Hunter Lawrence, and it stayed tight all the way to the final gate drop in Salt Lake City. Roczen had moments early in the year where he looked strong, but it was his late-season push that really changed the championship. He started stacking big results when it mattered most and put himself back in control of the red plate. Hunter Lawrence was right there the entire time and kept the pressure on, especially with his Denver win that cut the points gap down to just one heading into the finale. Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac and Chase Sexton all had their moments throughout the season as well, but by the time the series reached Salt Lake City, the title fight was clearly between Roczen and Lawrence. In the main event, Lawrence grabbed the holeshot, but Roczen moved into the lead early and put himself in position to control the championship. Lawrence stayed close until a mistake took him off track, then another crash dropped him back and gave Roczen the room he needed. Chase Sexton went on to win the race, but Roczen brought it home in the position he needed and walked away as the 2026 Supercross Champion.

Hunter Lawrence took the championship down to the very last race, and his persistence was respected.

Cooper Webb was fairly silent in the series but was able to remain third overall.

450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2026 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS – PRESENTED BY FXR

Presented by FXR Racing:  The 450 class heads into Salt Lake City with the championship coming down to the final round. Ken Roczen enters with the red plate, but Hunter Lawrence is only one point back after closing the gap in Denver. With the season ending tonight, there is no more room to manage points or wait for another opportunity. Roczen and Lawrence now line up with the title on the line, and whichever rider gets the better result will likely decide the championship.

Qualifying added even more intensity to the night, with Eli Tomac setting the fastest time at 49.065. Justin Hill was second quickest with a 49.188, while Hunter Lawrence was right behind in third with a 49.191. Chase Sexton and Cooper Webb rounded out the top five, putting several heavy hitters near the front of the field. Roczen qualified ninth with a 49.864, leaving him with work to do once the gate drops. With Tomac showing speed, Lawrence looking sharp, and Roczen trying to protect the red plate, the Salt Lake City finale is set up for a high-pressure 450 main event where every position could swing the championship.

450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS

Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot, but Ken Roczen wasted no time moving to the front on the opening lap. Jorge Prado settled into third with Chase Sexton close behind, while Roczen and Lawrence quickly became the focus of the race. In the early laps, both championship contenders looked composed. Roczen was not forcing anything out front, and Lawrence stayed tucked onto his rear wheel, waiting for the right opportunity without taking unnecessary risks.

As the laps continued, the pace at the front brought Prado back into the picture. He started to close in on the lead battle, and with Sexton not far behind either, Lawrence knew he could not afford to let another rider get between himself and Roczen. That forced Lawrence to pick up the intensity and begin pressing Roczen for the lead.

Then the race took a major turn. Lawrence made a mistake and ran off the track, costing himself valuable time. On the same lap, he over-jumped one of the rhythm sections, tucked the front end, and went down. That dropped him back to seventh and gave Roczen the breathing room he needed at the front.

From there, Roczen’s focus shifted from winning the race to winning the championship. He continued to control the situation, but as the laps wound down, he allowed Chase Sexton to move by and take the race win. Roczen eventually faded back to fourth, settling into a safe pace and protecting the points he needed. When the checkered flag flew and the dust cleared, Ken Roczen had done enough to secure the 2026 Supercross Championship.

Hunter Lawrence gave a valiant effort but some mistakes would have him ending up on the ground. He would still finish in second place overall respectively.

450 RACE RESULTS HEAT 2

In the second heat, Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot with Justin Barcia right behind him. Ken Roczen started around fifth but quickly worked his way forward, moving into third in the opening laps as he tried to keep himself in a safe position for the main event. The race took a major turn early when Eli Tomac went down on the first lap and was unable to finish, putting his status for the rest of the night in question.

Roczen continued to move forward and eventually took over second, settling in behind Lawrence rather than forcing the issue too early. With the championship on the line, it looked like he was choosing the smart approach and avoiding any unnecessary risk. However, a mistake later in the race sent Roczen to the ground and dropped him back to fourth by the finish.

Lawrence stayed clean out front and went on to take the heat race win, gaining a little more momentum heading into the night show. Roczen still transferred through, but the mistake added another layer of pressure to an already tight championship battle.

Eli Tomac went down hard and would not finish the race.

Malcolm Stewart stayed consistent and was able to finish third.

450 RACE RESULTS HEAT 1

Jorge Prado led the way in the opening laps with Chase Sexton and Justin Cooper right behind him. Prado looked solid out front and was doing a good job managing the early pressure, but Sexton was not letting him get comfortable. Lap after lap, Sexton continued to close in and search for a spot to make a move, keeping the pressure high while Prado tried to hold his lines and protect the lead.

As the race continued, Sexton began to turn up the intensity. He looked strong through the rhythm sections and kept inching closer until he finally found his opportunity after the finish line section. Once Sexton made the pass, he was able to take control of the race and start building a little breathing room out front.

Behind him, the battle for second started to heat up as Justin Cooper began closing in on Prado. Cooper pushed hard in the final laps and looked for any opening he could find, but Prado stayed composed and defended the position well. Cooper kept him honest all the way to the finish, but Prado was able to hang on and secure second, with Sexton taking the win after making the key pass earlier in the race.

Jorge Prado grabbed another holeshot and finished second in the heat.

250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2026 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS

The 250 class comes together in Salt Lake City for the final East/West Showdown of the 2026 Supercross season. With both championships already decided, Haiden Deegan and Cole Davies enter the finale with their respective titles secured, but the showdown still gives both divisions one last chance to prove where they stack up against each other. Even without a championship on the line, Salt Lake City has plenty of interest with the East and West riders sharing the same gate.

Qualifying showed just how competitive the combined field will be. Seth Hammaker set the pace with the fastest time overall, logging a 48.871 to put himself at the top of the board. Deegan was second quickest with a 49.113, showing that even with the West title already wrapped up, he is still pushing for the win. Levi Kitchen was third with a 49.667, followed by Nate Thrasher and Cole Davies to round out the top five. With Hammaker leading the East riders, Deegan still right there for the West, and riders like Kitchen, Thrasher, Davies, Daxton Bennick and Lux Turner all showing speed, the final showdown is set up to be one of the better 250 races of the season.

250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS

Cole Davies showed everyone that he has what it takes to dethrone Haiden Deegan.

Haiden Deegan grabbed the holeshot, but Max Anstie wasted no time moving into the lead early. Cole Davies settled into third, with Cameron McAdoo and Seth Hammaker close behind as the front group began to take shape. Deegan quickly went to work on Anstie and applied pressure through the opening laps before making the pass and taking control out front.

A few laps later, Davies moved into second and started to close in on Deegan, who had built roughly a two-second lead. Behind them, the battle between McAdoo and Hammaker began to heat up, but things took a major turn in the whoops. Hammaker made a mistake and went over the bars, which also collected McAdoo, sending both riders down hard and ending their race.

Back up front, Davies continued to cut into Deegan’s lead and eventually got close enough to make a move. Davies made the pass, but Deegan immediately countered and kept the fight alive. The battle intensified from there, with Davies making an aggressive move that nearly put Deegan on the ground before finally breaking away at the front.

Deegan tried to respond and close the gap back down, but while attempting to make the pass back on Davies, he went down. He remounted quickly, only to make another mistake in the sand section that dropped him farther back. That opened the door for Levi Kitchen to move into second, while Anstie settled into third. Out front, Davies never looked back once he had a clear track and went on to take the win in an eventful East/West Showdown.

250 RACE RESULTS HEAT 1 WEST

Haiden Deegan grabbed the holeshot and ran away.

Haiden Deegan grabbed the holeshot, and that immediately made things difficult for the rest of the field. Kayden Minear, Cameron McAdoo, and Levi Kitchen slotted in behind him and began battling for position, but Deegan wasted no time opening up a gap out front.

McAdoo looked strong early and worked his way into second, putting himself in position to chase after the leader. By that point, though, Deegan had already stretched the lead to nearly five seconds and was in full control of the race. Kitchen then moved into third and started applying pressure to McAdoo, keeping the battle for second tight through the closing laps.

McAdoo was able to hold on for the runner-up spot, with Kitchen finishing third. Out front, Deegan was never seriously challenged once he got a clean track, riding away from the field and controlling the race from start to finish.

Cameron McAdoo was grabbed second after battling forward.

Ryder Difrancesco had a bad start and would not make the main event.

250 RACE RESULTS HEAT 1 EAST

Seth Hammaker hung on for the first heat win.

Landen Gordon grabbed the holeshot with Nick Romano and Seth Hammaker right behind him, while Cole Davies and Nate Thrasher rounded out the top five. Gordon looked strong early and did a solid job holding the lead, but Hammaker quickly went to work. He first made the pass on his teammate Romano, then set his sights on Gordon out front.

Davies was also moving forward and refused to let the lead group get away. He closed in on Romano and made the pass through the whoops, putting himself into position to challenge for the lead. Up front, Hammaker continued to pressure Gordon and eventually found his way by in the whoops. As that battle unfolded, Davies was able to close the gap, work his way around Gordon and move into second. He pushed hard in the closing laps to try and catch Hammaker, but the charge came just a little too late.

After the holeshot, Landen Gordon was able to lead multiple laps.

Nick Romano was up front but slid back a couple of spots.

450 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 2 GROUP A

Ken Roczen finished ninth in the session.

In the second session, Justin Hill was once again quick early, moving to the top of the board as the 450 riders started to settle in. Ken Roczen looked like he was trying to put together a few fast laps, but a couple of small mistakes kept him from improving his position. Chase Sexton then found another strong lap and jumped into second for the session, keeping the front of the field extremely tight.

The pace across the top ten was incredibly close, with every rider inside the 49-second range. As the track continued to break down, traction became harder to find and the riders had to be much more precise, especially through the whoops and slicker sections. Hunter Lawrence eventually moved into second and was only a fraction off Hill’s time, adding even more intensity to the session.

In the closing laps, Eli Tomac put together the lap everyone was chasing and moved to the top of the board. With the track getting more difficult and the times still dropping, Tomac ended qualifying as the fastest rider in the 450 class.

Justin Hill was looking really good and ended up second fastest.

Justin Cooper was the only rider jumping through the whoops and that put him in a good spot.

450 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 1 GROUP A

Eli Tomac was back up to pace as he topped the list in the first qualifier.

In the 450 class, the session opened with Justin Hill jumping to the top of the board early, but the position did not last long. Ken Roczen quickly moved into the top spot before Hunter Lawrence answered with a fast lap of his own. Chase Sexton was also near the front in the opening laps, slipped back slightly as the times started coming in, then responded by moving himself back up into third.

The leaderboard continued to shuffle almost every lap as the top riders found their rhythm on a demanding Salt Lake City track. Eli Tomac eventually moved into the lead and knocked Lawrence off the top, while Malcolm Stewart put in a strong lap to climb into third and push Roczen back to fifth. Lawrence then fired back and reclaimed the top position, but Tomac answered again with another fast lap to move back to the front.

The pace at the top was extremely close, with the top four riders all dipping into the 49-second range while Roczen sat right on the edge with a 50.112. With the championship pressure on Roczen and Lawrence, every lap carried a little extra weight, but it was Tomac who ended the session fastest so far. The 450 class is already showing how tight the racing could be once the gate drops tonight.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2026 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS

Round seventeen of the 2026 Supercross season heads to Salt Lake City for the final round, where the 250 class comes back together for an East/West Showdown. Both championships have already been decided, with Haiden Deegan locking up the West title and Cole Davies securing the East crown, but that does not take away from the excitement of having both divisions on the same gate.

Salt Lake City gives the top riders from each coast one final chance to measure themselves against each other before the season wraps up. Deegan enters with the West title already in hand, while Davies comes in as the newly crowned East champion, making this showdown one of the most interesting races of the year. With riders like Levi Kitchen, Seth Hammaker, Daxton Bennick, and the rest of the front-runners all looking to finish strong, the final round still carries plenty of energy. The championships may be settled, but the East/West Showdown gives everyone one last opportunity to make a statement.

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 2 WEST DIVISION

Kayden Minear rides in the top ten in qualifying.

Once again, Haiden Deegan and Lux Turner were the first riders to set the pace as the West riders rolled into their second session. Deegan continued to push lap after lap, trying to lower his time, but the overall pace was slightly slower compared to the first session as the track continued to break down.

Levi Kitchen and Hunter Yoder both found time as the session went on, moving themselves into second and third on the board for the session, though it did not change much in the overall order. One of the more impressive things to watch was Deegan attacking the whoops in fifth gear, especially considering they came right out of a sharp right-hand corner. It showed just how committed he was through one of the toughest sections of the track.

By the end of the session, the order and lap times stayed fairly close to what we saw earlier in the day, with Deegan still setting the standard and the rest of the West riders trying to close the gap.

Hunter Yoder picked up the pace in the second session.

Max Anstiew has been progressing each week and is looking for a great result this afternoon.

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 2 EAST DIVISION

Nate Thrasher is looking good in the dry conditions.

The lap times looked like they were going to slow down in the second session as the track continued to deteriorate, but that did not end up being the case for long. The ruts were getting deeper, the whoops were breaking down, and the track was becoming more technical, but the top riders still found a way to drop the pace.

Cole Davies was one of the first riders to strike with a fast lap, putting himself near the top early. Derek Kelley then put in an impressive lap of his own, jumping up to second overall at the time and showing strong speed as the session continued to build. Nate Thrasher and Daxton Bennick soon responded, moving into second and third and pushing Kelley back slightly as the leaderboard started to change.

As the track continued to evolve, Davies was able to move himself back into the top three, but the biggest lap came from Seth Hammaker. Even with the track getting rougher, Hammaker found another level and broke into the 48-second range, going quicker than what we saw in the first session. By the time the checkered flag came out, Hammaker remained the fastest rider in the East division and continued to show that he had the pace to be a major threat once racing got underway.

Landen Gordon was consistent lap after lap.

Daxton Bennick had a top-five result in his session.

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 1 EAST DIVISION

Speed has not been an issue for Seth Hammaker this season.

When the East Division hit the track, it did not take long for the familiar names to move toward the top of the board. Seth Hammaker, Cole Davies, and Devin Simonson were quick early, but as the session went on, the track began to break down, and the lap times started to slow slightly. The whoops became more cupped out, making them one of the toughest sections on the track and forcing riders to stay precise.

As the session continued, Henry Miller put in a strong ride and moved himself up into fourth, which was an impressive spot for the privateer rider. Nate Thrasher also found speed late in the session, jumping into second and placing himself ahead of Cole Davies. Hammaker, however, remained the rider to beat and held on to the top spot through the final laps.

Cole Davies was seen making some bike changes throughout the session.

One of the more consistent riders is Coty Schock, who always puts himself near the front.

As the session got underway and the lap times started coming in, Haiden Deegan was once again quick to rise to the top of the board. Lux Turner, who has found a lot of speed in recent weeks, opened the session in second ahead of Ryder DiFrancesco and Levi Kitchen.

It did not take long for DiFrancesco to move into second, but that position changed again when Kitchen worked his way past and took over the spot. The whoops are proving to be especially difficult today, leading straight into a sand section and forcing riders into mistakes. Turner continued to hang around the front, holding fourth for much of the session before climbing back into third before the checkered flag. It was an impressive qualifying effort for him, and with the track already creating mistakes, the day is setting up for some strong racing.

Levi Kitchen pushed hard in the closing laps but was a fraction off the pace of Deegan.

Ryder DiFrancesco was smooth as always, placing fourth early.
