The bike is now at it’s final version, I don’t think I will change anything from here. It’s time to print it and put it on the wall to enjoy for the rest of eternity

And this here is my current project, the task was to make a room and I decided to make a futuristic apartment from the year 2050. A lot has changes in 40 years and in this project there’s also a video clip soon to come. the clip is going to be a tour around the apartment but in a very certain way… (No spoilers here )

This one shows the workstation corner in the apartment. The place belongs to an artist and so this is his working corner. 3 Working screens and one monitor for video editing. The computer is a Core x512 5.3Thz with 3 operating systems, therefore it’s a hybrid machine. Wouldn’t you love to have something like that?

Near the workstation, there’s a holographer that’s used for 3D sculpting in software like Zbrush.

The living room is an entertainment center by itself. the glass wall in this house has projection glass technology, which means it can project touch interface images upon itself. Currently the window has the movies control dial, a facebook chat and the applications dashboard. On the rug there’s a Cleaning Bot from Bosch and on the table there’s an iPad X (projection glass technology as well )

And that’s it for now.. I think… Hopefully my teachers tomorrow would say lots of bad stuff so I can work harder and get this idea better. You can say something too, and are mostly welcome! And until next time,

After the flight, our trip takes place in an electrical train (Not sure if it has another name though). This kind of train runs neither on gas, nor on steam nor on pedaling power, but on electricity. Do you have such kind of trains in your place of living?

These devices must touch the power cables in order to power the train up so it can travel. I must say this way of transportation is pretty quiet and pleasant to the person.

Inside the train it’s very clean and quiet as well. The ticket lady passes through the wagons to check if someone doesn’t have a ticket, if such a human found, he is being thrown out of the train as it goes (Maybe I kid, maybe I don’t )

For the first time in my life I got to see them trees called Birches. These trees seem to be present in most of Russian forests and that’s a lot of trees.

After a while, we arrive in the center of Moscow. Unlike my neck of the wood, this city is most industrial. Commercials, architecture, subway, tramway, you name it! By the way, the bus on the right runs also on electricity. It’s fed from the electrical wires that run through all of the city so no need in gas and that means – Cleaner & calmer way of transportation.

Russian cars are everywhere as well. Unlike The Diablo I failed to catch on camera due to it’s “beyond the speed of sound acceleration”, this car is called Jiguli and is more simple and popular since the older times of Russia. T’was fun to see one of those

Tis be a statue of one of the most famous if not the famous poets, singers and artists in Russia, Vladimir Wisotsky. The tea might have been named after him, but I’m not sure about that

And this is the movie theater Russia, named after… aw you know!..

Lunch was pretty good that day as Russian sweets are awesome! We had the pancakes at a certain place that we found. The place had great music, something like American 80’s style, designed in a modern fashion and had awesome food and ice cream…

Right near the theater is the statue of Alexander Sergeyivich Pushkin, who was a poet, and is considered to be the greatest poet of all times.

After a day or so, we went for a visit to the Moscow Kremlin.

The Moscow Kremlin is one of the biggest sight seeing in Russia. The Kremlin used to be the wall of Moscow a long time ago, but then the city got bigger and the Kremlin stayed inside the city.

And this be Lenin’s grave. Stalin used to be berried here as well, but then they decided nahhhh… and moved him to a farther location.

This be the main tower in Kremlin the clock tower, and the guy in the green shirt is someone who refused to leave the shot cause he liked the place so much…

And this place full of cash is where people used to lose their heads because the Tsar said so.

Afterwards there was a guards changing ceremony at which the new guards march to the posts raising their feet to 90 degrees angle and eventually switching with the old guard. From here it seems that the new guard from behind is kicking the other new guard’s butt (literally speaking), but I’m sure I’m wrong .

And this is Marshall Jukov who is considered to be the one who saved Moscow from the Germans. As it seems, he used the force against them…

I personally found the architecture of Moscow to be very beautiful, almost like the ladies in it…

And subway is fascinating as well! Be method of transportation ever. There’s even a timer hanging at the train tunnel that says how long would it take for the next train to arrive, and trains usually arrive at most every 3 minutes. If I had such method of transportation to my college I would have more tome to work at home

The Abrastsov theater is also an interesting sight seeing. There’s this clock on the theater wall that releases an animal every hour and at 12 o’clock all the animals come out. Still apparently the clock isn’t this well kept cause the animal were once making their animal noises and now they don’t and there also was music in the background and now there isn’t. Bummer, but still interesting to see

Biggest super market in Moscow, sells everything and anything that you would enjoy eating. Also designed not bad, now here’s an idea for a 3D project…

Dinner! (Finally, you must be thinking) Dinner was at a great place called Menza which is a Japanese restaurant. Apparently there are lots of Japanese restaurants in Moscow and they all make original and awesomely good food. Enjoyed every bite

The evening began with some Miso soup like it’s popular in Japan and continued with some Sushi, why not

Russian original method of rolling the Sushi is not making it in sea weed but covering it with Ikra (Caviar). Original and not bad at all

I found a good taste for Kvas in Moscow. It is a national Russian soda drink (that wants to compete with Pepsi?)

And this place is called the library of memory and contains records on people who died during the war. Folks can find info on their relatives here who did heroic deeds.

And just when we thought it couldn’t be hotter (Since of course it’s Russia, one of the hottest countries in the world) it began raining! Surprise…
That day we arrived home wet and everyday since we grabbed umbrellas when left home, but as you know, that means no rain!

Personally I like rain better than heat in the summer…

So, I believe that’s it for now until next time in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Finland & Norway… I’ll be visiting a lot of places, so stick around for some footage on great locations…

Continuing from my previous stage of progress on my current projects, my Harley Davidson V-Rod is almost done.
Just received the review of my teachers in college and to be honest I expected more negative points but didn’t get much, I guess if it works, it works

Regarding my Busuto Shoujo, it still needs more work in several places. I think you can put your finger on it but I believe I’ll be done soon one way or another…

The girl’s hero name is Busuto Shoujo. She is a sword master with electronic speed boots that have 2 modes, the inline mode and the boost mode.
Like the title implies, inline mode is for simple inline skating, while the boost mode mode activates the energy reactor on the side of her boots and gives her high-speed ground dashing. Also, the boots are built by her engineer friend to perform the ultrasonic mode and that’s when she can accelerate the boost mode and break the speed of sound, but it only holds of about 10 seconds so it should be kept for special occasions only

Anyhows, me-self will continue working on this project of mine in a while and developing the whole idea and the story behind it, but now I need to concentrate on other projects in my animation studies, speaking of which…

That would be my Harley Davidson bike that I’m working on in LightWave, it’s not ready yet as you see, but I will be finishing up the modeling work very soon, after which it’s texturing lighting and rendering, which if I mentioned I just might try doing with my new renderbox which I finished, but haven’t published the story behind it, shame on me! :/

As the first assignment the teacher gave us to make several heads out of a simple sphere.
Mine are not the best work but I ‘m working on it and shall improve with a little or more time

Zbrush is a very fun tool for making sculptures with incredible amount detail. It’s made a specially for artists and built in a way of simulating real sculpting studio.
As for now I need to compile an idea for my course project, I’m thinking to use one of my “stuck in the head” ideas and finally make it happen.

So, often I end up coming to the college before it even opens, and the place that saves me from boredom is this one!

Metuka, a really nice and stylish cafe of sweet cakes and cakes and sandwiches and coffee and stuff. If there’s anything that would keep me from leaving a new place is a special dish that I like, and nothing fancy even… It’s looks like a simple sandwich which I order coffee or a cold drink with, but the taste… the taste is something else! The bread is totally fresh, some veggies, salmon fish and there we got one simple, yet delicious dish! Itadakimasu!

The place is well designed, feels cozy and warm and you can pick your seat between a fair sized red table or the bar from where out have a view out to the street. Also, during these times when it’s raining, it feels even warmer

Enjoying my visit here every Thursday and at the end I arrive before everyone else for the lessons and  after I return home the weekend begins with some good Anime

This would be my first anime review. I watch lots of anime of all shapes and sizes. I watch those that are running now and those that ended a long time ago, those that have large robots, those that have swords, those that have lots of philosophy, funny stuff, ecchi… You name it! (for more details check out my anime list).

So, today I’d like to review “Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!” (wow, that’s a long name).
First let me begin by saying it’s an ecchi anime, and continue by saying it’s awesome. The story tells about a perverted high school student (Takanashi, Shuusuke) who is into erotic magazines and stuff like that. He has a little sister (Takanashi, Nao – voiced by Eri Kitamura) who is also perverted (not in the magazine business but in her own ways) and tries to never miss a chance to put her hands on him. She’s smarter than him, she always one-two steps ahead of him, she’s sneaky and she knows how to make him do what she wants. One day Nao finds in her brother’s room an old album with photos of her family but as she finds out, she’s not in any of this photos, What’s going on here?

But Nao is not the only girl (being his sister too) who is after Shuusuke. Along the road joins the girl (Tsuchiura, Iroha) who Shuusuke used to play doctor with when he was a little, but not so innocent, boy. Now, that girl is back and things get more complicated and even so complicated that Shuusuke has to quit his club… And what would a good little sister do in such a case? Spy on her brother to see what’s up, of course And if 2 girl characters is not enough, in the 5th episode another girl character joins the story and like the previous 2, she has her own theme with Shuusuke (but here the spoilers are off… JUST WATCH IT! ). And that’s how the story rolls.

The character design in this one is unique. Nao has a shorter hair than I’d have expected from a main girl character in a story like that but it’s been now to episode 5 and by my count it does it’s job good Additionally, the character design is different from other anime is several ways, tell me if you can put your finger on it and it somehow reminds me of a character design in Special A, again. you tell me why if you know…

So the story rolls and Oniichan gets into weird situations all along, this anime is funny, ecchi, hentai and original in it’s way, I watched the 5th episode half an hour ago and I’m going to wait for the next one next week.

Well well well, it looks I got to continue the “Stuff of this Week” series after all, although probably late by a few months… Or how long has it been after the previous article? Anyway, this week was pretty busy with all kinds of doings and deeds and stuff. At the beginning of this month it finally began raining (Yata!) There is no actual winter in my neck of the woods so when it’s at least raining I pretty much wanna thank whoever up there is doing this.

Primarily, I was working on exercises for my animation studies at the IAC animation college, some of which were a twinning exercise, where I was given the main key frames and had to make the rest using my light table or my wacom, which I used both. “Blob Excited” is how I called it…

Before that leaded my project for free animation on the subject of dreams that I called “A Musical Matter” and with all these tasks I kinda assumed the daily (or nightly) routine of Do-Eat-Sleep, yeah I know, sounds like a way for one’s torture but if you wanna make progress, obviously you gotta keep doing it!

My college is located somewhere in the heart of Tel Aviv, it’s fun to take a walk there at recesses. There’s all kind of feed places and interesting stuff there, a specially when it’s not hot… Like now!

You know those warning signs that warn you about something important but the way they look gives you the easiest chance to make fun of ‘em? While waiting at the train station on my way to college, I noticed this one… What does it mean? Maybe you could shade some light on the subject? (No back-flipping Matrix-style on the railway.. right?)

Besides funny signs I notice for the million’s time there are so interesting things to notice all around you if you look… For example, who is the more intense reader in the photo?

Previously to the rain (Sorry I go beck all of the sudden, but no one said the timeline is linear) There was Christmas, and my favorite holyday in the year, I had a tree and everything and also attended a meetup with friends…

You might recognize the starring guy in the photo as the starring guy in our latest movie project as long as other previously mad movies, that hopefully will be attended to soon :’-(
Also thanks to all of you for all the supporting comments about that stuff, now we know we can make it happen!

Aside from all that, there’s a lot of new anime came out that I immediately attended to (Check out my Anime List) like Oni Chan(…), Beelzebub, Freezing & Gosick… I need to keep my material fresh since I decided I wanna become eventually an anime artist XD. Also, apparently they started to release anime based now Marvel stories, first the done Iron-Man, which came out pretty awesome considering they inserted the Japanese factor in it while the original story is based on the American one, of course. And now the are doing Wolverine (Which is no less awesome!)

While writing this article I just came up with an idea for a new web experience, multi-links! A single link that splits in a few sub-links to navigate the person browsing before he even clicks, saves space on the page so the content looks more organized and and gives an easier way of thinking while navigating to the location you’d like to go… What do you think?

I went a bit back to gaming… Oh yeah! Reinstalled some of the games I used to play and like very much like Mirror’s Edge and Tomb Raider and tried some new ones for me like Assassin’s Creed and Crysis, for which, I reinstalled my SLi setup Got me now 2 x Nvidia GeForce 9500GT – One for rendering the 3D and the other for PhysX calculations to maximize the gaming experience! Couldn’t use them both for rendering the 3D because otherwise Photoshop doesn’t work hehe

Also submitted my setup to Workstation Setups… Check it out! Mine is not the best setup there, but I still make my best use of it and proud of it very much…

After all that, I reinstalled my PC in 64bit Windows 7, cause I’ll need my workstation to work in optimum efficiency for when I’ll start working on the really heavy projects of editing, effects and 3D and stuff (Can’t wait, by the way) and now I can’t finally run Premiere & AfterFX CS5 which dammed the x64 system. Now I can see why, it actually renders my video trice as fast! So cool!…
With that added 2 more Gigs of RAM… What’s left is to get a new wireless keyboard and mouse and 2 new flat LCD screens (Or 3?)

So, what else… what else… For some reason, I just couldn’t remove from my head the sound and the look of the “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” Trailer, this week… The movie is, how you say it… what’s the word? – Way Awesome! so I guess that’s the reason, and maybe I’ll watch the movie again in a while, haven’t watched a movie because of all the new daily routine thing… But for now, here we go:
