Every single day is a special day if you think so however, the New Year day has its own meaning. Looking back to year 2068 we may have went through hard phases, done numerous mistakes and may have been foolish. However, now we must think wonderful times are ahead. Moreover, we may have beautiful memories to cherish all our life, wonderful feelings to express and live. Now its New Year It reminds me of poem by William Arthur Ward

“Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be

You see, I was made to do this, I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong,

Even though one day I know I’ll be gone. I’m actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying I hate
seeing you sad.

16th march 2012, Today it’s new iPad release day, I got one hands on from apple store, Reading. It’s wifi only model with 64 GB storage without 4G as here in uk till now there is no support for 4G. Anyway I thought wifi only model as best suitable for me, as I am planning to tether with my iPhone data.

Features of new iPad

1. Ultra-high-resolution Retina display
If there is one feature that will get people to upgrade their handheld devices, it’s eye candy. The new iPad has plenty of weight in this category thanks to its new Retina display which doubles the pixel count of the current Apple tablet to an astonishing 2048 x 1536 resolution. In case you don’t feel like doing the math, that’s over a million pixels higher than a 1080p HDTV, and it’s all crammed into a 9.7″ screen.
The new display, while very impressive, isn’t quite as big of a jump as the iPhone 3G was to the iPhone 4, but it retains the Retina namesake nonetheless. For owners of the original Apple tablet as well as the iPad 2, there’s no question that this is one of the most compelling features when considering an upgrade.

2. Apple finally goes for 4G
When the iPhone 4S was revealed in 2011, the lack of 4G LTE support was vexing to many iPhone devotees. Sure, 3G service is speedy compared to a regular cellular connection, but with speeds that rival home broadband, 4G is clearly a mile ahead. With the new iPad, Apple finally jumps in the 4G LTE pool, and tablet junkies should definitely take notice.
With an ecosystem built around apps, social networking, and constant connectivity, the bump up to 4G speeds is a welcome addition. And given that both AT&T and Verizon have invested huge amounts of money in their LTE infrastructure, now is the perfect time to take advantage of it.

3. 5-megapixel iSight lens
Of all the features that Apple added between the original iPad and the iPad 2, none was more of a head scratcher than the rear-facing camera. At less than a megapixel, it didn’t impress anyone, and iPad fans who already had smartphones in their pockets saw little reason for the added camera to even exist.
The new iPad changes things by boasting a 5-megapixel rear-facing lens, 1080p video recording capability, automatic video stabilization, face recognition, and auto-adjusting focus and white balance. Now when you see someone taking a photo with their new iPad, you won’t have a reason to laugh at them.

4. A5X processor adds muscle
The iPad 2 was no slouch in terms of processing power, but the new iPad completely blows it out of the water nonetheless. With the A5X — an upgraded version of the A5 chip found in the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S — Apple’s new tablet boasts four times as much graphics processing might as its predecessor. The added power will be put to good use now that the slate has twice the pixels to render and a whole new world of high-resolution apps and games.

5. Voice dictation is here, even if Siri isn’t
Unfortunately, Apple didn’t see fit to bring the iPhone 4S’s virtual assistant, Siri, to the new iPad. Nevertheless, one of the snarky A.I.’s neatest tricks — the ability to dictate emails and text — has found its way to the new tablet anyway, and fans of barking at their smartphones couldn’t be happier.

A new microphone icon now appears at the bottom of the new iPad’s software keyboard. Once pressed, you can simply talk instead of typing, and the device will do its best to convert your words into on-screen text. It’s a rather cool feature, but just make sure you’re alone when using it, or you may get weird looks from subway patrons as you carry on a conversation with your tablet.

Update: I changed my mind and go for the 32GB with 4G instead of 64GB wifi only. As I thought I din’t find tethering handy while on the go.
Update: I need to exchange my iPad for third time as it got some dead pixel and dust below the glass. Apple employees are so nice that they easily exchanged my defected iPad for three time.

Google has marked the 101st anniversary of the birth of the origami grandmaster Akira Yoshizawa with a new doodle.

The search engine giant dedicated the doodle to pay tribute to the Japanese-born Yoshizawa, with letters in the doodle turned into paper butterflies representing the art form, made popular by Yoshizawa.

Yoshizawa was born in 1911 to dairy farming parents but moved to Tokyo when he was just 13 where he started working in a tool factory.

In his early 20s, he was promoted to a technical draftsman and used origami, a skill he had acquired as a child, as a tool to teach younger employees basic geometry.

Yoshizawa left the factory in the mid-1930s to pursue his passion for art and, for more than two decades, lived in poverty selling preserved fish door-to-door. But in 1951, a Japanese magazine commissioned him to fold the 12 signs of the Japanese zodiac to illustrate its next issue which catapulted him on to the international stage.

His work has since been exhibited around the world and he has published more than a dozen books on the art form.

According to his own estimation made in 1989, he created more than 50,000 models, of which only a few hundred designs were diagrammed in his 18 books.

Yoshizawa died from complications caused by pneumonia at a hospital in his home town of Ogikubo, Tokyo, in March 2005.

New operating system iOS 5.1 released for the iPhone and iPad on 7th March. As I am being the iOS user  and app developer for more than 2 years, I love the each and every updates released by apple for its device. The exciting thing about the apple is that it always bring awesome features with its software update. The cool thing I got to see is the camera icon just right to the ‘slide to unlock’ which can be open by up sliding  the camera icon. This feature  is to take photos and video without unlocking. With this iOS 5.1 update the whole system is amazyingly fast, as I have tested it with my iPhone 4,  it’s much more faster then earlier iOS version. Many thanks for the update.

Today 8th March it’s International Women’s Day. The event, born of the socialist movement in the United States the early 1900s, has spread across the world in the century since.

But the day looks very different across the globe, much like the differences in the lives of women worldwide. Here’s how the International Women’s Day Celebrated By Google with it’s google doodle.

The special day is on Thursday, March 8th and there is a web site devoted for it at internationalwomensday.com. It was originally named International Working Women’s Day and always is celebrated on March 8th. It was actually first observed on February 28, 1909. In Russia in 1965, it was the first time a country made the day a non working day.

Easy way to create Email signature in Gmail with images and HTML

That is by straight enabling some features in google lab Canned Responses and Inserting images.

First you need to go to settings and lab, enable canned responses and Inserting images.

• Just go to compose mail, there you can see Canned Responses just below Subject field and insert image icon on formating bar.
• Next create your signature as you want. To include images go to the image icon in formating bar where you can upload the image from your computer or you can give the link, after finishing  your desired email signature save it using Canned Responses giving some meaningful name.
• Now any time you compose new email you can just go to canned responses and insert the signature.
• You can create multiple email signature as you need.

HTML email signature is not automatically included when you send email, this is the tricks which can be done as email signature. Every time when you compose the email you need to insert the signature through Canned responses selecting the desired signature.

write short articles quickly

When you are at University, college or even if you’re a freelancer writer there are multiple types of work which you could be asked to complete. With essays and dissertations being prime examples of such, you might also be involved with a student publication which asks you to compose short articles relatively quickly. If your profession is as a freelance writer, creating short articles might be what you complete on a daily basis. Performing a basic spell check often results in the quality of the article being improved and this only takes a few seconds to complete.

Listen to music

This might seem an odd suggestion especially as it was mentioned earlier that procrastination is not recommended but listening to music has been known to help many writers work to deadlines. Maybe the latest garage or house tunes might not be desirable at all but classical music has a calming effect when composing work. It is surprising to read about how many writers have created excellent short articles when listening to Mozart, Beethoven and Sibelius. Writing in silence is an odd idea to many. If they have music playing this often means that they can focus on completing the job in hand, rather than being distracted by a random sound that is created by the environment which they are in.

Stay hydrated

Helping to stimulate the body can be difficult especially when several short articles need to be composed in a relatively short amount of time. Having a drink nearby so that the thought of thirst does not distract you is highly recommended. Whether you choose a hot or cold beverage, there is a very strong chance that the article could be completed within an even shorter period of time than originally planned.
