RIP Whitney Houston

Today we lost a queen. Whitney Houston, one of the greatest singers of all time, passed away suddenly aged 48 in her Beverly Hills hotel room. We do not know the circumstances surrounding her death and can only speculate as to the cause, but we can celebrate her life and talent.

This is one of my favorite Whitney songs, and anyone who has been in love can relate to the lyrics.

The Analog Africa compilation series returns to Benin to bring you Le Super Borgou de Parakou ‘The Bariba Sound’

Analog Africa was set up by Samy Ben Redjeb to release African music from the 70′s. Music with a twist that you didn’t expect to hear from African artists. The latest CD is out in March and features Bariba and Dendi linguistic folklore, alongside Islamic-influenced melodies, fused with Soul, Pachanga, Breakbeats, Rumba and Afro-Beat.
