Commentor 1: I really enjoyed your video. I absorbed so many thoughts and ideas at such a short span (execution was excellent). We really experienced a phenomenal information revolution with the internet. It just opened flood gates to so much information. The internet had also saved us all so much time. If you are old enough to remember how we used to conduct research, you’ll know what I mean. We now only have to rethink of the way we find the information we need, but that isn’t a very difficult thing.

Nowadays, even though solutions have been found, the problem regarding the storage of numerous data has never been really solved. Technology has managed to minimize this problem by making USB devices which have larger storage capacity than the usual ones. But a breakthrough to technology has made the possibility of a possible permanent solution to storage problems in sight.

Encarta online encyclopedia, a website wherein students can get information for their researches, is planned to be closed by Microsoft. The big US Software Company announced that on October 30 of this year they will turn off all Encarta websites, except in Japan, whose termination period is on the last day of December.

According to Microsoft, “The category of traditional encyclopedias and reference material has changed. People today seek and consume information in considerably different ways than in years past.”
