December 2024 - some highlights

Y5s/K Latin ( and some Ancient Greek!)

We have enjoyed exploring the narrative details of the mythology of Asclepius, the ancient Greek healer. His story emphasizes the ancient belief in snakes as creatures of exceptional wisdom, able to intervene in human life and even to resuscitate the dead. The rod of Asclepius, a modern symbol of medicine, reminds us of the many connections between classical literature and contemporary symbolism.

1st/2nd grade French

We have enjoyed carrying out our first surveys ( sondages). This activity promotes confidence in developing speaking skills.

3rd/4th grade French

We enjoyed making cartes de bonnes fêtes, as part of the last French class of 2024.
