Your trip wont complete without visiting Sarikin.it takes about 1 hour to reach Sarikin from Kuching city center and its only open on weekend(from Saturday morning to 3pm on Sunday)

** parking area once you arrive there, totally full and it might take half an hour for you to find parking space especially on Sunday morning.

if you went to kelantan, for sure you don't want to miss a trip to Rantau Panjang, the same thing at sarikin, the only different is all the traders are Indonesian, visitor comes as far as Miri, Bintulu ,Sibu and Peningsular Malaysia just to buy good. In my opinion, there are three reason why people like to go to sarikin, first is because of cheap and reasonable price (just imagine, you can buy "tikar sarawak" at RM 78 at sarikin, at Kuching, the price is RM 180++, and once it reach semenanjung malaysia, this matt will cost you about RM 350++ to owned it).

** So crowded with people..

** among goods that available and can be bought with cheap price at Sarikin.

Secondly is because of the item that you can find here, beside a normal item such as tshirt, sarong, kebaya and other, at the same time you can find a rare and antique item which is hard to be found in the market, and the price is also reasonable; and the third reason is because of woman (don't miss understand), they are shopaholic, since there is a lot of women item sell at cheap price and good quality( replica hand back, purse, kebaya, kurung etc,) this area become their shopping heaven, and I've seen a few of them who's spend a few thousand on their trip to Sarikin.

kuching , Sarawak, Kuching City, Bandar kuching, Kuching waterfront, waterfront

Welcome to our blog about Kuching, Sarawak. This blog was dedicated to all our friends who wish to visit Kuching and for those who are interested to go to Kuching and looking for a cheap trip because that was what we offer. We are not a travel agent or an agency which is related to Gov, we are just a team of three person who can help you on your trip to Kuching because this is our hometown and a place where we growth.

*** Panoramic view at Kuching Waterfront at night

As we mentioned before, we are not a travel agent, the idea comes when a lot of our friends who comes to Kuching asking for a transport and a guide for a city tours. Since we are working, it's quite hard for us to escape and fulfill their demand because of the time limitations.Based on that scenario, we decided to create this blog and create a team which offering a transportation service and city tour in more affordable way to all our friends and for those who plan to travel to Kuching. You are welcome to send your inquiries using our Cbox service.

Because we also loved to travel and we know, it is expensive and you have to spent a lot each time you travel (** especially for those who loved to buy things), travel is fun, but the money part will make you think twice each time you want to travel. We are not the shop owner who can give you discount; So how we can minimize your cost?
Have you ever wonder, the most expensive cost for each time you travel will be the transportation and accommodation... correct me if i am wrong. If talking about Kuching, as an example, it is pointless if you go to Kuching without going to Sarikin, but do you know that you have to pay around RM 150-RM 250 per trip from kuching?and what if there is another alternative where it just cost you RM 50 and you can go to Sarikin, Wind Cave and other places.Thats is what we offer you.
