In accordance with a recent report, Apple have offered Proview a settlement which is worth close to $16 million for the legal rights to the iPad hallmark in China, but it looks like Proview has didn’t accept it.

Proview are usually apparently looking for a greater settlement, which is considered to be in the region of $400 million, this could help Proview pay of its creditors and also the financial institutions as the company is throughout financial trouble.

Whether Apple will end up making payment on the $400 million remains to appear, it is quite a bit lower than the $2 billion that Proview wanted in their past lawsuit, and certainly a lot more that then $50,000 plus that Apple mackintosh paid for the Proview brand from the company.

Google has now released a major brand new update to its Google+ apple iphone application, which has brought with it a number of new features. Google’s re-design of its Google+ iphone 3gs application was quite definitely needed, and now has an easier way to check out your stream, making use of overlays, gradients and other visual aspects to make the process more enjoyable.

Other new additions to the Google+ iPhone contain crisper fonts, more substantial profile pics plus a more intuitive home-screen, helping you to navigate the iphone app with ease. Other enhancements have also been added to increase the risk for newly updated application run quicker and become more responsive. Yahoo Senior Vice President Vic Gundotra points out:

“Sharing is deeply sensory. From cooking a favorite meal to getting together with friends, it’s the smells and the stories and the smiles that make human connections so essential. With Google+ we want to extend these moments online, so it’s only right to focus on the most personal of personal computers: your mobile phone.

To be clear, we’re not interested in a mobile or social experience that’s just smaller. We’re embracing the sensor-rich smartphone (with its touchable screen and high-density display), and transforming Google+ into something more intimate, and more expressive. Today’s new iPhone app is an important step in this direction—toward a simpler, more beautiful Google.”

I wonder if there will be a macbookpro 2012 Google+ app?

The new comes from the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac who have apparently been told that Apple will use their own in house maps in iOS 6 instead of the current Google Maps.

The new Apple offering is rumored to be similar to Google Maps, but is apparently faster cleaner and provides a more reliable experience, it will be interesting to see what Apple’s own mapping software is like.

Anyway, I decided to create a computer build that is cheaper yet with identical features as with the new iMac – built for gamers, multimedia purposes, and for other computing needs. My first thought was just to buy an Asus EEPC, a LED Monitor, an Xbox 360, and PS3 but i have to abide with the rules and use their mock up pricelist. Anyway, here are the parts that i selected and so far so good i was able to build an i5 PC with a medium-hardcore graphics card, and lots of goodies. Check it out!

What do you think? Is this build fit for a movie junkie, mid to high tier gamer, business oriented, or one who doesn’t want to know the parts all of the time and hates maintenance or upgrading? Please leave your violent reactions, or comments below.
