Junior’s Camp

Every summer we have had our camps here and there. Here in our church and there outside the church in the regional level. We had our Junior’s Camp in our church for children aging 7 to 12 years old. AJ and his cousin were the recipients. They were excited every time summer is approaching. During one of the dinner we took a pose and afterwards we ate again.

Children from different outreaches were excited as well. It is their time to shine since we had a lot of enjoyable moments. There will be search for the Best Talent, Best Camper and the like. So everyone would like to be counted.

The Mini Lights

During December one of my desires is to look for mini christmas lights white wire. I like the small white lights because it’s cute and it attracted me. Besides, I enjoy buying small things. At times hubby would find me buying all the petite things and he would sigh! But that’s me so he has no choice but to agree. For me, small things matter and I love it.

So every time he bought something for me, he looked for the smallest thing that attracts. And many times the price varies. Nevertheless, he enjoys giving and I always treasure it.

Crystals in Green

I’m enjoying making bracelets and all staff for ladies and women alike. So every time I sit start working I find myself soaked to it and my mind and hands work hand in hand to start a new style. Then I saw this heart in green and I started working on it. I use the gold wire which is 10k and other green swarovski. It looks great in my eyes so I kept on making it until I reached the end. I will just put the lock later and will show you later.

Stewarding Students

Our students just graduated in the Catering / Stewarding Program in our school. It is a one-year course for those who really wanted to finish a course and work here and abroad. Many of our students are already working and had a stable job especially those who spent many years in college but didn’t finish their studies. I’m not sure if they had already experienced Rocky Patel but I’m really sure they are starting to earn well.

Another Style

Just recently I was encouraged to make another style of my swarovski crystals and I enjoy making it. It’s all in black with the big square and small shapes. I use the 10k gold wires to make it more attractive and pleasing to the eyes. I already showed it to my co-teachers and they like it. I will be selling it as soon as I’m done with the lock. I also use 10k lock in gold.

Started to Play

When our teenager started to play guitar, I could still remember the time he spent just to learn the first few basic keys. He slept late and wanted to learn the exact and proper way of playing the instrument. Later, he learned to play with Electro-Voice Speakers and he enjoyed it to the max. Now, he’s good in anyway. He became confident and every time his classmates would ask him, he would easily play with gusto.

Of Crystals and Clothes

The day we supposed to have our flight back home, from ( Manila to Bacolod City – the City of Smiles!) my friends invited us to go with them to the bargain places just near us. So we took a public transport from the place where we stayed to Quiapo area.
when we were there – I had the opportunity to look for some swarovski crystals which I am thinking of making a bracelet and a necklace for one of my friend whose going to get married early this year.
From Quiapo we took another transport, going to their Divisoria, A place where they are selling bargain sales of different commodities.
We have such a wonderful time hunting for great bargain sales. The place was jam packed, yet it was such a great time spend out there.
Another visit, another time!

Bake a Cake

I was thinking of using my oven to bake a cake again, hopefully when I get back from Baguio next week. I discovered my skill in baking when I was in Thailand and I enjoyed doing it. My kids especially AJ enjoyed eating the cake. It is my desire to bake again after years of waiting here in the Phil.

Ovens are the heartbeat of mothers; it helped them in many ways especially in earning a living. Will it be the same with laboratory ovens? I better check it out. It’s interesting.

Mother’s Day Celebration

Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day and most of the mothers attended the celebration in the church. Most of the mothers had teary-eyes because of the words that touched them while their children say something about them. We all agree that mothers had greater part and influence in the lives of their children. They even washed the hands of their mothers which symbolizes blessings.
