Hollywood Plans On Bringing Back the 80′s

So yesterday I did some digging and I found that Hollywood is bringing back the 80′s. Here is what I mean. The following movies came out in the 80′s that are getting or have got a remake Police Academy, Red Dawn, and Karate Kid. Well they are now going to add Short Circuit to the list. For those of you who do not know or remember it was a movie about a robot called Johnny 5. This movie was awesome for it’s time and truth be told it was very advanced for it’s time because of the fact that Johnny was a real robot not some person spray painted grey with a plastic helmet on. I feel as if this movie much like many other movies from the 80′s needs to stay where they are and not venture back to the theaters (unless they are bringing all 3 back to the future movies back i am not interested). So far no talks about who is going to be in the movie but Hollywood wants in.

I do not know what they consider worthless but a researcher at a university says that 25% of all tweets are worthless. Now I need to know what does worth =. For example if I am telling people of a bogo sales at the local hamburger joint is that worthless or if I am mindlessly retweeting other peoples messages. I do not know, but what I do know is this that 100% of all My Morning Joe twitter posts are 100% Good and 100% Awesome! So even though 25% of all tweets are pure garbage I know this that MMJ will never fall into that category .

Spirit Airline Adds A $2 Fee To All Tickets Starting Today!

So there is a new FAA regulation that states that any person that cancels there flight plans or changes them 24 hours before the flight takes off can change the flight without penalty. This is great no longer do you feel the pressure of having to leave if you do not want to! Well Spirit Airline will have none of that they are now charging a $2 fee per ticket as a cancellation fee. So for example if I fly to Georgia and think I want to stay a extra week so I change my flight then that means they lost that seat on my flight because I have changed to another flight so in the end they lost two tickets. The logic is that no one will buy a ticket with in 72 to 48 hours before take off so chances are if you change out your ticket for another flight they are taking a lose. So to help combat this lose everyone will be charged $2 per ticket each way so in case you do not make your flight they would make up the cost. So lets say you have a 747 fully booked that would be about 600+ people if one cancels no biggie because they just made a extra $1,200 on that flight alone. Well boo to you Spirit Airlines! Boo TO YOU!!!

Even though the Glee movie bombed last year Katy Perry is going to try her luck at making a 3D concert movie. Now this type of movie is very very hit and miss. Now Justin Bieber has some success at his concert movie but the question is does Katy Perry have that much of a following that would make her latest venture a success? I am going to say no only because most people will not go to the theater to see this concert, but I know for a fact a lot of people will buy this on Blu-Ray and DVD so I think for her sake she just makes it a straight to video release instead of a 3D movie release.

So here is the count of all of the crimes they have nailed Kim DotCom (the owner of MegaUpload) for they got him for piracy, money laundering, and racketeering. Well to add to this list is ripping off YouTube. They have found that the had a server and all it did was log into YouTube and rip the videos to MegaUpload. Here is the logic behind doing this. If Youtube is popular because of the content it has then if you download everything the site has to offer it gives you more content. So if MegaUpload is full of illegal movies and tv shows the only way to make it look more legit is putting random stuff on there as well. So that is where the YouTube content comes in at. Not only would you go to the site to find your favorite clips you will find there content as well. In the end the gamble did not work and they are all going to jail. O well.

So while at a book club meeting at a friends home Joel DeSpain noticed that her friend has a 12-year-old ball python measuring about 4 feet long. She then takes the snake out of its enclosure and starts to ‘handle it’ (whatever that means). The snake was not amused so the snake bit her on the face. Luckily her friend was able to get the snake off of her. The report says she is doing fine and that the snake bite wasn’t so bad but in my honest opinion I wouldn’t have messed with that snake at all because you never know what they will do.

They Chose The New Green Arrow

Stephen Amell the guy from the CW’s Vampire Diaries has won the title of Green Arrow. Now DC Comics and the CW say that even though there was another Green Arrow that was on the Smallville show that this is going to be a new show all on it’s own. With no tie in to Smallville so do not think of it like a spin off but it’s own series. To me this is not good that DC Comics is making this into a series. The reason behind is that Green Arrow does not have that big of a following and to use another person than the original Green Arrow I think they will lose the fan interest fast.

So for those who have ever used the site Megaupload you know that they were a massive online storage site. Only problem is people where using it to store music, and movies that they did not own the rights to. So the government steps in and said they want the entire site shutdown and all files deleted by this Thursday. The other issue is some companies where using Megaupload because it was a cheap cost effective way to storing their companies info. So here is the big issue because the government does not know what files are good and which are bad (i know i sound like a 5 year old right now) they are going to delete everything and to make it worst since the site was seized no one can get to their files. The man after getting the shock of his life shouted out his home address for some one to take his dogs home for him. After him and the ranger had their back and forth the man says he is not happy and will be calling a lawyer because the ranger used excessive force.

The New Season Of Arrested Development Is In Production

So as you heard a while back the new season for Arrested Development is in production currently. What we did not know is that they plan on airing the new season by the end of this year and for it to show up on Netflix by the start of 2013. The reason for this new season is to bridge the gap between the old show and the movie they are making. This means the new season will take off where the last episode ended, and the last episode of the new series will take us right into the movie. I am very excited about this show coming back and I can not wait to see what they have in store for the fans!

In less than 3 months the Kindle Fire that only controlled 3% of the market share has ballooned to 36% while the Samsung Galaxy Tab which has been on the market for 2 years dropped from 64% to 36%. So far the clear cut winner is Kindle Fire but to me I do not think it won because it is better. I think it won because it is cheaper. Think of it like this is that if you had the choice to spend $200 on a tablet or $450 which would you do? Now of course I would say the tablet with the best hardware is the Samsung, but with the tablet market being so fresh and the Android platform not being fully utilized it is a no brainier to buy a Fire over a Tab just because you know that it will preform just as good as a Tab with out paying an extra $250!

In the city of Philadelphia where the Fresh Prince was born and raised they are trying to increase bar’s closing time by 1 hour. So instead of the bars closing at 2am they can close at 3am. The reason is that City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown came up with a concept “Have A Drink For The Kids”. Here is her logic last year the city was able to generate $42 million in liquor taxes that went to schools. So if you keep the bars open for one more hour they say they could raise as much as another $5 million by the end of the year. The only issue is concept that people are drinking for the kids. In reality they are drinking for a whole host of other reasons but so far they have pushed back on this idea. In the end I could see this law passing but only if they learn to market it better.

This makes the hangover series a $1 billion dollar franchise. Well because of this they are going to be making a part 3 to the movie. Part 3 will take place in LA and they said that the movie will be out in 2013 at the start of the Summer movie season. Now with top 3 stars of the movie all asking for $15 million each to be in part 3 we can say that the budget of the movie could easily go over the $100 dollar mark but the question is what else can they do with the story line that they haven’t already done?

The FBI is now asking all social networks to start sharing more of their ‘open source’ information on it’s users. This way they can have a easier time on tracking people down. I find this hard to take I do think that the ‘Bad Guys’ do use social media, but I do not think it is the FBI should be using this information. It was like the rumor started back in the 80′s that the FBI would want to put tracking devices on walkmans to find people. Or when TV’s went to a all digital signal people said the FBI put cameras in the digital boxes to spy on people. All these stories are crazy and to make this Facebook story worst is that out of all of them this one is real. Now the common though is if your innocent then you should have nothing to hide but I would like to think most of us are private people. So to all of the social media sites out there I say take a stand! Do not allow these guys to pressure you into giving up anything.
