I realized, self-reliance is very important to me. When I was a kid, I walked to and from school all by myself. At a very young age, I learned different means to earn some cash by doing things here and there. When everyone in my family cried because something bad happened to my father, I  endured the pain and kept a happy face because I want to be strong for them. I learned to ride jeepneys going to Bulacan by myself when I was in Grade 3. When all other kids I know had tutors to help them with their assignments, I was busy tutoring myself and I was busy playing outside muahahaha. My parents instilled in me the value of self-reliance and now that I am old, I’m so used to being reliant of myself I have almost forgotten I have a family to back me up. When my mother told me she would support me if I need to do what I must do, I was sooo touched I almost cried. Turning to them has never become an option. I didn’t think of that bec I don’t want to give them any burden.

I lived my life thinking I can survive anywhere because I am capable – mentally, physically, emotionally. Hinde pala. I need God and my family to help me get through.

I want to live a peaceful, healthy and happy life in the province someday (when I’m already retired).

I want to put up my own farm where I can plant mango trees and all sorts of vegetables. Have my own poultry and build my own composters to produce composts for my organic farm. I also want a zen-inspired garden, with fountain in the middle, where I can plant pretty flowers and make bonsai plants.  I want to live closer to nature, with fresh air and eat fresh fruits and vegetables all days of my life! I want to live in a simple house, it must be well ventilated, cozy and of course, has access to internet!

I have been living in Manila for quite too long and someday, I would want to live in the barrio where I can serve my God, my family and the people around me. Yooohooo!

I seriously need to lose at least 30lbs++ so I signed up with Gold’s Gym last week. Too many reasons. First, I want to live longer and become healthier. Results of my annual check up show that I am still fit but I feel like I am gonna get sick sooner if I continue my lifestyle.

2nd – I have a lot of clothes in my closet that I don’t use anymore because they wont fit. Some are even still brand new.

3rd – I have some weddings to attend next year so I need to get in shape to look good in gowns. And speaking of weddings, I’m thinking of buying these lingerie bodystockings as wedding gifts for Ruth, Trel and Mitchie. I must buy one for myself too! LOLLL

4th – For my self-esteem.

Toured Manila last Sunday, January 29, 2012 with some friends. Tiring but really awesome experience. I have lived almost all my life here Metro Manila but I haven’t gone to most places we visited.

LOL yessss I have 4 elephants!!! Tons of sheep, 20 chickens, 4 ducks, 40 pigs and 20 cows. I even have a bear. Never in my life have I imagined to have these many pets in my life hahaha. Someone pls send me more pet gifts, I have yet to own my collection of giraffes and penguins.

Seriously, this game called Farmville is taking over my life. Everybody else I know have stopped playing this game since last year but I only started playing 5mos ago and since then, I have never stopped. I wake up earlier than my usual call time just to harvest. I sleep late to plow and seed my land. Haaay I need to get my life back! Maybe this addiction will stop if I plant real tomatoes in my mini backyard and get my own pet, no?

Hello everyone!!! Glad to be back blogging after more than 2 weeks! How’s your 2012 so far?

So my main goal for this year is to leave my comfort zone and rock my life. I have been doing the same things over and over…it feels like I am not growing anymore, just getting older.

I’m also quite busy with work and other stuff like Runningman and Farmville hahaha

Soooo many things running in my head right now. So many things to accomplish:
- Finalize team building preparations
- Reunion planning with elementary classmates
- Get new batteries for my alarm clock and sports watch. I need another watch that I can wear on business days! I want one of those stainless steel watches on sale last month in Cybermall.
- Apply for a VL for Manay Beng’s party in Davao
- ICP
- Gym. Yessss!
- Plan my trip to ………
- Open my online stores
- Manage my closet – sell those clothes that wont fit anymore
- Save enough cash…
- Get serious with blogging, again
- renovate my room! i want a new bed, bedsheets, curtains, lampshade and a rustic bedroom furniture where I can put my DVD collections and books.
- Learn to live simply – I’m going to keep/dispatch those clutter in my apartment

Looks like 2012 will be an exciting year. Lord, thank you for another year of blessings. Teach me your ways…so that I may live according to your will.

Still clueless on what to give your husbands/boyfriends this Christmas? Why not go unique this time and give him some personalized cufflinks for men? They will surely make the perfect gifts for your loved ones esp. if they’re the corporate types. You can also add a custom made tie with your pictures together. I know, it’s cheesy but love is supposed to be cheesy and corny, right?

Saaad. My heart cries out to those who have lost their loved ones brought by the typhoon Sendong (Washi) that devastated Mindanao last week. To date, the flash floods have killed more than 1,000 people and left more than 40,000 homeless. Soo heartbreaking.

The President already ordered to investigate if illegal logging aggravated the damages.  Obviously, yes. The affected areas has been cleared by illegal logging so the soil wasn’t able to contain the immense rain, the flooding went down the mountains swiping the homes and villages nearby. Let’s do our part in saving our planet – plant more trees, reduce/reuse/recycle whatever you can, promote a “paperless office” (instead of printing piles of documents, let’s utilize the technology and use document imaging software), use renewable energy, conserve water etc. We can help in various ways!

I hope no more tragedies like this will happen again. Let’s work together and try to live in a way that doesn’t hurt our environment.

Finally, after 20++ years, I gave in and bought my first ever smartphone and I looovee it. It’s Galaxy Note, Babeeeeh!!! Brand spanking new!! I bought it last week with Ruthie. Thank you Ruth! Yesss, no remorse…for now. I hope I wont have any in the future hahahha.

1. It’s super faaast! it’s even faster than my laptop LOL.
2. Its gigantic screen (5.3” display) makes everything easily readable
3. It’s huuuugeee but still very handy and it fits perfectly with my hands, it’s almost like we’re destined to be together LOL
4. Doesn’t look really awkward when you use it as a phone
5. It looks really stylish. Trust me, even if you’re just wearing a DASTER, you’d look 1000x times better with this phone lol
6. HD video baby! HD!!! I’m thinking of shooting a movie with this phone, you know.
7. S Memo and S Pen (aka stylus pen) so you can doodle whatever, whenever, wherever!
8. Super clear screen I can almost see your pores.
9. 8MP camera! Digicams today will become extinct tomorrow.

These are just 9 of the 10 things I love about my Samsung Galaxy Note phone. Will follow up with #10 when I’m done thinking about it LOL.
