English language is an international language. Proficient in English language give you many opportunity to know the people around the world as well as increase your competitive and market value in your career.

The questions are how to learn it, who is qualified to teach it, and its fee. As a student, I do not have many time and money to participle those so-called "smart learning in English" or "Guarantee Result English lesson". However, the contributors who have provided many fantastic lessons and advices in Youtube.

First contributor is Jennifer, who can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/JenniferESL. She has provided a lot of marvellous lessons which are close to our daily living life and present the sophisticated grammar in easy understand form. Her English lessons cover all we need in daily conversation.

Next contributor is Steve Ford, who can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/PrivateEnglishPortal. His lessons mainly concern about the TOEFL and ESL examination preparation as well as business communication.

It is cannot be denied that there are many other contributors in Youtube. A very thank you for all of the contributors here.

Guess a Word

In order to increase our English vocabulary, "guess a word" plays an important role on it. It is quite often to heard of somebody, who seems full of vocabularies, said he or she just guess the meaning of a word. It is very frustration at the first time for me because I thought they were selfish and not willing to teach me the way he or she used to memorizing those seldom used word.

Finally I found a guild line to guess a word as illustrated below. There are two important points, prefix and suffix, which are use to alter the meaning to a word by add it before and after the word, respectively. For instance, sur-, which is a prefix, means additional. Therefore, the word surcharge has a meaning of additional charge. The -let, on the other hand, which is a suffix, means small or unimportant. As a result, the word, booklet, has a meaning of small book.

A slice of life is a Singapore program which provide inspiration and motivation in our daily basis. By subscribing A slice of life newsletter, one will receive a piece of article or information from Eugene Loh, the writer of this program, every weekdays.

This program not only provide inspiration and motivation in my life, it also give surprise and guild line in my life. It is because sometime we do not have any idea about what we need to read today although we do know we need to read something today. The something which should meaningful, inspiration, motivation and bring impact to our life in both long and short run. As a result, I do believe this program do a great job to fulfill the above requirements.

Besides that, this program is total free of charge and available all the time. Hope this program will bring benefit to you too.

Open Source open the successful gate for everyone

I love open source. There are not only open for free access, free download, but also let everyone has an opportunity to learn, to share, and to experience it throughout the universal, free of charge.

I would like to say thank you very very much for all the contributors for open source. Their contributions, cannot be denied, change the world to be a better place for human being. Their contributions inspire and motivate me to become one of the contributors in the future.
