Dogs in the rain needs a jacket

Here is a cure picture of a dog with a rain jacket on. It’s bucketing down, cats (yippee) and dogs here outside, and we wanted to prepare our puppy for a little bit of fun in the rain. This type of jacket ties at the front with a bit velco which is good for your pet’s safety. The velco catch his allows the dog and jacket to come free if it gets caught on something it shouldn’t. Sometime like this could easily strangle a pet.

Actually a rain jacket for your dog is practical, it stops him catching potential codes, especially if he’s just a puppy. The benefit of a jacket like this is that it’s also water proof, as well as wind proof.

Here is Buddy, a dog that likes to dress up very much. Here he is in his running suite. It keeps his nice coat clean and dry and also helps him be more aerodynamic. The head scarf accessory is also pretty hand on rainy days. Do you dress your dog up when you are going out with them ?
Buddy looks a little sad here, but it’s because we couldn’t find his doggy socks.

Dogs eating furniture

Here’s Ralph ! He eats all sorts of things, here he is trying to check out what a table tastes like. We’ve covered his meal with a table cloth to add an bit of extra spice to his dinner.
Dogs like having pieces of wood in their mouth, and we are not really sure why they like it.

Giving pets Coke

There is a general recommendation that you don’t give pets human food. Dogs, cats and other animals have distinctive digestive differences and requirements. Foods like chocolate, sweets, or even just craps from your dinner table, should generally not be given to pets as their dietary system can’t deal with them. Even certain vegetables can be dangerous for animals.

That being said, here’s Gunner sleeping with one of his favorite toys, a bottle of Coke. Don’t worry his owner has never given his dog Coke or other fizzy drinks.

Sammy likes music, in fact he has his own set of ear phones to listen to the music he likes. Sammy also likes long walks in the mountains with his owners, and chasing anything that has 4 legs.

Do you know that there is a calming effect on dogs with music ? It’s been proved that both humans and pets do like the sound of melodic tunes. Animals don’t seem to be fans of lyrics, but they do like some good classical music.

Summer time fun with your dog

The summer is on our door step, and Buddy, a lovely golden corgi is laying out in the sand, enjoying catching some rays. He loves playing in sand, so much so he even allowed us to burry him in the sand. We are not sure if he does it for simply the attention, or if it stops him from getting doggie sunburn. Either way it seems like he has a smile on his face.

Smart Dogs

Jeff is one smart pooch. Here is a picture of him studying to be a doctor, or should we say vet ? We think that the purple tie, really makes the outfit, sadly we didn’t get a picture with his dog glasses on. When Jeff isn’t studying, he’s into long walks along the beach and chasing rabbits in the back garden. His favorite color is purple (naturally) and he likes to eat pizza when he’s allowed.
