Everyday, all over the world , tens of thousands of new websites are being added to the Internet. They all have one thing in common. They need advertising. So the next question is, how will they advertise and get their message out, and which type of advertising is viable to serve their purpose.

In today's market you will find two types of advertising. One is free advertising and the other is paid advertising.

Now consider this. Free advertising sites are free which means everyone posts on them. Even spammers have there way with free advertising sites by opening multiple accounts, placing the same ad in different categories, using the same title for all their ads, and sometimes posting ads of Adult nature. Because of this, your advertisement message gets lost in the crowd more often than not. Monetizing Blog with PayPerPost

I couldn't remember hen was the last time I wrote a post on this blog. The worst thing is that Google has dropped this blog's pagerank to zero. Maybe caused by too many outside links that I've put here.

Anyway, this time I would like to cover an alternative way to earn money online. Monetize your blog using paid review services. There are many of them outside there, but the one that I've succeed with is PayPerPost.com. I've managed to write three sponsored posts/reviews, each post worth 1.15 dollar. Not much, but it's okay.

So far I've $3.45 on my PayPerPost ballance. Actually the limit to cashout is $50.00, but you can cashout any amount on your balance with a $2.00 penalty fee. I did it and received $1.45 on my Paypal. I'll post the proof on my next post.

Also, there are many complaints from bloggers about low levels of opportunities. But, usually the blog is full of spelling or grammatical errors, or too much advertising or other aspects that are putting advertisers off.

If you have a good blog, say PR2 or above, then there can be plenty of work at a price that you set yourself.

The Disadvantages

Yes, there are a few problems. Advertisers set up the opps themselves and sometimes get the setup wrong, demanding hundreds of words per post having clicked the option for just a link only. However, maybe there has been a system change as I haven’t seen that recently.

On the same theme, some advertisers request 30 word posts and 3 links and other equally silly requests which do them no good and can harm the blog.

Summary

If you have a well written blog with a few Yahoo Backlinks showing, then you should be able to get at least a few opportunities from the system. PR0 / PR1 blogs seem to get a lot less work, but there is some there for them to get going. As with any of these systems, the work is in fits and starts. But it is well worth joining and probably the best of the lot.

Google Hates Me, But It Loves Me Too

You won't know how stressed and desperate I was when my two blogs were marked as splogs (spam blogs) by Google. Up 'til now I still can't recover both of them. Do you know what? I was having my little community and few loyal readers on one of them. Now they're missing the blog and even sent emails or offline YM messages asking about the lost and not found blog. My heart was broken.

The said blog was written in bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language). Its contents was in general about making money online, mainly from GPT and PTC sites. I've succeeded in building good number of referrals up for some of my GPT programs through some ref cash back offers. It was such a disaster when the blog disappeared from the net as I and my partners (referrals) are counting on some of the blog's posts to keep up to date with our deals. Thankfully I was having some backups and managed to restore most of the missing data.

I tried to restore the blog several times with no luck. End of story. Now let's get back to Google...

I'm very confident to say that Google Really Hates Me. Here's why. After the said blog got deleted, I tried to create another make money online blog some days after my fail recovery attempts. This time the newly created blog is in English. But to my surprise, the new baby-born blog has only one day to survives. The next following day, I receive a shocking notification from Google that this new blog is marked as splog too!

Not again, I said to my self. I felt so lost. All my hard works are all wasted in only three days. To add to my misery, I haven't back the templates yet. Just a perfect drama, Lol.

One of this blog visitors, MinnieRunner, a fellow Philippine blogger just declared that Google hates her 'cos of Google has 'kindly' decreased her blogs PR to 0 or N/A ranks. I replied to her post saying that she was lucky enough not to get her blogs marked as splogs and got deleted. She was recently re-reply on my last post 'How to Add EasyAd.us Ads to Your Blog'.

But Google Loves Me Too

I'm glad that this blog, Get Exposed, is safe although this blog is merely being updated. You can see on the archive section, there are only four to five posts per month. The thing that caused it is --or was-- my previous said Indonesian blog. The blog has took the majority portion of my focus in writing and updating.

Now that my two blogs have been gone, I can continue to keep this one up, running and being updated again. Slowly but surely I start to forget the bitter of loosing the two blogs. Live must goes on!

When writing my last post about EasyAd.us, I feel like checking my blogs ranks. One after one, I check all my abandoned blogs. My heart beats a little faster (of joy) when I see a number two figure as this blog's Google PR.

It was previously a N/A PR blog. Google loves me this time. I also checked Google PR of some of my fellow blogger blogs. Most of their blogs' PR is increased. Google loves them too. And what about you?

As a nation, it seems we pop more pills than all the other developed countries. The people who count things release the number of prescriptions written each year, and painkillers and sleeping pills are always racing ahead of the field for that Number 1 spot. It's strange we should find sleep a problem - that's not just falling asleep, it's also staying asleep long enough to feel the benefit the next morning.

Why should something that comes so naturally as young children become so difficult for some as they grow older? The answers are long and complicated, varying with changes in lifestyles and habits to the places where we live becoming more noisy. One thing is clear. Sleeping pills are now an integral part of our culture. You will see references to them wherever you look, whether as ads on TV or the media, or as throw-away lines.

For example, when Lacey was kicked out of American Idol, her performance of "Ruby Tuesday" was promoted as a "safer alternative to sleeping pills". Going cold turkey on the golf course in front of the TV cameras will make for exciting viewing. All this should be a kind of warning to us all.

In a sensible society, we would not be discussing whether you really do get crazy sex when you take ambien and then get into action. It's faintly perverse to believe a drug designed to send you to sleep enhances your experiences if you fight it to stay awake. It's far better to discuss why our society has become addicted to sleeping pills. What does it say about our lifestyles and the levels of stress we have to endure, if the majority of people who live and work in this country have to rely on medication to get to sleep?

The statistics collected on the national economy show increasingly poor levels of productivity. Looking around the workplaces every morning gives you one of the reasons why. People come into work looking and acting like the living dead. Even when ambien is introduced into the equation, there's only some improvement. The sleep induced by pills is not natural sleep. It does not refresh in the same way as natural sleep. As a short-term measure, ambien is great. If insomnia persists, you should get a different type of help to overcome the problem.

What is Google Pagerank?

Many people are aware of the importance of inbound links. Basically the more links to your website , the better your website will perform in the search engine rankings. For example, if you compare your website to your competition, and everything on the page (metatags and keywords) are the same, then the website with the most inbound links would rank higher.

This concept is referred to as link popularity. And just like a popularity contest, the more popular you are the more attention you get.

What most people are not aware of is that some websites make for better link partners than others. In fact Google has created a system to measure the link value of any webpage. This is called Pagerank.

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns weight, or a value, to web pages. The algorithm is used in determining the authority and relevance of a webpage for search engine results. Basically the higher the Pagerank, the better the search engine rankings.

The name PageRank is a trademark of Google, and the PageRank process has been patented (U.S. Patent 6,285,999). However, the patent is assigned to Stanford University and not to Google. Google has exclusive license rights on the patent from Stanford University. The university received 1.8 million shares in Google in exchange for use of the patent; the shares were sold in 2005 for $336 million.

According to Google PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual pages value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves important weigh more heavily and help to make other pages important.

So having higher Pagerank websites linking to lower Pagerank websites will benefit the lower Pagerank website, but not necessarily detract from the higher Pagerank websites.

The best way to track your inbound links is to use Googles webmasters program.

The Pagerank is assigned to webpages based on a 0-10 scale. Websites with a Pagerank 10 or PR10 are considered the most popular, and usually are considered the most authoritative on the world wide web. The webpage http://google.com would most definitely fall under this category.

Right below PR8 and PR9 are considered very high achievements. Ebay and ESPN.com homepages would fall in this category.

PR7 and PR6 are above average rankings, and will usually do well for their relevant keywords.

PR3 through PR5 are considered average. These ranking require some effort to achieve.

At the bottom is PR0 through PR2. These are fairly easy to acheive given the right amount of inbound links.

Pagerank Linking Strategy

Key to achieving good Pagerank is having a proper linking strategy. By all means the more above average or elite Pagerank website you have linking to you the better, but this is usually very difficult especially for a new website.

When a webmaster decides to launch a new website, they usually embark upon a link building campaign. A proper link building campaign should start with identifying the keywords that their visitors would use to find the website. The next step is finding relevant websites they could receive inbound links from. In the past, link exchanges or reciprocal links were used to quickly build Pagerank. Currently the most effective way to build inbound links is by joining social networks, social bookmarking and commenting on blogs.

Certain blogs, like Wordpress allow for comments to include links to the commentators website. This means that simply by making innocent comments on relevent blogs you can achieve some Pagerank for your new website.

Also keep in mind that Pagerank is assigned to each webpage, not each website. So your hompage could be a PR4 and your About Us page could be a PR2. The interior pages of your website should factor into your Pagerank linking Strategy. Don't get too caught up into making your homepage the only webpage that recieves inbound links.

Also remember to give a little link love back. So often people think that Google only values their inbound links, that people lose sight of the bigger picture, and forget about outbound links. Contrary to some SEO myths, outbound links do not hurt your Pagerank, so long as they are relevent to your website.

Selling Pagerank

Currently there is quite a bit of controversy regarding the selling of Pagerank.

Google has warned against such a practice of selling links to increase Page Rank.

In taking their stance, they clearly state that they will uphold the quality guidelines set forth in their webmaster guidelines. Any site caught selling links to increase Page Rank will be dealt with accordingly. To quote Google they say we reserve the right to protect the quality of our index.

Unfortunately there is very little means for Google to police this policy. Unless the websites selling Pagerank actually listed what webpages were involved in the illicit activity, Google would have no way of identifying the bad webpages from the good webpages.

Until Google finds a way to actually discriminate between good and bad links, there will be very little recourse for punishing the culprits.

Have you ever heard of Marvell company? Well, Marvell is the first company ever to design a quad core Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) processor back in last 2009, namely ARMADA. Here's a brief profile of this company:

Marvell is an American producer of storage, communications and consumer semiconductor products. Their products can be found in a range of applications:

Consumer: Technologies include Wireless LAN, Voice over IP (VoIP), system controllers, power management, storage products and embedded CPUs.

Enterprise: Marvell produces silicon devices for network switching, routers and wireless networking. Marvell was the first to develop merchant Gigabit Ethernet switching products.

Storage: Marvell designed the first Gigabit all-CMOS read channel, the first Gigabit-capable system-on-a-chip and the first Serial ATA interface. These products are found in both disk drive and network-attached storage systems.

For so many people, leaving their computer back home after buying airline tickets, is the same thing as if they would cut off their right arm. It seems impossible to go on without it. Good thing that the developments in technology allow easy transportation of laptops with minimum stress.

Here is a list of computer travel tips to simplify technical problems that could happen during your travels. Most of them were learned the hard way: computer crashes, nasty viruses, forgotten passwords and so on.

Things you must have:

Antivirus and firewall. Many people forget to install antivirus on their laptops. Well, don't, 'cause a virus is always a virus, even if you get it on a plane.
International adapter plugs set. It's important to purchase a set of frequently used electric adapter plugs, if you travel quite often.
Software. Don't use the software different from what you have at your office or at home. You don't want to get frustrated because of routine changes of different versions or even different brands. And don't forget to test any new software before your travel. You don't want to deal with software or OS conflicts on the road.
Necessary passwords list. If you have long and complicated passwords that are really hard to figure out in case of forgetting them, save them on your computer. Don't carry printed or written lists - you can lose them.
Technical support contact numbers. Save phone numbers of companies you may be needed to be supported by, bookmark websites for any surfing during your journey.
Backup depot. Take CD's, DVD's or flash drives to back up files on the road. You'll still have your data if your laptop crashes.
Document maintenance. Don't forget to copy any important files to your home computer, when you return.

X-ray can't damage your laptop, but the checkpoint belt is a foremost target for thieves. Hold your laptop until you pass the metal detector, that way your laptop won't be out of sight for long.

On the Plane

Don't place the computer in the overhead bin - it can be stolen, or it can move around during the flight.

At the Hotel

Hide your laptop somewhere in your hotel room, if the idea of leaving it there doesn't warm you up.

During Transit

Disguise your laptop. Just to prevent theft.

Insurance

Make sure your computer is insured against damage or theft during the travel. You can buy insurance right when ordering airline tickets.

1. Cut the top flaps off the box. Line the inside with aluminum foil, keeping the shinier side up. Place the two bricks on the bottom and fit the grate on top. Position the lamp about a foot away from the food and at least eight inches away from the walls of the box so as to ensure no fire hazards.

2.Cut the fruit into thin, uniform slices. Try to keep them all the same thickness so they'll dry out at the same time. Place the slices on the grate.

3.Turn on the lamp, fit the top over the box, and let sit for at least 24 hours (depends on the kind of fruit being used) or until desired dryness.

Indonesian Students Laptop Assembly and Lack of Funds

Indonesian SMK Negeri 4 Bandung senior high school students may proud of their achievement by successly assembling laptops. The main barrier for this positive progress is lack of funds for buying laptop components.

"We are looking for investors", said Eman Sulaeman Hidayat, Director of Business Center of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung.

They brand these assembled laptops by Advan SMK (in collaboration with Advan company) with Indonesian red and white flag background. The students have been assembling 40 laptop units since December 2009. There are two types of laptops that they assembled so far, a three million Rupiahs Netbook Vanbook (around US $325) and a 5.5 million Rupiahs Netbook G2T-65S (around US $600).
SMK Negeri 4 Bandung managed to sell their assambled laptops. But the majority of their consumers purchased their products by installment payments. This results in another constrain to the progress of their work.

Everyone will have their own point of view toward any particular thing. Their views and ideas may have similarities in some way, but those will definitely never be the same. Blogging is something that everybody seem into it nowadays. Some busy blogger even blogging and post their opinions using their PDAs or hand phones, something that everyone say nowadays as 'micro-blogging'.

I love to blog too. This blog is a place for me to write and share my reviews about various products and services that I found them interesting.

For some, blogging is a way to express their views and ideas. For other, blogging is a way to make some extra income by monetizing the blog in many ways. While for some others, blogging is a combination of both. I'm that kind of person.
