Setelah menghabiskan waktu bertahun-tahun sebagai mahasiswa yang tinggal di kota kelahirannya, dengan wifi router yang dipasang dirumah sehingga menyebabkan saya selalu tidur malam, saya sempat stres ketika pindah ke Jakarta. Disini, menemukan kos dengan harga terjangkau dan fasilitas penuh susah sekali ditemukan. Sekalinya saya menemukan kos dengan Wifi / Internet, harga yang ditawarkan sangat amat tidak bersahabat dengan kantong.

Mengapa Internet? Simple Question. Jawabannya pun nggak kalah singkat : BUTUH. Yap, di masa yang penuh dengan teknologi canggih seperti ini internet sudah seperti kebutuhan yang tidak terpisahkan bagi saya. Mulai dari E-Mail yang mulai mengalahkan kekuatan SMS, online-shopping yang dapat menyediakan semua peralatan yang saya butuhkan (mulai dari alat mandi hingga perlengkapan tidur!), hingga the master of everything : GOOGLE.

Google membantu saya dalam melakukan hampir semua aktivitas. Mulai dari mencari info kost bagi saya selama di Jakarta hingga mencari tahu siapa nama pacar terbaru dari Justin Bieber. Dari mencari tahu rekomendasi tempat makan enak di Jakarta hingga mencari peta bagi alamat rumah teman saya. Google selalu punya jawaban atas semua pertanyaan saya.

Selain itu, bagi saya yang jauh dari keluarga, teknologi khususnya Internet merupakan sahabat terbaik. Saya nggak perlu lagi pulang kerumah setiap weekend, karena Skype selalu dapat saya manfaatkan kapanpun saya kangen dengan adik-adik dan orangtua saya. Begitu juga dengan Facebook, dimana saya jadi dapat mengetahui kegiatan terakhir keluarga saya serta foto-foto terbaru mereka untuk mengobati kerinduan saya.

Alhasil saya memutuskan mencari modem. Ya, MODEM! Kira-kira butuh sebulan lebih sebelum saya menemukan Modem yang saya cari beserta providernya. Pertimbangan saya banyak, mulai dari harga (!!!), kekuatan sinyal hingga harga bulanan yang nantinya perlu saya bayarkan ketika saya berlangganan internet.

Yang saya cari hanya Layanan Internet Unlimited. Banyak yang mempertanyakan keputusan saya membeli modem, karena saya memiliki Blackberry full-service. Sayangnya Blackberry full service tidak bisa digunakan sebagai modem dan blogging, sehingga mau tidak mau saya harus mencari modem yang tepat untuk mengobati kerinduan saya nge-blog.

Yak! Speed-Up yang dibundling dengan Provider XL akhirnya menjadi pilihan saya. Sedikit gambling, karena saya sama sekali nggak tahu mengenai sinyal XL di kos baru saya. Yang lebih membahagiakan lagi, harga yang ditawarkan saat itu cukup murah, yakni Rp 399,000,- saja, sudah include layanan Internet Unlimited XL selama 3 Bulan!

VOILA!

Yapp, 3G! Walaupun model 'hanya' berkecepatan 3,6 Mbps, sinyal 3G yang ada di indikator Speed-Up ini nggak main-main lho! Sangat amat memuaskan, apalagi dengan harga yang tergolong tidak begitu mahal, dimana setelah 3 Bulan saya hanya perlu membayar Rp 100,000,- / bulannya untuk berlangganan Internet Unlimited ini.

Akhirnya setelah satu bulan tidak update dengan kehidupan duniawi (halah), akhirnya saya bisa bersenang-senang lagi dengan dunia internet. Mulai dari online chatting dengan keluarga, checking facebook dan online shop yang saya punya hingga membuka kiriman video YouTube cover-up-singing yang baru saja diupload teman saya tanpa perlu menunggu buffer yang terlalu lama. Berita-berita terbaru dengan gampang dan cepat bisa saya akses, begitu juga dengan upload foto-foto jualan untuk online shop yang saya miliki.

Nggak lupa juga, XL membantu saya untuk tetap ter-update dengan event Jakarta Fashion Week yang berlangsung November lalu. Karena saya tidak dapat hadir di semua rangkaian acara JFW, saya hanya perlu mengunjungi website mereka, karena JFW menawarkan video live streaming untuk beberapa acara fashion shownya. Nggak perlu harus menunggu loading page yang super lambat, dengan provider XL, saya selalu berhasil menjadi Xlangkah Lebih Maju dibanding teman-teman saya yang tidak menggunakan XL!

I came twice! at the Opening event (Thanks God I have a wonderful friend named Luci who want to lend me her BNI credit card) and the last day!

Kleting's last season items were also sale upto 80% off! I fell into their satin floral dress in mustard, but I already bought too much! Colouring My Nails!

I am deeply in love with Nail Polish!

TOO DAMN MUCH!

Even tough I am moslem and I can not apply - nail polish everyday, I am easily in love with this kind of make-up! I always buy N/P in mini-size or travel size package, avoiding damaged - nail polishes that I've already own.

When I left for Jakarta, I decided to share my nail polish collection to some friends and my sists! It was a very hard decision, but I couldn't bring all of my stuff because I rarely wore it. Yes, I agreed! LUCKY THEM ALL!

after a very long tired weekdays, I finally can browsing through all over their site to see the newest collection showed at New York Fashion Week : SS2012.

and here I am, now, browsing for my favourite designers newest collections, and drooling over their great taste and newest collections. and all I see is fresh colour everywhere!

light materials such as chiffon, crepes and rayon are often used by them, and I see pattern everywhere, and I love it!

Feeling Abstract

Last weekend, I spent 2 days with my beloved(s), my boyfie and my bestfriend named Wintang! I once mentioned her in this blog (or in another blogs? Ooppss I forgot!), she is one of my besties from high school and now since she is now working at Jakarta, we decided to spent this weekend together! Just both of us *giggles*

At Saturday, I went to Senayan City to see the shoes sale from Little Things She Needs (LTSN) in The Hall! It’s a heaven for you, shoe lover! They even put a very cheap price for their past collection. For example, they put 70% off for their ‘sparkling’ heels (they have some colours of its, one of them was PINK but my boyfie say NO for its!), and IDR 50,000 for some of their basic flats!

But still, I end up with buying nothing. Actually, I took 1 flats, its in bright yellow color and I really love it! But when I see the paying queue, I decided to leave the shoes and go. My boyfie said that I already have enough shoes, but hey! Ladies, we never ever have enough shoes for ourselves, right?

On Sunday, I went to La Piazza to attend the Arabian Night event, and also to check on Dian Pelangi latest stuff! I have been drolling on her collection since months ago, but I never had a chance to come to her boutique and when I see her collection in real life, I have been feeling overwhelmed! I in love with her hoodie maxidress, its so unique and different than other hoodie maxi than have been sold by many other people (including me!) out there.

I love the harem pants, that could be worn as jumpsuit! I really like her tie-dye touch (just like a rainbow) of all the material that she used on her collection. Too bad at Sunday, they dont bring many collection. I should come back yesterday but I was too lazy to come again alone.

If you love Dian Pelangi and already considering to wear her dress to the Ied Mubarak on the next 3 weeks. You should visit La Piazza! Her wide dress are very tempting!!!
