This was me last week when we got some sunshine. I was all comfy in the sun and then the Woman came and blocked it out and took photos. I was still relaxing. Fortunately she left quickly and I got to go back to enjoying the sun. Even better–Ichiro followed her out so I had the sun puddle to myself.

Sometimes it’s good to be Chey. Not very often, but sometimes…

Oh it’s Mardi Gras and there are parties. Oh did my mask fall off again?!

I am not such a good model as Daisy the Curly Cat I guess.

And Mama is not so good at getting good photos. I mean I do not have a modeling table or anything. Then I bet I could keep a mask on. If I ever got on it the modeling table that is. I think the motto for today is Eat Drink and Be Merry for tomorrow is Lent! I’m not sure what Lent means because I am just a cat and not a cat-holic. I am off to Jacqueline’s Cat House for the Party!

The sun was so bright the day this was taken, I needed some shades!

Do you like my long whiskers? I think they are very fine. Chey is less than impressed.

OH OH OH!!! I got a new bed. Well I sort of got one of Chey’s old beds that I kinda like and she got a new puffy bed from Costco for in the room where her old bed was and you know what? Because the extra bed was in the bedroom, I stayed in the bedroom all night. Of course I slept on the big bed and not in the bed for me, but the Woman is pleased that somehow it worked anyway.

And my dad is talking about getting me a cat tree for in there. Something about watching Jackson Galaxy has gotten him into buying us things. He always told Mom she was just silly when she’d want stuff like that for us…

Sunday Guest Star: ‘Kaika

Yes, I have been here before. In fact when ‘Kaika found me he said, “Are you in Petersburg, Alaska, at the end of the road again?” And yep–that’s where I was. At least this time you guys had a clue!

Eric and Flynn had a sense of deja vu–and they were right. The Woman realized after she put this up that I had been here before. It’s not like there aren’t thousands of other places and my friends, Pixel and Samba have told me about lots of them, that I can’t go elsewhere! The Woman is a lazy travel agent with a poor memory! Even Whitey who is all buggery (but getting better–seriously), remembered!

Cory sounds like she would get lost as well as I do as she remembered the photo but couldn’t remember where I was. Maybe there should be a Find Cory post?

Okay, so there’s less water here for all those water phobic cats. Now, I have 100 yards more of road but I don’t think it will bring me home. And you know what? I might have been here before. I think the Woman needs to get out and start working this a bit more–if she can’t travel other people can!

The fishy flake bag is getting low and no one has gotten me fresh ones. I hate it when my fishy flakes aren’t fresh and large and tasty but are just crumbs. Sigh.

And the Woman didn’t let me yak on her. She moved me off her lap as I started and so I yakked on the floor. I would rather have yakked in her lap. It would have given me much more relief.

Doesn’t anyone care about what I want?!

Sunday Guest Star: Truffle and Brulee

So there I was, exploring the world that Pixel and Samba recommended. I was quite comfy in the lap of Neptune and along comes Truffle and Bruleeand immediately they say, “We think you traveled across the pond for this one, Chey. Are you resting on the Neptune Statue in Versailles Gardens in France? Truffle and Brulee”

Now Pixel and Samba were impressed because their humans took the shot of Neptune and didn’t know if he had a name or not! But yes, I was in Versailles. I mean, where else would I feel so at home? I decided to hop down to the Chans who said, “Hey Chey! come over and play. We think you’re only about one and a half hours away from our house, in the gardens of Versailles!” So it was a grand weekend over all!

Now how can I get the Woman to purchase Versailles for me?
