Stampin' Up! ...Happy Anniversary

Here is a fun card I made a few months ago, June actually. I sent it to my In-laws for their Wedding Anniversary. I thought it turned out cute. I really enjoy my bird punch and using my Big Shot. How could you not right??? Don't you love the colors? I know the designer series paper is now retired but at the time I made the card it wasn't. I do have a ton of it left over......I have a hard time not using my papers just because they are retired. As a demonstrator, it's hard to use retired product because it seems like EVERY TIME I use something that is no longer available, someone wants it... NEVER fails... I can show current stuff all day long and never get an order, but the minute I show something that can't be ordered any longer, BAM, someone wants it..... It always happens to me, lol... Anyways, everything but the paper is current and if you want a piece bad enough, i'd be more than happy to send you one, lol....

Card stock: Marina mist, crumb cake and whisper white. Stamps: teeny tiny wishes. Ink: soft suede. Accessories: Bird punch, gold brads, tulip embossing folder, big shot, dimensionals, modern label punch, and 5/8 grosgrain marina mist ribbon (oh sorry thats retired now too)...

A Super Fun Birthday Card.....

I just want to say I had sooooo much fun making this card! We made this card last Thursday at my creative card making class. For those of you that attend my creative card making classes on a regular basis, you know we normally don't do "cutesy" cards. HOWEVER, I've been seeing a lot of ladies making presents using the triple layer punch and I knew I had to try it and OMGosh-I had so much fun doing it and I JUST LOVE this card! OK, in real life it is so cute and so much fun, seriously it is!!! It has so much texture to it and is so vibrant! In fact I like it so much I made a few of them to keep on hand, which is something I normally don't do.. I know crazy right, lol...I popped the presents up by using dimensionals so the presents scream OPEN ME, lol.... What do you think about the card, do ya like it????? If you're interested, I have a card kit left from my creative card making class which includes all 4 cards from my last class. Stampin' Up! Plant of Hope ...Masculine Card CASE....

I'm sure many of you have already seen this card posted on Andrea Walfords blog so it wont be much of a surprise here, lol... This is a card of hers I fell in love with and just knew I had to give it a try on my own. I'm not sure how she did hers or all of the supplies she used, so I will list what I used at the end of this post. Most of my supplies are now sadly retired as I made this card back in JUNE! I know, it's taken quite sometime for me to get it posted. Sorry about that! I do know we did use the same stamp set tho =)

I like this card because it's quite masculine and can be used for many "Guy" occasions. I believe I used this as a Father's Day card this year for my hubby and my Father and Father- in- law. I have such a hard time coming up with "Guy" cards sometimes.

Birthday Wishes, masculine or feminine or BOTH

This is the third card we made at my hostess stampers club and will make at tomorrow nights creative card making class. I like this card a lot. I think it's quite universal in a way that it can be used as both a masculine card for the man in your life OR it's feminine enough to where you can still send it to a female friend/family member as well don't you think? Making masculine cards is something I never think to make. I don't know why, I have a husband, father brother, etc., and the thing is, I am always making their cards last minute and I make promises to myself right then that my next class will be nothing but masculine cards just so I don't have to go through the rush of getting it done, but NOPE I procrastinate and never get it done. I forget!!! I think this card kinda fits the bill don't you? What do you think? Did you notice the paper piercing? I LOVE paper piercing!!! It's like the Big Shot, it adds that special touch to a card. With fall almost here, I thought the colors were appropriate too.

Stampin' Up!... Thinking of you (TWO)

Hello all! Today I share with you a card I CASE'D from LaLatty from SCS. Isn't this card so pretty. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make this card. I didn't use the same embossing folder as she did nor did I use a particular punch she did when using the oval punches and I believe our greeting/sentiment may be different, I can't remember what her card was, but I was in need of a thinking of you card, so that's what I turned this card into. My hostess stampers club really enjoyed making this card and we're going to make this card Thursday night at my creative card making class. I can't wait! I think this card has elegance written (well stamped) all over it, lol...

As many of you know I LOVE my Big Shot and I hardly make a card anymore without it. I just think it gives cards such a pretty look and feel to them. If you don't have a Big Shot, you really need one! ;)

Here is a fun card we made at my hostess stampers club and one of the four cards we're going to make at this Thursday's Creative Card Making class. This card was fun to make and I love the new lace ribbon border punch. I had no idea just how big it was. I was quite surprised when it arrived. I like how this card turned out. The card sorta has fall (autumn) like colors but still has a summer feel to it don't ya think? I didn't know what I wanted to do with this stamp set, but knew I wanted it. I just started randomly started stamping and this is what I came up with. I had NO expecatations at all.

I love this card! This is a card I did for a workshop back in April along with my hostess stampers club and creative card making class. Thanks to Jane for the great idea. I looked right over it in the mini catalog. Jane wanted to do this card at her workshop so I said, why not. Well actually I tweaked it a little. I didn't have all of the supplies that thesample had so I just used what i had on hand and VIOLA, this is what I came up with. You haveta love those mini catalogs and all thier great samples. It makes being a demonstrator so much easier.

A Day in the Life of a Pirate...Scrapbook Page

Hello everyone! Did you know that May is National Scrapbooking Month? Well in honor of this ever so popular and FUN and addicting hobby, I will be posting many, many scrapbooking layouts throughout the month of May. Scrapbooking was my first passion. I started almost 8 years ago when I had my first daughter. WOW, how time fly's by! I find scrapbooking to be sooooo addicting. I LOVE it!!!

My first layout of the month, is one that I did of my nephew when we went to Disney World back in January. He went to Pirates of the Caribbean and was dressed up as a Pirate. My Sister-in-law and I took our daughters to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to have have our daughters dressed up as princesses and my newphew was dressed up as a pirate. How cute is this. I have no boys, so I couldn't wait to take a few pictures of him and get them scrapped. Isn't he handsome, lol...look at his teeth, lol...

Crosses of Hope ...Happy Easter

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a very Happy Easter yesterday! My kids are back in school today and now it's time to get the house cleaned up for my oldest daughter's First Communion next Sunday. I may not be posting much this week because I have lots to do in preparation of it, but I did want to share my Easter card with you. It was actually a CASE from my daughters First Communion card I made. I still need to take pictures of it, and I do plan to do that next week and post it at a later time. Enjoy and have a GREAT day.
