Monday already? Well guess that means it’s time for the next edition of Buried! WWE Raw. Now a few weeks ago this man got off with just an honorable mention. But now Triple H has moved to the big leagues and will be the first burial of the night. Apparently a broken arm causes brain damage and affects a person’s speech. Or at least in Triple H’s case. His promo was littered mistakes and close calls. I’m not aware of anyone on the roster by the name of Job Cena. He also came dangerously close to calling John Cena, John Laurinaitis. Since becoming COO of he WWE, the only thing Triple has been able to do is squeeze into Vince McMahon’s suits.

Besides that and losing at WrestlMania, has he done anything good? Quite the opposite. Remember when he caused a company wide walk out? Superstars, announcers, cameramen, janitors, Ricardo Rodriguez. Everyone but about four people left him.

This week he managed to get the WWE sued not once, not thrice but twice in one night! Triple needs to lose the suit, throw on some trunks and dust off his old sledgehammer. The corporate thing just isn’t working for him. Until then, Triple H is BURIED!

While I’m on the topic of horrible corporate ex-wrestlers. John Laurinaitis is getting buried… Again. I would commend the man for finally getting rid of the Big Show, but he had to be a dick about it and embarrass the Big Show for about 15 minutes.

It’s a problem that a segment about firing the Big Show was longer than a match that that had the WWE champion in it. Why did he fire the Big Show? For making fun of his voice. But John Cena comes out, calls him a loser, and basically goes on a 15 minute tirade just embarrassing Laurinaitis. What does Cena get? A slap in the face. It seems to be a running gag that a slap in the face is the ultimate insult. John Laurinaitis never ceases to amaze me with his stupidity. What does amaze me, is how he seems to be winning people over with his “People Power.” A fellow MTR writer seems to have grown fond of Johnny Ace. It’s funny because on the first installment of Buried!, he showed pure animosity toward Ace. Now he’s jumped on the Laryngitis bandwagon. But this doesn’t change the fact the John Laurinaitis is BURIED!

The Big Red Failure makes an appearance tonight. Kane came back rocking what i thought was a pretty cool metallic mask. Then he took it off and revealed what looked like The Hurricane’s mask if it was on it’s period.

I was highly disappointed. Then he had a decent feud with Cena where it appeared that he was going to maybe force Cena to go heel. But all that feud was able to do was kill time, and kill Zack Ryder on a weekly basis

Kane was unable to make John Cena ‘Embrace The Hate.” Kane obviously pissed someone off because after the Cena, feud, Kane just kind of became irrelevant again. He’s gone fro being on tv every week, to fighting Randy Orton two PPVs in a row. Can’t get much worst than that right? WRONG! He will now be fighting Zack Ryder for the Over The Limit Preshow…. On YouTube! Kane, another wrestler who is a Grand Slam Champion, is fighting on YouTube. Who needs me? WWE is doing a pretty good job of burying Kane on their own. Kane is BURIED! But it was pretty awesome when he set J.R. on fire.

I was going to to bury Abraham Washington, but no one knows who the hell he is. So if anyone cares, tell me and I’ll bury him next week

Raw started at 9:00 PM, and Mr. Ace was on my television screen at 9:01 PM. By golly, Raw couldn’t have started any better. Anyway,back to your regularly scheduled program. Recently many of MY fans have asked if my love of Mr. Laurinaitis is in fact a ploy, an act even. People, I am offended. Why would I pretend to like the man with the golden voice, Ace? My legion of fans, this is obviously not a joke, now please, respect Mr.Ace, or sit the fuck down. #PeoplePower!

Triple H is so shit he not only got a burial from Blade, but from the Quarkster.

No,  I’m kidding, I’m not that heartless. Poor John Cena is going through a tough divorce, and he needs all the help he…LMAO what the fuck am I saying! This is the real story behind the divorce. It was reported a few weeks back that Mrs.Cena was backstage at RAW ,and was spotted with another muscular Johnny. This Johnny was Mr. Laurinaitis and the two were heard laughing and moaning in his office. It’s obvious that Mrs.Cena could not resist Laurinaitis’ charm. Many of you may be saying “Dude stop lying, none of this ever happened.” Well then Sheeple, you really need to get new sources. Johnny is a master manipulator, and is using his looks to completely emasculate Cena in front of his wife; so much so that she divorced his ass. Laurinaitis could say it was an … Ace, in the hole.

In the case that my fans are complete idiots, (jk?) the term “Ace in the hole is a joke”. Ace in the hole means “having an Ace as a hole card in poker”. Me saying Ace in the hole is a double entendre. On one hand it means that Laurinaitis can use the advantage of fucking Cena’s wife to win the match. It also refers to Ace fucking his wife aka Ace (penis) in the hole (Cena’s wife’s Vagina)

Ace made a grown ass man cry. I don’t give a fuck what you think of Ace ,but he made the Big Show Cry. Only one other man has done this, the late Eddie Guerrero. So…mathematically speaking, Ace is just as Badass as Eddie Guerrero. Umm..People Power?  Well that’s all people. Make sure to watch Over the Limit to see Cena get his ass beat by my boy Ace !

MY TAKE

I highly recommend you go to the theater and watch The Avengers .The movie does it’s fair share to keep comic book enthusiast happy and satisfied in the theater. One example of comic fanfare is the scene in which Thor and The Hulk are battling it out, and The Hulk attempts to pick up a thrown Mjölnir (Thor’s hammer) but is unable to.  I am very happy to see and report, that Disney owning the movie rights to Marvel studios has not affected the grit and darkness of The Avengers plight.  Every member of the Avengers ensemble steps up to the plate to deliver a grand slam in terms of the acting. The graphics were astounding; the use of 3D was on point from beginning to end.

However for all of the great strides and benchmarks The Avengers made in the comic movie genre, the first act of The Avengers was lackluster to say the least and downright boring to be honest.  Story and character development are what kept my head nodding off and me sighing for the good part of an hour. I do not want to spoil the movie, so I will be quaint with my explanations.

As far as my gripes with the story, in the first act of The Avengers, not explaining the new force that is enabling the reused villain to cause such chaos more fully is nonsensical to me.  Though I can respect the financial gains of ringing out this background story in an Avengers sequel, the vagueness just didn’t feel right to me. Another element lacking in the first act of The avengers is the lack of avengers and action on the screen.  To get through the whole first act of The Avengers and not see all of the avengers and furthermore not see much intense action is absurd and led to me leaving the edge of my seat and losing interest in the film. Also I was not impressed by the soundtrack of the movie, this is not to say it is horrible, but the soundtrack of this movie is nothing special in comparison to the other aspects of The Avengers.

RECOMMENDATION

Bottom line, The Avengers deserves to be viewed by anyone who enjoys action and/or comics. However, the weakness of the first act and lack of action kept me from deeming this a five-star feature.

Truth moment – I never watched Dark Shadows on TV, as I was made in the 80’s. Nor did I watch the reboot in the 90′s. But still, it having been the very first show about vampires must have been pretty cool back then. I am sure the topic must have had some criticism, unlike today, where vampires are everywhere.

From what I understand, in the TV version, Jonathan Frid as Barnabus Collins was quite popular. However, in this film adaptation, I was able to see Barnabus played by someone much more important. That man, ladies and gents, is the incomparable Johnny Depp. The film was directed by Tim Burton and has a great cast besides Mr. Depp: Michelle Pfeiffer as Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, Eva Green as Angelique Bouchard, Chloe Moretz as Carolyn Stoddard, Gulliver McGrath as David Collins, Bella Heathcote as Victoria Winters / Josette du Pres and Helena Bonham Carter as Dr. Julia Hoffman, to name more than a few.

Opinion:

I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Dark Shadows. I kept hearing from friends that “the TV show was not funny, why does the movie seem funny”? Well friends, I don’t know, and I don’t care. Obviously, they wanted to breathe new life (forgive the pun) into it for a new audience. Honestly, the sarcasm-laced comedy was one of my favorite parts of the film. I don’t think I would have particularly liked a more serious version of the movie. We all know Burton movies are dark, yes, but they all have that certain snark that has become synonymous of his work. I think that the plot of the movie played out well, again, with my not knowing what I am supposed to see in correlation to the show. There were, in my opinion, a few surprises that were kind of odd. (Carolyn being a werewolf was a little out of left field.) I definitely would have liked little bit more of the growing relationship between Barnabus and Victoria interspersed between the main plot. This was a main gripe of mine. After all, she is Barnabus’ love interest. Their combined characters were too cast-off in terms of the plot, and their end was rushed. In fact, I felt that Bella Heathcote’s character really wasn’t that important at all. Her moving in with the Collins-Stoddards was washed away immediately by other plot points, and her story went nowhere until the very end.

Overall, ebsides the lacking story, I thought the acting itself was well done for what it was. Pfeiffer was fantastic as Elizabeth and it was nice to see Chloe Moretz in another type of film (as all I see when I look at her is Hit Girl). Gulliver McGrath was charming as little David. Collinwood Manor itself was beautiful, as were the surrounding areas shown in the film. I felt it to be a perfect setting for a Tim Burton movie.

Recommendation:

While I wouldn’t say this is a blockbuster film, it is a good watch, especially if you are a Depp fan.

What is up my fellow Acers and welcome to another electrifying episode of Buried! SmackDown starts with an extremely garbage TAG TEAM MATCH. This leads me to wonder, is there an amendment in the SmackDown that states there must be a TAG TEAM Match on every episode? Jericho, Randall, and Sheamus all enter the ring but poor, poor Alberto had to walk out. WALK..OUT! People, where the fuck is his car?! Did the WWE finally realize that no one cares about Del Rio’s rich guy gimmick, and that paying to rent these cars cost the studio way more money than filming the Marine 3. But the bigger atrocity is not Del Rio’s hard walk of shame down the ring. No ladies and gentlemen, it was Booker T’s butchering of Mr. John Laurinaitis’s last name.  Booker had the audacity, to address Mr. Ace as Larenitus. Not Laurinaitis! This failure to get a simple last name right will NOT be tolerated! Booker T, “I’m coming for you.”

I will not be burying this man, but PRAISING him! Mr. Daniel Bryan himself! For someone who is for spousal abuse, I completely commend his treatment of AJ.  His ability to simply hustle from Gail Kim, to AJ, and now to Kaitlyn, is truly extraordinary. As a matter of fact, after he is done with said women, he personally buries them. Once Daniel was done bunning Gail, she was fired. On the spot! Once AJ had a taste of “The Bryan”, she became a psychopathic ex who almost fell for the charm of that piece of shit, Kofi Kingston. This begs the question, what’ll happen to Kaitlyn? Will she develop an eating habit? Or worse? Fall madly in love with King of the Jobbers, Dante Bateson (Derrick Bateman). The one thing that makes this story even better is that Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are dating in real life, and we all know what happened to her. Too all of Daniel Bryans squeezes , I give you a heart-felt Burial.

Who is getting buried next you may be asking? Well children that answer is simple… frequent offender Big Show. The Prince of Relevance Mr. Johnny Ace did the world a social justice by giving Daniel the win over Big Show. He even got in the ring and confronted the Beast of 1000 Burials and personally confronted him. Ace called Show what EVERYONE thinks of him, a freak! Show stood and took it like a fucking child. Show moped around and gave a half-hearted apology. You are the ring with a god who revolutionized the wrestling industry. Better yet, the man not only makes eye contact with you, but speaks to you?! If I was in your shoes and Ace talked to me, I would have bowed, nay, kissed his feet… if he deemed me worthy enough.

Honorable mention goes to Theo Long who deserves everything bad in life that has ever happened to him…including the herpes Aksana gave him.
