Make Attractive Crystal ball with Corel Draw

Corel Draw is one of powerfull vector composer. Maybe most simply than Adobe Illustrator. But the end result produced quite nice and clean. And on this post, I gave a tutorial to make a simple crystal ball using Corel Draw.

And follow this step carefully :

1. Open your Corel Draw ( I recomended to use X4 version ). And create new document.

2. Make circle object on the toolbox and in the same time, hit ctrl button to make it symmetrical.

3. Click on the object and fill the eclipse with gradient color with clicking fountain fill. Then, in fountain fill windows, set the color like in the picture below.

4. Remove the outline by clicking on the object - pen tool on toolbox - none. And your ball will look like this.

5. Give the eclipse some crystall effect in teh top of the ball. Make small eclipse ( none outline ) like this picture and make it transparency.

Hint : After you click transparency tool, click on the object then drag to other side. See the property in the top windows.

6. After that, put drop shadow behind the ball. use drop shadow, click on the green ball and click drop shadow tool in toolbox. Set the shadow like this picture below.

and your ball will loke like this :

7. We will give small star in front ofthe ball, click on polygon tool ( or press "Y" on keyboard ). Click on your polygon, then click shape tool ( F10 ) you will see the point arround the polygon. Still with shape tool, pull one point while pressing ctrl key to the inside of polygon. And you'll see five point-star.

Make gradient to star like this picture below.

After that, make countur arround the star. press ctrl + F9 you will see new windows.

After you set the countur. press ctrl + K to brake the countur. Then click the black star and make it green. After that, drag the star to center of ball.
