All Malaysians know that the Myvi is Perodua cars in Malaysia . But do you know the range of design produced or created ? When the car is launched or released to enter the Malaysian market ? Let's talk about Perodua Myvi this time. Hopefully the information about this car can be for the benefit all of us.

Perodua Myvi issued since 2005. And it is produced by the country of Malaysia. Myvi created with the collaboration of the Perodua , Toyota ( Passo ) & Daihatsu ( Siryon / Boon ). Myvi is the best selling car in Malaysia since 2006 to 2010 .

Perodua Myvi car design is like supermini or subcompact hatchback. And has been produced in five variants starting in 2005 up to the year 2012 , namely : -

1 ) . 1.0 SR ( 5 speed manual )

2 ) . 1.3 SX ( 5 speed manual )

3 ) . 1.3 EZ ( 4 speed auto)

4 ) . 1.3 SXi ( 5 speed manual )

5 ) . 1.3 EZi "Premium " ( 4 speed auto) .

The " Special Edition " Myvi also entered the market, it has a bodykit that includes bumpers that have been modified, Sideskirts , Spoiler and Dual Airbags (ABS).

Performance and Myvi Design

Myvi has two water cooler, four-stroke engine which is derived from : -

1 ). The first generation of Daihatsu Siryon (A 1.0 liter EJ- VE engine with three cylinders together )

2 ). Toyota Passo ( 1.3 liter K3 -VE engine with four cylinders )

Both engines are using Dynamic Variable Valve Timing -called DVVT system and conventional electronic fuel injection, namely EFI .

Previously, the unusual characteristics of cars produced by Perodua has inherited from Siryon for Myvi. Among them are : -

2 ). Foamed Urethane injected into the center pole AND pole for sound insulation

Design of new Myvi 2008

Perodua Myvi launched a new design of on August 22, 2008 . It has a front bumper, rear bumper, front bonnet, the design of the instrument panel, the front grille has been modified design, MP3/WMA player, seat fabric design, alloy wheels and dashboard color .

For Myvi 1.3 Premium model , it is provided with a new UV protection glass, enclosed with your new audio system and Bluetooth capability USB AND the seat which can adjust .

Perodua also has launched a new model of Myvi SE " Special Edition " on October 10, 2008. It is available with Manual or Automatic transmission with the 1.3L engine . The " Special Edition " is equipped with : -

Reception

As it is the Malaysian national car maker, the launch of the Perodua Myvi is very important. This is because it is the first time the Perodua competed head-to-head with Proton. And models produced by Proton Savvy also classified .

To all the readers knowledge, in the year 2005-2006 Myvi 1.3 has been dubbed the " Car of the Year 2005-2006 " for beating his opponent the Proton Savvy 1.2 great for the year. This news was published in Autocar ASEAN magazine which is a magazine for car buyers in Malaysia.

A local financial news media the Edge The Daily also reported that Myvi sales have far exceeded initial expectations and is very good car sales since its launch in April.

Perodua admitted three model has experienced a price of RM 2,000 as reported by Utusan Malaysia on June 10, 2013

President and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the price reduction was done through the launch of the S-Series in March, 2013.

S-Series models are introduced that includes a number of new specifications and additional free maintenance package for three years (Including other variants of the S-Series) which is said to be worth about RM 4,500 to RM 5,600.

All S-Series variants for all three models is around RM 2,000 cheaper than the high-specification variants, but still offers better features than the basic variants available.

Viva experienced a decline of 5.4 per cent to RM 35,174 , Myvi four per cent to RM 48,424 and Alza 3.4 per cent to RM 57,017.

Utusan Malaysia earlier reported, Mohammad Madani make a statement that some models also saw a decline in price between 0.7 and 11 percent involving cars produced by Proton, Honda, Peugeot and Volkswagen.

Last Saturday, Proton has also launched affordable Saga SV models priced between RM 33,438 and RM 36,888 which is about RM 5,000 lower than the previous model.

CEO Perodua Confirms That No Recall On The New Myvi Model

August, 2013 Perodua CEO Confirms that there is no recall on the New Myvi model output

President / Chief Executive Officer of Perodua Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh confirmed that there is no recall on the new Perodua Myvi model or any other model of Myvi as has been reported in a news report by The Malaysian Reserve.

He said, "There is a cessation of operations for a day at our factory on 26 August 2013 as some parts of the vehicle which does not comply with the standards set during normal testing process. But we restart our operations the next day of 27 August 2013 after successfully identifying the problem, "he said.

Datuk Aminar Rashid also stated in the report that says, Perodua to stop production for three days is not correct.

Perodua closed as scheduled to celebrate the 20th anniversary Gala Raya of the week in the City, and also attended by Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Perodua Launched Myvi Extreme and SE in June 2011

June 2011 was officially launched Perodua Myvi Extreme AND SE with a 1.5L engine that starts with the price of RM 50,900.00 to RM 61,700.00

Perodua officially has launched two new variants of Myvi in June 2011. Launched two variants of Myvi SE and Myvi Extreme that each has a new engine with a capacity of 1.5L.

Prices offered are as low as RM 50,900.00 to RM 61,700.00 , depending on the specification .

Perodua Myvi Extreme and SE is to appear more attractive and stylish, more sporty body kit and smart, comfortable and powerful. The latest release from Perodua is expected to receive a warm welcome from the people of Malaysia .

For SE variants, there are three versions are offered :- Manual , Automatic and Multimedia. Multimedia SE version comes exclusively along Automatic gearbox only. The difference between the Myvi SE Multimedia 'Manual and Automatic' version is equipped with the Interior Multimedia Navigation System touch screen the same as the Extreme variant .

Perodua Myvi Extreme 1.5L comes with Manual and Automatic transmissions for customer choice. Myvi Extreme has three attractive colors such as : -

1 ) . Yellow ( Solid Majestic Yellow ) New Color

2 ) . White ( Solid Ivory White )

3 ) . Black ( Metallic Ebony Black )

Extreme and SE variant has a 1.5L DOHC 16V engine that produces maximum power DVVT of 102hp @ 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 136Nm @ 4,000 rpm. Perodua also confirmed that the acceleration from 0-100 km / hours can be done in under 10 seconds , compared with 1.3 variant on record 12.5 seconds.

Apart from horse power and torque to give the feeling of luxury real driving fun enough, this 1.5L engine used were said to be more responsive and produce smoother acceleration . Its safety features like ABS ( Anti-lock Breaking System) , EDB ( Electronic Brake Distribution ) , BA ( Brake Assist) and Dual SRS Airbags become a standard feature for both variants .

Perodua also put the projected sales volume will continue to increase each month with the launch of the 2011 version of Myvi model is more powerful and sporty this . And will maintain the Perodua Myvi is the best selling car in the local market .

Perodua also posted record orders for 34,000 units of Myvi model includes 18,000 units of which are delivered to customers until September 8, 2011 .

Perodua has been planned in October and November to export Myvi new version to market Mauritius and Sri Lanka . Whereas at the beginning of next year to try hand market Perodua Myvi to Fiji .
