There are a lot of information on the internet about how you can get there but only few give info on where you should go and how much money you should bring.

Listed below are 2 of the most important things you should do once you step on the island of Siquijor:

1. Find a place to stay. Beach resorts cost more than cottages (php 1,500-3,000 per day). If you want a cheaper place to stay, contact me and I’ll ask my aunt who runs our place to have our cottage reserved for you (800-1,500 per day). These cottages are just a few steps aways from the beach so it is very much worth it. Here’s what our cottages look like:

   

2. Find a means of transportation. You have 2 options: rent a multicab or rent some motorbikes. My friends and I decided to hire a multicab on our first day in Siquijor since there were 6 of us. The usual price for multicab tours is around php1,000-1,500 per day but we got ours for only php800 since our aunt helped us find one of her friends who had a multicab.



The driver instantly becomes your tour guide so don’t hesitate to ask for suggestions.

The second option is much fun than the first one though. Each motorbike costs around php350-450 per day but we got ours for only php250 since the owners were friends of my my aunt.

Here are the tour spots you shouldn’t miss when you’re in Siqujor:

• Salagdoong Beach - perfect place to camp out and snorkel. Room rates: php800 - 2 people, 1,500-family. If you bring your own tent and camp by the beach, you only pay php70. If you use their tent (good for 6-8 people) you pay only php300
• Lazi Church and Convent - historic and peaceful.
• Coco Groove (5 star beach resort) - yummy food and friendly waiters. Prices are high obviously.
• Cambugahay Falls - cool waters, romantic setting. Pay only for parking space (php20-30)
• Don Deezco - water sports and activities (I got to enjoy the water sports there for free because of connections so I don’t really have an estimate on how much the water activities are)
• Cantabon Cave - exciting and adventurous. php100 per head for the tour guide and lamps.

There are many more things to do in Siquijor and it’s up to you on how you want to spend each day there. But for sure, your stay in Siquijor will be one that’s fun-filled, enjoyable and memorable.

You might have read in one of my posts that I have been invited for a UK nursing interview. At that point, I prayed to God that if I did get the job, it will be a sign form Him that I had to pursue my nursing career. But even with that prayer, I had no intention of leaving my online freelance jobs.

Well God is good and He gave me the job. And ever since I signed the 3-year contract, I have been quite busy juggling my online freelancing and the completion of paperworks to be submitted to the nursing agency. For that reason, I was unable to update my blogs.

As of now, I am patiently waiting for whatever instruction the agency sends to me. And by the way, I’ve been promoted as staff nurse in the Hemodialysis Unit. Although I am not at all confident with the changes that are happening in my life, I know that these are just parts of growing up and advancing my career.

My online job, although not at all that demanding, has kept me happy and busy all the same.

I am just glad to be where I am now.

if you survived the first heartbreak, you can definitely survive the other ones. it won’t be easy but you just have to.

and believe me, in love, nothing is ever enough. if you think you’ve given your all, you haven’t. actually, you held back. and i admired you for that. you knew this will possibly happen but still you pursued to get into a relationship with someone you knew will have a negative outcome in the end. i admire you for having the courage to face that fact. And now that the worst has happened, i know you can recover.

Believe me, there is no greater pain than to love and be loved. And similarly, there is no greater joy than to realize that you have loved and was loved in return.

Just remember kim na ug unsa may mahitabo sa imo love life, dili na sya determining factor kunds unsa mahitabo sa imong whole life. you are strong and you know that.

and as always, i will be here for you. maski layo ta, i know kabalo ka na love kaayo tika and i dont want you to think na di na nimo kaya mu love balik.

just enjoy the joys and pains in life and realize that you get something out of every good or bad thing that happens to you.
