I'll be honest and admit that I'm not a fan of 3oh!3... Coz i think their song a lil cray cray... XD sorry 3oh!3 fans out there... hahaha... & since I'm not a fan n all, I didnt know who sang this song the 1st time I heard it... Kinda surprised that its 3oh!3 coz it sounds different... but then I watched their video & yeap, they're still cray cray... Either, still a good song... I remember waking up one morning & the first thing that was in my head is this song... crazy huh? XD

Hey people... How ya doin?

Me, not so fine... I have a post in mind that I wanted blog about since last week... & if that post was drafted yesterday, the title would be "My New Boy Toy"...

Unfortunately today, I have to say goodbye to my boy toy...& change the title to "Goodbye My Little Mischief".

I woke up this morning n my mum told me Loki was found dead outside my house...

Just so u know, this is my Loki...

Not this Loki ya...

Eventhough I wish it was... :P

A stranger left him in front of my house about a month ago... He was still a lil kitten so i decided to take him in... Who knows maybe ade org mau adopt.

1st day at home...

But nobody did, so i ended up taking him as my own and named him after the God of Mischief, Loki... Haha... Its not bcoz I'm a Hiddlestoner ok...

My mum actually chose tat name while watching Avengers last year... She said "If we were to have another cat, we shud name it Loki"... So yeah, tats how he got the name...

And the name fits him purrfectly... Loki is hands down the naughtiest cat I've ever had! A mischief indeed... & super stubborn too... But thats what made me smile... Walaupun jahat nak mampus, he still manja gile...

He's with me for only a month plus but it still hurts loosing him. Maybe because its too shocking for me. I didn't expect it at all. Just yesterday he was all happy playing around and annoy everybody at home... Still cant believe it... Maybe I shouldn't have let him go out last night... Maybe... Haiz...

So now... Sadly I have no one to teman me watch TV,

No one to walk me to my car whenever i go out, no one to greet me when i come home & no one for me to be silly with whenever I'm down... :(

Minion Madness!

The minion madness is heeerreeeeee~

Unless u have been living under a rock, u peeps probably know about the minion madness that has been going on for the past few weeks...

Of course, all thanks to McDonalds!

These cute lil minions are now "available" at all McD's in Malaysia... SORT OF...

HAHAHA~

For those yg really2 tinggal bawah batu, news flash: Crazy people are rushing to buy these lil toys, queuing for hours, then SIAP PECAHKAN PINTU just to get those lil buggers...

I was shocked when I found out that these minions were sold out on the very 1st day... Fortunately I wasnt one of the crazy people who collects the minions... X minat sangat lah... But my sister does... and I actually had to drive her to THREE McDs just to get those minions (things I do for people I love)...

Then a week ago I teman my friends pegi beli... then I tumpang beli sekali for my sis... & we went at midnight thinking that not many people would go lah... I WAS WROOONG! At about 11.20pm, people already start queuing... CRAZY! Nasib baik I didnt que... Coz I would be fucking pissed off & curse everyone if I did... I'm not the person who have that much patience... So yeah, while 2 of my frens was queueing, me and other frens was sitting at our table making fun of those people. XD I guess the worst part of all is when I see a GUYS/grown-ass BOYS were all happy & excited, POSING & TAKING PICTURES with their adorable minions... BLUERRRGHHHH!!! COMMON LAH! BE A MAN lah bro!

*U peeps see why I'm still single? Coz guys these days are bunch of sissies!*

And then theres a bunch of chicks behind us... They bought like almost 10 happy meals siot! N then bouncing happily while carrying their trays, konon mcm act cute... BLUEK~

Oh and then, I guess people are so excited when they carry their trays of Happy Meals sampai air pun tumpah... Total spilled drinks I saw on that night: 3... Pool of cokes everywhere~ X senonoh!

I have to say... the scene on that day was pretty pathetic... Human eh?

At first I just dont get it, how can it be sold out so fast... Then turns out people have been "borong-ing" the minions for selling purpose... Confession: When I first heard it, I thought it was freaking GENIUS! I oso wan go borong lah!... But then I pikir, seriously got idiot wanna buy meh? I saw on mudah.com, people are selling 1 toy for RM 50... SIAO MEH??? Then on e-bay got people bid till 1000+??? WTF???

Sungguh tak berbaloi!

Lagi baik go and buy the original merchandise loh... If u look at the quality, its pretty bad... To be honest I was shocked when I saw how bad the quality was... Take a look at these pictures and tell me I'm wrong...

Horrible right???

I know McD toys dont have THE BEST quality, but this is quite terrible...

So people, dont waste your money lah... Spend wisely... Do some charity...

People have been saying that Happy Meal is for kids, and should be enjoyed by kids and not adults... Yeah, so thanks to U CRAZY MINION PEOPLE, people like me who enjoy buying Happy Meal toys look bad.

I grew up buying Happy Meal toys... From kecik sampai now at the age of 23++, I still do buy Happy Meal ok... but only with nice toys lah.... I dont buy those My Little Ponies stuff... I buy Spongebob ok...

Anywayz just to share with u peeps about this "new" exhibition in Melaka...

I was driving back from work & I spotted this....

The exibition is held at the Bastion House Melaka.

Keluar kat newspaper leh... So yeah the geek/nerd/dork in me was kinda excited... Siap pikir nak amik gambar with Iron Man just to rub into my fren's face... LOL

Entrance tickets is Rm 10 for adults and RM 5 for lil brats :P

Good news is they dont charge for camera... In fact, the dude even said "Feel free to take some pictures"... Darn it, I shud have brought my camera... So here are the pics that I took usin my "trusty" HTC Desire V...

Coz it DE-STRESS THURSDAY!!!

The last time I had De-stress Thursday was in 2011... LOL so long time ago! I've been busy I guess... Haha~

Anywayz, I've stressing for the last few days... Why? Its THAT time of the month loh.... PAYROLL! XD bukan itu~ itu~ lei...

Hahaha yeah, almost end of the month, kena prepare payroll. WinCom System SUCKS! But wat to do... terpaksa loh...

KK, forget bout those stressful stuff! Get back to our De-Stress Thursday!

So NGAM, HANGOVER 3 sudah keluar! Hiak~ Hiak~

I did hesitate going out for a movie alone... Dunno why (Takut jumpe orang yg x sepatutnye)... But I decided to be stubborn and just go anywayz... And I'm glad I did coz it was worth it!

Ticket for one... U GOT PROBLEM? *shows fist*

Why did I go alone? The reason is quite simple... nobody wan go with me... XD I think lah... I did announce on Twitter but no one respond maa (LOL mcm lah aku ade byk follower)... makna nye xde org mau ikot loh... hahahaha~ Plus... I CANNOT WAIT!

ANYHOW, pegi seorang ade kebaikan nye... I sat right in the middle... and my jiran, are both cuties XD... HAHAHAHA~ Ok it means nothing... XD

LETS TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE!

The final Hangover movie... I am sad... Although the movie is F*CKING FUNNY, but I feel like the ending is not epic enough... Its the final Hangover movie! And the ending is like so~ so~ oni... Hmmmm... Oh well, at least I had fun... The formula is definitely different from the first 2 movies, which good but somehow I think I miss the whole hangover thing. Well the movie is called The Hangover. XD And I notice that this 3rd one is slightly darker and there are some quite disturbing moments... poor giraffe... Either way, I enjoyed the movie... Just what I needed to de-stress, a fun, crazy, raunchy movie... Izit the best one so far? Nope... The first one is still the best... and Bradley Cooper looked hotter back then... Hahahahaha... dah tua liao... KK I think I wont talk much bout the movie. Nanti terlepas spoiler pulak...XD

Oh n if I had to rate it, I'll give it a 3 stars... Go watch it people... :D

So after the movie, I planned to get a big slice of chocolate cake! But then I was too kenyang from drinking a whole cup of Coke... I usually wont finish my drink, but dunno why 1st time siot I habis kan my drink XD

I was craving for something salty, so I decided on PRETZEL!!! Konon nak yg original but then I saw the Caramel Almond flavour... CARAMEL... MANA CAN SAY NO???

WITH CARAMEL DIP! XD

After I buying pretzel, I decided to head home... And in the car, I drove and ate my pretzel at the same time while blasting Macklemore on the radio... N yes I did put my hands up like the ceiling cant hold us... XD

And just like that... I am stress free... hahahaha~ Senang saje nak release stress kan?

Yes I do have loads more stuff to post, so sabar ye... man man lai~

So, it's been a while since I've done any movie review... the last one I did was Avengers... kan? XD haha I pun lupa... Mcm biase I'm lazy but then at the same time, I rarely watch movies these days. I think this year I only watched 3 movies... PATHETIC, I know. N those 3 movies are Warm Bodies (I WANT A ZOMBIE BOYFIE!), G.I Joe (BORING GILE), and Iron Man 3...

Oh by the way, this post is "requested" by a minah yg bernama Pavithra... So Papadom, I dedicate this post to u... Sort of... HAHAHAHA~

So here we go... My movie review for Iron Man 3...

A lil confession before I start: I'll be honest and say that I never was a fan of Iron Man. As a kid, I always LOOVE my cartoons and my fave always have been X-Men & Batman.... I remember watching the Iron Man cartoon and it bored the crap out of me. And guess what, I found the cartoon on youtube! The very same episode that I watched as a kid and decided not to watch it ever again...

First impression: not impressed XD...

So then I didnt even watch the 1st movie but instead I watched the 2nd one. Itu pun bcoz my ex yg tarik me pegi tgk... if not jangan harap lah~ And even the 2nd movie was boring... If not mistaken I tertido XD haha~ and seriously I dont even remember anything about the movie except for this scene...

The only thing that I remembered about the movie... Whiplash~ XD

I only watched the first movie like a few weeks before Iron Man 3... All thanks to TV 2... or was it TV 3? Doesnt matter lah~ XD Though the first one is better than the second one... haha!

Okok enough history talk ... Lets talk about Iron Man 3... So here is my humble opinion and non biased review for the movie:

I THINK THIS MOVIE IS SICK YO! XD I enjoyed every minute of it. Its got that good balance of action, humour, kancheong-ness, and also drama... and not to forget the unexpected surprise (The Mandarin XD) Though I do wish I could see more suit action but its nice to see how Tony Stark does his Macgyver magic... And how epic was it when all he summoned all his Iron Man suits...

Too bad he had to blow them off... *pfffttt* dumb! How could u do that??? U blow them up just for a women? XD wuss~ hahah... oh btw, Pepper Pots can kick butt too! N her abs... I think RDJ pun kalah XD

Haha so overall, Iron Man 3 is pretty awesome. But is it as awesome as The Avengers? Nehhh... But almost lah... haha... I'll give it 4.5 stars :D

Its an awesome movie... bla~ bla~ bla~ go check it out! XD

After the movie, me and my friends had a "little" debate. No cat fights involved but it was quite intense, until I almost get my claws out... *MIOOOW*

Beware: I'm about to get my nerd/geek/fangirl mode on...

First debate: Iron Man is the best superhero ever....

PUHLEEEZZZZ~ No freaking way... Put him against Magneto, he will get crushed macam tin kosong and Magneto dont even have to lay his fingers on him...

Even the Hulk can beat his ass... Lets face it... He is cool, but he's not the strongest. And the only reason he is cool is because of Robert Downy Jr. Some people say he was born to play Tony Stark... & I somewhat agree... The dude got swag, "like a boss" attitude and very charming indeed. No wonder some of my friends loved him so much... which leads to out second debate...

Second debate: Robert Downy Jr is better looking than Chris Evans...

When I heard that I was like "WHATTTT????"

I was literally surprised!

Then after my mind processed what my friend just said, I was like...

*speechless*

Then after a while, I was like...

EHeeheheehehehe~

Then the more I think about it, I was like....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~

RIDICULOUS!

& finally I was like....

REALLY???

Well maybe... for them lah... I dont know... XD They said his eyes are pretty...

"Are my eyes pretty???"

I'll have to admit, RDJ does look good in the movie. N yes, his eyes looked pretty (but not pretty enough for me to remember his eye colour) XD But how come only in this movie everyone was buzzing about his good looks? Why nobody said anything during previous Iron Man installments? Why nobody said anything when he's in Tropic Thunder, Zodiac or Sherlock Holmes?

Why didnt they say anything during the Avengers? Hmmmm MAYBE bcoz there was other actors there who is better looking? Lets say the dude who played Captain America??? :P HAHA~

Anywayz, different people have different taste I guess... I'm a fan of Evans ever since Fantastic Four when I was in Form 4... So yeah, CE FOREVER!!!!

Ehehehehe~ oh btw, ummm.... did anyone notice that Loki guy (Tom Hiddleston) is kinda a cutie... XD (CE forever konon)...

I dunno when it happened, but all of a sudden I'm obsessed about him. Maybe Loki hypnotized me with his gorgeous blue eyes... or maybe its his accent... or izzit that voice? IDK, but one thing is for sure...

Hello people!

Happy Wesak Day!

N of course, HAPPY HOLIDAY!!! Long weekend... Syok eh?

Anywayz, since its the holidays & I got nothing to do, me update me bloggie ya~

Lets pick where we left off... My "quest" for Japanese food :D

I actually went to this place when it first opened last year. I even drafted this post last year... but I typed half way n then tergendala XD (maybe coz the food x sedap tats y not inspired to continue writing XD)

So the "quest" continues~ to find good Japanese restaurant in Melaka~

And this time I went to Ohan Japanese Restaurant...

When I went there, baru bukak lagi... so quite byk org oso... when I reached there, the hostest asked me if I had reservations... of coz I didnt make any XD but luckily ade table... Oni 2 pax, mana2 pun blh sumbat kan? :P

So I ordered the usual things that I would order...

Salmon Sashimi

Not that fresh... I forgot the price, but I do remember that it is more expensive than Wa Zen...

Then I also ordered Unagi Bento... ME LOVE UNAGI!

The unagi was alrite...The only problem was the rice... I find the rice a lil to fragant XD... its just my personal taste lah... Maybe lain org suka kot... but for me, the wangi-ness is quite a turn-off... kinda jelak after eating half of it... first time I x habis makan when I makan Japanese food...

My partner in crime ordered (i forgot the name) the one with the beef strips & egg with rice...

It was beef, so I didnt taste em. My partner in crime didnt finish it either... Comment: Oklah, but at the bottom of the bowl is kinda watery... gelii... XD

And of course, kalau Vsia x order maki when go Japanese restaurant mmg x sah!

Again, I forgot the name... SORRY! XD Dah berbulan edi leh I pegi sini... mana blh ingat XD

Appearance wise, mmg cannot lawan Wa Zen punye... Wa Zen nye maki looks so cantik, u dont wanna eat it. Plus the layer of the rice is quite thick, so u cant really taste much of the ingredients... and also kinda too big to sumbat dalam mulut XD

And UNFORTUNATELY for us, the chef added in extra ingredient to our maki...

HAIR!

If u look closely, got 1 strand of hair terselit with the rice... no impossible its ours kan???

Nasib baik I only had one... & nasib baik this sepet eyes nampak... or else... EEeeeeeee~

We didnt make a big scene out of it lah... we just called the waiter & inform them. They offered a new one but then since the maki x sedap, so x payah lah... just cancel the order je...

Environment wise, the restaurant looks really elegant... Nice place lah... Just that I'm surprised to a chipped spoon at a new place...

Tsk~ Tsk~

So overall was I a happy customer?

Not really... Taste wise, okok lah... A lil overpriced, and the whole HAIR thing... I dont think I would come back... Pegi somewhere else lagi baik kot...

N that's it... just a short post... I dunno why it took me months to finish up... XD LAZY A$$!

Hey there people!!!

Woot~ Woot~ Here I am feelin kinda "rajin" & sort of "inspired" so I've decided to update my poor bloggie yg I've abandoned for quite a long time... :D It's been a while since I updated my blog so I've decided to give y'all a lil update on whats going on about me before I start blogging about other stuff :)

I guess u can say I have been quiet lately... I didnt really update much about my life... I think even some of my friends didnt know wats up with my life...

Hahahaha... yeah, I'm still flyin solo~ coz I like it that way... STRESS FREE!!! XD and the funny part is, no matter how many times I tell my friends that I have no one special in my life, THEY DONT BELIEVE ME!!!

Just the other day si kedut thinks that I have a secret boyfie that I'm hiding... XD why would I wanna do that??? Trust me, I would let u all know if I had one (or two... or MORE) boyfie so that u peeps will stop bugging me...

My work life has its ups & downs, but I am learning so I wont be complaining much. Other than HR, I dunno how come I got another responsiblity as GM's PA... menambahkan kerja but I managed to do them lah... so in conclusion, my work life is kinda stable... The only frustrating part of my job is the payroll system... Effing dumb system! I hate u WinCom! :P Hahaha~ other than that I am fine...

Funny story is that ever since I got this new job, I had few other job offers... But since I'm happy with where I am now, I decided to stay... besides, I dont want my resume to reflect me as a job hopper... no good ma... haha~

Lets cut short on the worky-worky part... Coz u never know who is reading *wink* but seriously, I'm fine there... Fine... thats good enough... XD

How is Vriesia really feeling overall???

Just the other day I almost had an emotional breakdown & I dont even know what happened. But if I had to guess, maybe its because I've been holding back all the emotions for waaay too long. XD

Sometimes people ask me "How are you?You ok?"

"OKKKKKKK" is my standard reply... Because do I have to tell them every single problem that I had?

NOPE.

Do I have to tell people that I'm stressed?

Do I have to tell people that I almost lost my fat cat YY coz she was very ill few months back?

Do I tell people about my crazy nose bleeds?

Do I have to tell people I "lepaked" at the hospital ER waiting room from midnite to morning, waiting for my mum to be discharged?

Do I have to tell people that few weeks ago, I had to send my mum to the clinic early in the morning and then go back and get ready for work after that?

Do I have to tell people that sometimes I wish that I could just stay in Club Med & never return?

Do I tell people that sometimes I wish I could just runaway from home?

Do I tell people to just leave me alone???

Tak payah lah kot~

I'm not the type of person who would blurt out all their problem to someone... Why? Malas... If I blurt out my problems and worries to someone, what can the person do? Sympathy? Advice? No thanx... Ya, saya ego, tell me somthing I dont know... but the last time I took an advice from someone, it turned out pretty bad... Since then I only trust my own kitty senses XD I know maybe I shud talk to my family about my problems, but neh... they have their own worries too... I'm an adult so I'm gonna solve my problems on my own...

I know its not healthy to keep everything to urself, but I do have a diary to blurt it all out... Just that these few months I got lazy so I belum luahkan my perasaan lagi... hehe~ no wonder XD

So yeah, thats me... Selfish me who only keeps everything to myself... I'm not a caring person, therefore I dont share :P

All the stress, all the anger, all the problems, & sometimes other people's problem as well, all kept inside... How do I manage it?

Its actually quite simple... Do somthing that makes me happy.

Eating, watch movies, listen to music, spend time with my family, kacau my fat cats XD... just the simple stuff... If u're all stressed up, stop bitchin & complain about it... DO SOMETHING! MAKE URSELF HAPPY! I've gone through the depression mode before & I'm going back there again... I REFUSE to be depressed... & I CHOOSE to be happy... & thats it...

FUH~

There u go... Thats my cerita...

So then next time one u peeps asks me, "Ape cite?", my answer will forever be "Oklah"... & its truth... I AM OK... yes, I have problems... but I can deal with it... No biggie, I am fine... HAHA~

Eventhough sometimes I do feel like I could use a big beary hug, but its ok... I'm fine...

Besides I only hug hotties XD

LAWSON IS IN MALAYSIA!!!

I was super excited when they announced on their twitter page that they will be in Malaysia on the 11th of April. Siap dah pikir nak amik leave 2 go 2 their concert... Then siap pikir about winning Meet n Greet Passes (dare 2 dream)...

I was soooo happy... Until.... Universal Music Malaysia announced this:

The concert will be on the 13... Saturday... The day that i fly 2 Kuching for a trip that i didnt wanna go at all but terpaksa...

T.T Oh well, maybe dah mmg xde jodoh kan? Besides in order 2 get the showcase passes, u need 2 purchase Chapman Square tat is only sold in KL area. =.= so unfair kan? Plus i already have the album ma.... Wan buy samore 4 wat??? Ni mesti sebab album x laku XD LOL... Ooops, terlepas... XD (Dont blame me, i'm just a lil bitter coz i cant go to see them live T.T)

Just like Kelly Clarkson, I didnt know who the hell Miguel was... and just like Kelly Clarkson I thought his performance of this song was pretty damn sexy too... hahaha... The song... His voice... sexaaaay~ Cair siot~ Heheheh...

I heard this song on one of my fav TV series for the moment, Suits.

I LOVE SUITS!

The series is great... its about lawyer stuff... n yeah, basically men in suits lah.... haha confession: i personally think that the sexiest thing a man could wear is a perfectly fitted suit. Hahaha okok back to the song.

Heard this song on the 2nd episode of the 2nd season... If not mistaken lah. It the episode where Mike had to break up with Rachel when they just started. Tsk... tsk... Anywayz, the song came up towards the end and the lyrics that caught my attention was "A little white lie, a big black sky, your emptiness open on the dashboard"... Dont know why but that line got stuck in my head for quite a long time... XD so yeah thanks 2 Suits, I found another awesome song... the band had some other cool songs too... and how adorable is the video??? Hahaha love it!

Anywayz, this song was played when R, was having his "make over"/in the shower XD... Nicholas Hault... ur eyes are gorgeous! XD ANYWAYZ... I just love thing song. The lyrics doesnt really say much but the tune and beat is pretty awesome. When I listen to the full song, its like I got lost in d song... Its crazy... never felt tat way before... I dont even know how to explain it... One thing is for sure... Its a good song :)

This post was actually drafted on 5 January BUT obviously I'm lazy/busy... so yeah... sorry ye.. hehe... On the bright note, I am more rajin updating my diary instead!

N yes I managed to buy a new diary especially for year 2013. See~ so flowery ek?

I dont really know why I chose this flowery 1. Macam lah ayat kat dalam ni berbunga-bunga XD. I spent almost an hour at Popular to decide which diary I wanted to buy. XD crazy me... finally I chose this one, the last one of its kind in the store. Plastic all koyak edi but the inside is fine. Nasib baik. :) hopefully I could fill it with loads & loads of happy memories in it... ^__^

ANYWAYZ~ lemme just cerita2 sket the highlights for this month of January.

Did nothing much actually. Just the normal stuff but for the very 1st time in my life, I paid my very 1st "saman"...

YEAP, gratz to my former colleagues Ivy & Roland... such a cute couple~

N macam biase, ppl will ask "WHEN IS UR TURN?"... =.= ape ler... So what I normally answer is "Huh? HAHAHAHAHA"... just laugh it off awkwardly, it always works... XD BF pon xde mau kahwin amende? N of course I pun amik kesempatan to ask other people the same question... WAHAHAHA! Balas dendam :P

Then I also met someone... an old friend... kinda brings back memories... haha then suddenly my mind started to wonder things... u know, like sometimes u ask urself... "WHAT IF?"... and that eventually leads to an INTERESTING ride home... my mind was barely focusing on the road... Other than that I also just realise that I'll be turning 24 this year.... WHAAAATTT! I tot I'm still 21 or somthing... LOL! Padahal last month baru celebrate 23rd birthday... D'oh!

ANYWAYZ, attending ppl's wedding is pretty fun... Its nice to see two soul get together as one... AWWWWW, so sweet~ "true love" eh? nananana~

So, 2013~~ Forget 2013! CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING! OMG! OMG!

Hahaha... I'm sooo excited for CNY... ANG PAU! ANG PAU! I'm sure I'm not the only 1 kan? :P Can't wait!

But at the same time, I AM SOOO NOT PREPARED! XD baju belum beli... bilik belum kemas... Haha xpe~ xpe~ we think positive! Hopefully sempat lah nak kemas my bilik yg mcm dilanda tsunami tu... XD

Hehe~ so what else? Ermmm like I've said, I've been quite busy. I'm doing fine with my work but mcm biase every work ade datang stress nye. So it is one of the reason I didnt blog much this month. Its like after a long day at work using ur brain, when u balik, all u wanna do is just not think... XD

N speaking of work, it already has been 3 months since I've worked here. Work is all good & I am CONFIRMED! :D and... hehehe ade increment... HAAAALELUJAH! More money = more happy! Weeeeee~

Haha....i guess thats all yg happened this month. Not so happening lah kan? Hopefully things will get spicy soon... good kind of spicy lah. Maybe be it would happen during Valentine's Day?

2012 - Year End Report

ITS THE END OF THE YEAR!!! OMG~ OMG~

I'm loving December so much, I dont want it to end! But of course life goes on as we usher into year 2013!

Honestly I'm kinda excited to see what happens next year. Dont know why, but my cat instinct says its gonna be good... HAHA, WE SHALL SEE!

Just like every year, I'll do a "report" to review balik all the highlights that happened on that year... So let's see what happened in the year of the ~~drooling~~ Water Dragon...

Vriesia E. Ng's 2012 Year End Report!

YEAR OF THE DRAGON!

To make things easy for me to remember, let's go by month shall we:

JANUARY

In January, I attended my first concert EVER! I watched FOSTER THE PEOPLE live in KL~

It was AWESOME!!! Totally worth it. Worth driving all the way up to KL just to catch them live XD... cant wait for their next album to come out! FTP! FTP!

And on the same month we celebrated CNY~

Gotta love CNY... It is one of those times of the year where I look forward the most...

Get to see my frenz too, & this year I'm happy that we had a big group...

FEBRUARY

In Feb I went to see another concert. A special solo acoustic show by Dashboard Confessional.

Dashboard is one of my favourite bands ever so its a must for me to go & watch them live. N also for the first time, I drove up to KL ALONE! Again, TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

Then in the same month, "THE NIGHTMARE" came into my life.... had such a horrific time working with her, gave me goosebumps every time I hear her voice. *shivers*

Yeah, other than that February was quiet.

MARCH

In March me & my frenz went to Putrajaya for the HOT AIR BALLON FEST!

It was our first time there... It was kinda boring at first coz we got nothing to do but then somehow we had fun lah. The light show was nice! Might plan to go there again next year! Haha *hopefully*

APRIL

Then in April me & my family went to Kukup... n yes together with Dad's frenz... wat a snooze fest. That's why I didn't blog about it... wasn't really inspired by it. XD

This is Kukup.

But then I dont blame the place lah... I guess to have a great time, it not about the place u are at, but the people who are surrounding u... So yeah I didnt had much fun there. The only good thing about that place is the cheap fireworks,..... ermm tats it. XD food aint that great oso... U wan nice seafood, pegi Alai or Umbai lagi syiok lah... :P

MAY

The family trip continues, and this time we went to Hat Yai... yeah with Dad's frenz... =.=

But Hat Yai is awesome! Saya 1st time pegi so excuse me for being a lil jakun.

We visited the temples there and also all the tourist attractions lah... But I have to say, the best thing is the COCONUT ICE CREAM! SEDAP SIOT! Coconut+Ice Cream... 2 of my favourite things!

The food there is pretty awesome too... mcm biase, I x puas makan... haha~ Oh I also ate bugs! Pic not included to avoid any barfing or vomiting... eh it tasted good leh... thanx to the MSG lah kot... XD

And of course I enjoyed shopping there! Shopping heaven~ N thanx dad for sponsoring our shopping spree. That's why u are number 1 eh? :P

Then in the same month I also had my first visit to the DOCTOR this year! $#@%!!!

And then it became a monthly trip there. From May to September, I would fall sick & kena amik MC...

Stupid freaking meds...

Yup, there goes my third year of perfect attendance. :(

June is a quiet month... But there was a WEDDING!!!

Gratz to the happy couple!

It was my cousin's wedding. N everyone wore KEBAYA!

Yeah, I bought my first kebaya... Nyonya apa ni xda kebaya ah? hahaa~ Hopefully I can still wear them for a long time... XD

Then in the same month, I lost a very good friend. The light of my life... Cute lil Pablo.

U know when people say "you dont know what you have until you have lost it"... I get to learn that from Pablo.

I didnt know that I loved this lil notty cat until I've lost him. & for the first time I cried like a lil bitch that I never thought I would.

So rest in peace my little one...

In August, FINALLY!!! I bought a new phone!

My HTC Desire V...

Love it when I first got it... Dont love it anymore... Asyik delete all my song... ALL ok! My precious lagu2... n there are some glitches... T__T mcm sial je... but I'll just bare with it lah... still useable.

& also for the first time ever, I played PAINTBALL... finally! It was fun & painful at the same time... & then I also realize how unfit I was... lari kejap dah penat... XD

Then I also get to "fulfill" my "desire" to go to a place that is in my wishlist...

& I managed to tarik along my frenz to go along with me.

I left my old job & started a new 1 on the same month! Seems like a risk but its ok... I mmg kaki judi ape... kaki judi takes risk all the time... XD (kids please dont try this at home)

Either way, I'm happier now with my work life... No need to work for a crazy person anymore. MY NIGHTMARE IS GOOONE! N I dont have to work in a place where there are SOO MANY Oscar winning actors & actresses and also I dont have to work in a place that discriminates a person based on their looks. Last time I checked I was working in a hotel not a brothel... just sayin~ :P

Nuff bout worky2 stuff...

SO b4 I started my new job I went for a holiday with my family... without Dad's friends! ^__^

We went to Penang~

And then we also went to Cameron! :)

Just needed a vacation before I started my new job... Its kinda like detoxing from all the stress I had from my previous job... hehe~

For these two months, I dont think I did anything big... I barely remember anything about November XD N in December I just celebrate my birthday oni loh... HAHA~ yeah very quiet 2 months... i think... hehe~

N this year another schoolmate passed away. RIP Nini...
Everyone was shocked when they found out. I had goosebumps when I saw the news... kinda makes us realize how short life can be... :(

But along the way I did meet new friends... and lost some too... isnt it sad when years of friendship just vanished in thin air... oh well~

Oh btw, did I mention that the entire people on earth got punk'd by the Mayans... HILARIOUS~ XD

Buy a watch :P (FAILED! T__T dah 2 years in a row... nvm nvm CNY we buy new watch!)
Just live life to the fullest and take the "leap of faith" if I have to. Especially when it comes to my career. :) (JYEAHHHH~ totally did that! haha)

Sooo 2013.... what do I have in mind?
1. Earn more money... XD $__$ will always be my goal in life...
2. Start my online boutique.... yes work is in progress... plz bare with me... XD

4. Do more charity work... I was thinking SPCA... ade sape2 mau join? :)
5. Maybe learn another language? :P
6. Blog & also update my diary more often... haha~
7. Have a healthier life... I think I shud exercise more... XD
7 shud be enough kan? Hahaha... I dont really know what to put anywayz... hehe~

Well, looks like the end is near... of coz I mean the year! End of the year! Hahaha~ So I guess its time for me to wrap up my top songs in the year 2012!

There are LOADS of good songs this year so it was quite hard for me to decide which one will be my ultimate favourite song in 2012. But somehow I managed to list SEVEN of them down... Lucky number 7 eh? WHY NOT 10??? Coz I really cant decide... HAHA~

Ok, yes I had the Lawson fever... but the reason this song is on my list is because it just made me smile every time I hear the starting where he goes "OOO oooOOO oooOOO~"... Yeah never failed to make me smile & I have no idea why. Like I've said before this song just makes me wanna fall in love all over again. XD just a weird effect on me & I love it! So yeah, this song definitely deserves its spot on my list... ^__^ cant wait for their concert next year!

CONFESSION: I am not a Directioner... I'm not a fan of 1D. I think their songs are OKlah & often overplayed by the radio stations :P & for the record, I oni like the song ok... When I first heard this song, I HAVE NO IDEA it was 1D.... XD but I have to say the song is pretty sweet... but the line about "dimples on your back at the bottom of your spine" made me go "HUH??? U can have dimples on your back? really?" Hahaha... other than that, its a sweet song.... awwww~

MERRY CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!!!

Just wanna wish everyone a Happy Merry Christmas. Hope that all of u had a great time with ur family & frenz eating turkey & eggnog... OH & of course, presents!!! Hope u peeps got what u wanted... haha coz I know I didnt... but then I dont even celebrate Christmas... HAHA~

So I have a confession to make... Honestly, the past few years I have been like the Grinch or Scrooge... I dont know why, but I was really grumpy during Christmas. BUT surprisingly this year, I think I caught up with the ho~ ho~ holiday bug in my system... XD Or maybe I'm just happy with my life right now... thats why I'm so positive n mushy n stuff... haha~

SO~ this year's Xmas wasn't so bad... I was is the holiday spirit... had "jingle bells" on my mind... and I spreaded my joy of Christmas to my cats too!

Ohh btw, me & my frenz also had a Christmas gathering @ Restism... or shud I say Racism bcoz their order sheet is in Chinese only... XD

It had been years since we had a Christmas gathering... I baru je perasan... haha yeah i think everyone is just bz kot.... kot....

The gathering was ok lah... I guess the only fun part is when we exchange gifts... besides the excitement of getting gifts, that was the only time when nobody looks at their phone... technology... pffffttt~

Happy Birthday to me~

I'm officially 23~

SO JYEAHHH! me just turned 23 last Thursday... TWENTY THREE~ i baru nak enjoy to turn 23, but some of my frenz will be 24, just next month... XD kesian~

ANYWAYZ, it was my birthday~ ngeee~ I actually have properly made plans on what I wanna do on my birthday, but sadly EVERYTHING tak jadi... But luckily EVERYTHING still turns out fine. What matters the most is that I'm happy kan? ^__^

I celebrated with my parents the day before, then during the weekend my family went for IKAN BAKAR! NYUMZ! to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary... ^__^

& on the day itself, I had a simple simple celebration oni lah... Birthday oni ape... HEHE~

I was actually working on that day... A dude once told me "Dont ever work on your birthday"... haha, I worked on b'day last year n it turn out pretty cool. This year, OKOK lah... had to attend meeting yg sungguh lama, but OK lah. It was a pretty good day at work. Then after work, I went out with my cousin.

I was craving for CHEESE BAKED RICE! So we went to Wong Kok @ Dataran... HEhehe

N since its my b'day, I got the free giant milk tea!

Its actually a medium giant milk tea coz its oni the 2 of us.. XD

Then after feeling very kenyang, we went to Tong Pak Fu... We didnt take pic of their dessert coz honestly, their dessert dont look nice loh... taste pun xdelah best sangat pon :P but we got b'day discounts! XD utilizing the b'day benefits to the max... XD haha~

Then after dessert went home about 10-ish... yeah SO EARLY kan??? Hahaha enough lah kot~ lagi pun 2 org saje, so lame! XD

Anywayz, did i mention that I bought myself a lil prezzie? YES, I bought my own present... :P

FINALLY, I bought Chapman Square!

LAWSON!!!!

They are coming next year in April!!! So excited!!! Now kena hunt for kaki to go to the concert ^__^

So on my way home I blasted the CD & sing along like a mad lady in the car... FELT OHSEM! N I even sengaja drive a lil slower than I use to so that I can dengar all the lagu habis before I reached home.

N before & went home, I singgah Pav's house to pass to her somthing... N SHE BOUGHT ME CAKE!

My ONE & ONLY cake on my b'day.... XD Black Forest... lama x makan~ :)

Yeah thats my only cake... XD my parents did ask if I want 1, but tak payah lah... :) haha~

Then I went home, & update my diary...

N it is actually my 2010 diary... Kemalasan tahap maksima!

Hahaha... xpe xpe I'll try my best to update my life in 2012 by end of the year... N yes I'm scouting for a new diary for 2013... HUAHUAHUA~ which means one of my new year resolution is: UPDATE MY FREAKING DIARY MORE OFTEN!

Haha~ Then few days later, I decided to go for my "Great Escape" & has some Japanese food... XD

Spending some quality time with that "special" someone & good food...

Hahaha~ Yeah it's me... the slightly more rajin me...

So like I've promised, I'll be posting more of my "quest" hunting for Japanese food here in the ever-so-awesome Melaka.

My next destination is the new Japanese restaurant in town,

YOTSUBA JAPANESE RESTAURANT MELAKA.

Normally, I would just go hunt for Japanese food with my usual Japanese food kakis, but this this we had a mini gathering since everyone was around during the holidays. I think it was a few days after Deepavali kot.

So, lets get back to Yotsuba!

I found out about this place in the Melaka2U magazine... their ad had pretty pictures of their food, thats y I dragged my frenz along to this place... XD

Lets start with their menu shall we~

First problem we had is that we didnt know what to order... Coz the menu items are in Japanese & they dont really have any descriptions abt their food... Despite having VERY BASIC knowledge in Japanese language, I HAVE NO IDEA what are the items on the menu... EXCEPT unagi... XD so we depend on the pictures! Whatever looks good we order... haha~ Saran siap call his fren to jadikan translator... haha...

It took us sometime for us to think of what to eat... but somehow we managed :P

Ok, I dont know what is this but I think its some pork thingy. I dont even know that they ordered this XD. Mentang2 lah aku duduk at the other side of the table korang tamau share eh? :P

We also ordered some makis... coz I love makis... & I also like to maki XD

I think this is the Tempura Prawn Maki...

It is WAY too big for me... personally i prefer the smaller ones then u can just sumbat the whole thing into ur mouth & then u can taste everything together. but taste wise ok lah... the prawn besau... XD

yg I tau it had soft shell crab in it... Taste OKOK oni lah~

OOOoooo~ Unagi~

Taste wise it's oklah. Just nice... wish there was more... hahaha~ Oh btw, I have to say, their Chawanmushi is really good. Normally I wouldnt finish any Chawanmushi, but surprisingly for the first time ever, finished mine (not bcoz i x cukup kenyang ok). It had some shark's fin on the top but I didnt eat them... WHY??? Coz I REFUSE to :P At first I thought it was too "mushroomy"... but lama2 sedap! Haha so far the best Cawamushi around.

Overall comment, this place is not that bad lah... The gang still thinks Wa Zen is better. On the bright side, their service was good. Kudos to the service team~ :) I would probably come back & try other things on the menu. N i'll make sure I come during lunch time since it is cheaper kan? XD

HAPPY DECEMBER PEOPLE!

MUAHAHAHA~ December... my favourite month of the year... kekeke~

Hehe~ Anywayz here I am feeling rajin to update my blog. Just a lil update on wat is going on in my life. If u peeps remembered, I actually resigned from my oh-so-wonderful job in October. So before I started my new job, I actually took a week off just to rehat2 & do nothing... haha... I actually had like a gazillion plans to sumbat in a week but sadly 1 week is not enough...

Haha so these are the things that I did during ONLY 1 WEEK off... :P

MY FAREWELL

Awwww... my farewell.... so terharu T_T I actually had 2 farewells... XD one is on my last day of work & another a few days after. Even my old boss & ex-colleague came... Very the terharu loh... Hahaha kinda miss lunch time with them pulak... XD They belanja-ed me pizza... as requested my me... jadi lah tu, ppl belanja xkan nak mintak mahal2 kan? besides I LOVE pizza! so yeah, I'm a happy girl~

After pizza, we went to Tong Pak Fu... But dunno why I keep on say "Pak Tong Fu"... HAHA~

If you see the menu, the desserts there looks damn good weh~

So I decided to order their Chilled Mango Sago Creme with Pamelo... Looks great in the picture kan???

But sadly, this is what you get... =.= perasaan kecewa tahap maksima! But taste wise its ok lah... can taste the sweetness of the mango and also the slight bitterness of the pamelo... not bad lah~

N Andrew belanja us for dessert! ^__^ again, terharu~ THANK YOU ANDREW!!! nanti kahwin, jangan lupa invite saya!!! Hahahaha~ oh ya next time, I belanja k? :)

I was suppose to go to KL & makan Jogoya with my frenz,,, but too bad the time clashed with my farewell... XD Ee Lin & Meng: Next time ya! *pinky promise*

So the day after my farewell, I'm off to enjoy my ultimate vacation! (sort of)

FAMILY VACATION ~ Penang

First, me n my family went to Penang! It was my 1st time there so I was jakun-ly excited... HEHE~

Dad drived there... I volunteered to drive but my dad dont trust me to drive his Waja... sadness~

So we stayed there for 2 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel...

Honestly I tot Hard Rock Hotel would be a nice place to stay... but the impression I had was just OKOK oni loh... When we checked into the room, I found sampah on the floor, the TV reception was horrible, & the service during breakfast was kinda slow... so yeah, not as awesome i tot it will be...

So in Penang! The place seems pretty awesome! We managed to visit some cool places like Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si Temple... few more other temples yg i dah lupa the nama... & even the famous street art by Ernest Zacharevic.

This temple is HUGE! N its a really pretty place... But really, the temples here in Penang are GORGEOUS!

Then one thing caught my sepet lil eye...

WISHING RIBBON!

RM 1 per ribbon... Anything tat u wish for, sume pun ade... pilih saje... wat did I choose? $__$ i'm sure u peeps know me well enough kan? hehe pandai2 lah... $__$

So after dah tulis ur name on the ribbon, u have to gantung the ribbon to this tree...

Then we also visited other temples... i forgot the names, but theres one with the big sleeping Buddha in it...

Then theres another temple opposite... i think Siam punye kot... XD (imma terrible travel blogger)

Haha... then we also managed to catch the street artwork in Georgetown!

The artwork is amazing... wish we have this in Melaka...

But too bad we only get to see 2 of them... Coz dad is not a fan of the artsy fartsy stuff... XD AH HOON! next time bring me go see ok!

Then of course, kalau x pegi Penang to makan their food u memang bengong!

Honestly, the only thing that got me excited about Penang is THE FOOD!

My trip was kinda short, so I memang x puas makan there loh. For me, the most memorable food the is the ASAM LAKSA!

The best asam laksa I've ever had... *drools*

I had these at the stall yg bawah pokok tu.. near Penang Hill... Sedap siot~ Next time must stay there longer & just eat the whole day... haha~

An that was my trip in Penang... x puas jalan :P

CAMERON HIGHLANDS!

The land of strawberries!!!

I like Cameron. People say there's nothing there... HALLLEEEEWW~~~ STRAWBERRIES???

I personallay LOOOVE Cameron... I dont mind berpindah sana... XD haha yeah... spend the rest of my life there... since the hospitality industry there is quite good... OR i could just get married to one anak taukeh ladang strawberry n just settle down like tat... XD ha~r har~ har~

ANYWAYZ!

CAMERON! We stayed at the The Lake House Cameron Highlands for 2 nights... The place is beautiful BUT a lil too far from the town... oh & the best part, they dont have TVs or Wi-Fi in the room... XD hahaha... all of us cuak when dengar they say no TV (shud have checked b4 booking) but luckily my family are all kaki judi. We bought a deck of cards & thats it! The casino is open! Hahaha~ Who needs TV when u have a deck of cards kan? XD We played black jack the 1st nite then "In between" the 2nd nite... N guess who won the last pile of cash??? Got abt 60 bucks in total... XD Good times~ haha...

So yeah, Cameron is a relaxing place to go to... N I LOOOVE the weather too... nice n cold ^__^

Daylight is M5's third single... 1st time hearing this song, my reaction was "ehhh... not bad". Adam sounds pretty good to eh?... Btw I can totally relate to the lyrics. The part where he sings "When the day light comes I'll have to go, but tonight I'll be holding you so close"... AWWWWW~ so sweet kan? I can relate to that verse coz I have the same feeling towards "someone" i sleep with every night.... MR. PILLOW! Its a nice song to dedicate to ur pillow kan? Coz usually in the morning u tend to feel "berat hati" wanna let go of ur pillow... XD HAHAHA okok... but really lah, its a nice song... cant stop singing it in a falsetto voice like Adam's... hahaha...

Hollaaaa peeps!

Since I got back my pc edi, saya, Vriesia Evans Ng bertekad untuk merajinkan diri saya supaya dapat mengupdate blog saya yg ketinggalan ini... XD (OH MY BM!)

So, recently I went to few Japanese restaurant right here in the ever so awesome Melaka. But this one I actually went like few months ago... XD well, u peeps should know my laziness very well by now kan?

Anywayz, the place that I'll be talking about is Sakura House.

Honestly, if my friend Ee Lin (read her review here) didnt recommend to me this place, jangan harap I akan tau. This place has been around for quite a while, n this was like my 2nd visit here... i think. XD

Sakura House is literally a house. It is located in a housing area in Duyong (see address above) & it is kinda cool. Hahaha... Just that its kinda leceh to find parking there n the dining space are kinda limited so make sure u guys call to make a reservation before u decide to serbu the place ok? ;)

So I went there with the usual partner in crime when it comes to Japanese food, EE LIN! Haha and also Siew See & Porky... i think it was Porky... XD oppsy~

ANYWAYZ, the environment there is ok lah... its like eating at someone's house... but u have to pay... XD sorry x amik gambar... lupa XD

As we settled with our order n all, we get a pot of green tea... which means: FREE FLOW GREEN TEA! but its also self service... kalao mau refill air panas, buat sendiri ye... on the bright side you can also tambah extra tea bag at the tempat tambah air... ^__^

Then slowly the food came.... First we have our appetizers!

So far, I've tried shishamo at a few places... but here is my fav... n yes, I'm the crazy shishamo girl... :P

Overall I'm satisfied with the food here... Yeah maybe their food is not as fancy as other restaurants but for me their price is quite reasonable. So if you're on a budget but craving for some Japanese food, this is the place for you.

Long time no update eh? Wahahaha trust me, this time its not my fault... blame it on my computer~

First of all, i nak cerita that my computer was BUSTED... AGAIN.... my PC telah disambar petir... I think my compooper made Zeus pissed off or somthing... haha... Nasib baik still under warranty so dah send to kedai to fix it...
