Oops! It looks like real, isn't it? But they were not. These flowers were just made of fabric and not plastic. According to the description, these flowers are washable, but of course do not include the vase. This was taken when I shopped at one of the stores at the mall in Sweden. I just love the color that is why when I got a chance, I took pictures of it.

I woke up late this morning and if only, somebody will take charge of my duty in the kitchen even just for this morning, I would definitely be happy. The reason why I was so tired waking up this morning; it is because I went to bed almost 2:00 in the morning. I was chatting on my favorite mom forum, and I had a great conversation with them. The thread that I enjoyed talking was started to a mom who has a teenager son. We shared our experiences, and gave some suggestions to her and to the other moms who have questions also about their teenagers. I am so lucky that my first-born child never gave me a problem when he was still a teenager. Well, it was not only me who was lucky with our teenagers.

There was also a mom that has a very responsible daughter, sister and student to her teachers. I admired the daughter but I guess, it is the parent would be the one to admire most. I understand that parenting to a teenager is not as easy as when they are still a baby. Babies' don’t answer you back. They will just give you a loud cry if they are unhappy. Whilst teenagers, they answered you back when they heard a word that was unpleasant to hear like when the parent was unhappy because of what they did. They would answer you back either they were precisely explaining, or they will answer you badly because they were mad for they don’t like to hear any words from the parent even though you were exactly telling them about the clothes, or shoes they wore.

Anyway, for moms like me, or soon to be a mom, I guess joining a group of moms or a forum of moms is a great and wise move for you. You could get helpful things, advices or experiences from the members, and we could apply it for ourselves or to our family. Pearl Bracelet

While we were on our way to the big market, the rain started to pour. Since, we were riding a motorcycle, we had to park ourselves first. Fortunately, we were near to the mall, so we stopped at the mall. We headed inside and while walking around, hubby saw the ice cream stall, so we bought ice cream sundaes because he loves sundae. While leaking my ice cream sundae, I found a pearl bracelet similar on the photo below. Unfortunately, I couldn't get inside the store for I was eating an ice cream. Foods are not allowed inside the store. So, we leave the place, and we just continue eating our sundaes outside the mall. But one thing for sure, I will go back one of these days for I want to buy that pearl bracelet. I wish the price is not bad for my budget, otherwise; I will not buy it, or I will buy it later.

I have mentioned from my previous post that I was looking for a one-piece swimsuit here in our place. Well, I have found one but not similar to what I have posted here. I bought two-piece swimsuit actually, but the top is until to my waist line just enough to cover the not so pleasant view from my tummy. Lol.

Anyway, I didn't know that Blujaz Beach Resort has stores for you to shop like a souvenir from the place, summer and beach clothes, beach slippers, towels, hats and even swimsuits. It looks like a little Boracay for me. I asked the prices of the swimsuits, and it wasn't bad. It was actually closer to the prices at the mall.

We have a neighbor who is currently working at the mall here in our place. One day, I was at the mall where our neighbor works. She was assigned at lady's clothing department when I was there. I found a one-piece swimsuit similar to the photos below, but when I look up the size, there was no medium size available. I asked our neighbor if they have medium size for this style. So, she went to the stockroom and asked for my size. She came back and had told me that there was no medium size anymore. Sigh! Now I am trying to look for a one-piece swimsuit either online or at the mall here in our place. I wish I could find similar on the photos below.

I have been looking for a camera bag since I arrived here in the Philippines, but I couldn't find a perfect camera bag for my DSLR. I found one at Gaisano Mall here in our place, but that was too big for me. It looks like I'm a camera man if I carry that bag.

A while ago, while I was at my friend's blog, she posted very nice shoes and since the link with the site was provided, I tried to visit the site. Proper Care for Neck and Chest.

I have learned that the thin skin on our neck and chest is one of the first places to show the signs of aging. However, this problem can slow down the aging process by using a product that could stay on your neck and chest young and firm. When cleansing the skin on your neck and chest, use a soft clean cloth and a facial cleanser that contains a light exfoliant to remove the dead skin cells. Apply a moisturizer to the skin after cleansing. When applying a moisturizer, start from the base of the neck moving up to the chin. Never work down as this encourages sagging. Anyhow, since summer is approaching, never go out of the house without a sunscreen. It helps you to protect your skin from the rays of the sun. When you apply the sunscreen to your face, apply it to your neck and chest as well.

When was the last time that I visited my favorite salon? I guess it has been a couple of months now. Oh, I am talking with my toe nails. I have been cleaning alone my own toe nails since I was in Sweden. That’s because pedicure, manicures are very expensive for me there. Unlike here in my tiny country, going to the salon will not spend you so much money if you just have your manicure, or pedicure or both, and even facial cleaning.

I know not all the people are blessed to have sexy and nice-looking feet, and I am one of those ladies who don’t posses sexy feet, which is why, as much as possible, I do a lot of care with my feet and most importantly my toe nails. However, if I am not in the mood to do it by myself, that’s the time, I have to visit the salon. Anyway, for those who have no time to visit a salon, you can do it by yourself at home. Daily scrubbing with soap and a nail brush is a good start, but it’s only a start, if you want good-looking feet.

There are plenty of them, and it looks so beautiful because the leaves are not actually really green. Summer Clothes

Summer is just around the corner. Yesterday, when we went out, the weather was warm. The husband was wearing white T-shirt and I was wearing the brown top below, but, geeh! we were sweating all over our body while walking to the mall. He almost runs to the mall, so he could feel better with the aircondition of the mall. I told him that it soon summer time that is why the weather is so warm. Well, he said, hot weather is better than winter. He hates the winter time in Sweden, that is why he wants us to be back in Sweden in May, at least the snow subsided already. Since, summer is coming, I started looking for summer clothes, and I also want to buy a new swimsuit because we are planning to go to a resort this summer. I hope Boracay this time.

Liberty and little red wagons

It may be an iconic part of not only the history of the United States, but it also represents a symbol of our childhood. For nearly 100 years these little red wagons, which have been pulled down drive ways, sidewalks and across yards, have represented the vehicle of choice for the childhood imagination. But where did they come from and how were they inspired?

Much like the liberty that many early immigrants found coming to the United States Italian Antonio Pasin saw an opportunity to develop something wonderful into a dream for him and his family. At the early age of 16 Mr. Pasin began his company and worked in the early years creating wooden wagons at night and then selling them during the day. As a tribute to the Statue of Liberty he called these first models Liberty Coasters, and eventually he was able to sell these strait to stores with the help of employees.

With the inspiration of the inovation crafted by Henry Ford, Pasin started to utilize the assembly lines during the 1920s as a terrible economic storm was brewing.

Mr. Pasin had an incredible fascination with the invention of the radio, and as a result he renamed his company Radio Steel & Manufacturing. He named his companies first real steel wagon after his other growing interests, radio and flight. The result was the iconic Radio Flyer and these little red wagons have become an important part of childhoods ever since.

During the 1940s production was put on hold when his company was asked to help in the war effort and to suspend toy production. Following this brief interlude the Radio Flyer name became a house hold name by the 1950s. At this point you were starting to see wagons used as promotional items for both toys and movies.

Then, with the celebration of the Radio Flyer’s 50th anniversary, the brand became even more robust with the addition of wheelbarrows, go carts, and scooters being added to the line up.

Through out the 1970s and 80s the company saw these little red wagons become even more popular with new designs such as the Evel Knievel wagon and some added safety features.

The company as a whole started to see more additions as well during the 1990s. It wasn’t until 2003 that Antonio Pasin was as last honored with being added into the Toy Industry’s Hall of Fame. He was the 44th innovator of toys to be honored with this special recognition.

These remarkable red wagons have come a long way from wooden nighttime creation to major industry icon. It is a true example of what determination and imagination can achieve.
