Richard Branson&lt;/span&gt;, no lançamento da&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; nave&lt;/span&gt; no &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;deserto de Mojave&lt;/span&gt;, na &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Califórnia&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Com orçamento de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;US$ 450 milhões&lt;/span&gt;, o &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;projeto&lt;/span&gt; prevê a construção de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;seis naves espaciais comerciais&lt;/span&gt; que poderão levar &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;passageiros&lt;/span&gt; até uma &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;altitude &lt;/span&gt;suficiente para sentirem a&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; gravidade zero&lt;/span&gt; e verem a curvatura da &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Terra&lt;/span&gt; contra o pano de fundo do &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;espaço&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Uma nave de duas quilhas chamada &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Eve&lt;/span&gt; levará a &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;SpaceShipTwo&lt;/span&gt; até uma altitude de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;60 mil pés&lt;/span&gt; (&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;18.288 metros&lt;/span&gt;), onde a deixará.
