We had a small, tight group of 6 having dinner, the atmosphere was lacking a little but that comes down to the fact that one table cancelled at 7:30 for an eight sitting which i found very bad form. It's nice to have at least thirty or so in the restaurant. I remember times when it was seeing nearly 120 people every weekend night. I guess the credit crunch is stopping people going out. The entertainment alone is worth getting out for. We never stayed for the cheesy disco thou. Heading into town found myself, documentally, craighamnett, docgp and his mate james in town at bar15 for a few beers. They have wifi now there is seems which was cool to do some qik with. Maybe next time we will head out earlier, grab some food and carry on our chats in a quieter bar15 early on in the night (plus you do not have to pay to get in if you go earlier)

Anyway, was great to see you all and some new faces. I'm going to push at getting that wifi in and maybe he can have my network camera at the restaurant for a while - that would be a cool feature on his website and be good for constant coverage from the restaurant - would need a proxy for that thou. I think £10 a head is fair for covering the food and maybe we have a "slush" fund for the wine seeing as i can get that by the case very cheap and of good quality. This is not about making money, profit or even attention for any grand purpose, i like to be social and this is the best form of it.

The problem with messing with css, colours and font sizings and layouts and graphics and all that stuff - it really is boring, yes i am happy with the halfway house of results that have ended up at this temporary design but there is nothing like having complete control over your code layout. although i can see the source in rapidweaver it still does not feel like home, it also feel pretty lame doing it this way even thou i can see that it is saving me time. I think i need to create a really ultra basic layout with common names that i understand that way i can have a "base" to work from.
