Buy Nokia c2-03 in Nigeria

2011-10-21T05:13:00.000-07:00

The Nokia C2-03 is one of the very few mobile phones that can operate with two SIM cards simultaneously. This is a very intuitive feature as there are plenty mobile phone users in nigeria who use multiple phones and would want to remove the stress of carrying multiple phones around. These are the people the C2-03 is aimed at as it spares them the trouble carrying around that second handset might be.

Other than that, there is nothing special about the Nokia C2-03 as it is merely a modest feature phone powered by the Series 40 platform. It offers a 2.6-inch resistive touchscreen display, basic 2-megapixel camera, 2G connectivity, and a slide-out numeric keypad.

The Nokia C2-03 also features a 2.6-inch QVGA resistive touchscreen. Another thing about the Nokia C2-03 is that it is rather dim, which makes using the phone in broad daylight quite difficult. On top of that, color gradients look pretty inaccurate due to the display's relatively low color dept

Key features

Dual-SIM, dual-standby phone
Dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
2.6" 256K-color resistive TFT QVGA touchscreen
S40 6th edition
2 megapixel fixed-focus camera
QCIF video recording at 15fps
Stereo FM radio with RDS, Visual radio
Bluetooth v2.1 (with A2DP)
Standard microUSB port
microSD card slot (32 GB supported, 2GB included)
3.5mm audio jack
Extra smooth and precise haptic feedback
Attractive price

Main disadvantages

No Wi-Fi
Camera is poor
QCIF video recording would be better off missing
Doesn’t charge off USB
No screen brightness control
No document viewer
No smart dialing
No accelerometer sensor
No multitasking

Download the facebook app for ipad

2011-10-16T09:45:00.000-07:00

Finally, after all the rumours and leaks, facebook released a version of its apps for the apple ipad which is now available for free download from the itunes store. The app in many ways feels not much different from its app on other apps but comes with a better experience, touch and feel. Ipad owners had been getting sick and tired of opening the native facebook site and quoted that this app just relieved them of some hiccups of the website. This doesn't mean that the facebook app for ipad is perfect or flawless as it will need many upgrades, with the app, you can
browse profiles, chat with friends, view
photo albums, upload pics, and check out
videos and internet links all from within Facebook. Other features, such as games and Facebook music, are conspicuously absent, if not surprising (by all accounts, the iPad app was a project of secondary concern.

The app is smooth, fast , touch friendly and allows easy navigation which gives you the perfect facebook experience from a tablet.
Other features include the use of giant profile pic thumbnails in friend lists and the inclusion of a map in the Nearby/Places feature, the latter of which really makes sense on the iPad's large, multi-touch screen. You can pan and zoom around and get a visual idea of where your friends really are.

Facebook has also said that it will integrate these new features with the other ios devices.

samsung galaxy tab 10.1 to hit europe soon

2011-08-02T14:26:00.000-07:00

fo
for some time now, US consumers have been
able to experience and get comfortable with
the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 – despite the fact
that it’s still missing the TouchWiz UX
experience.
Granted that there has been a lengthy wait for
it, the thinnest and lightest 10.1” tablet in the
world will soon be making its grand entrance
with the European market this month. Of
course, the good people of Germany will
have the prestigious opportunity of buying
one before anyone else starting on August 18.
In fact, both the soft black and pure white
versions of the tablet are going on to be
available at launch, which will sell for 629
Euros ($892). And not only does it retain the
same specs we know and love by now, but it’s
also going to have the TouchWiz UX interface
on board from the onset.
From the looks of it, the German market is
where you need to be if you want to check out
one of the most refined Honeycomb tablets
on the market right now. Luckily, it’ll soon be
permeating other European markets in the
near future with the UK set to see it this
month as well. well, we'd also love to see it as soon as possible in nigeria

IOS 4.3.3 will be released in a couple of weeks

2011-05-02T16:53:00.001-07:00

Sometime last week, Apple responded to
questions raised by about the iPhone and iPad 3G location tracking issue reported by Security researchers.
Apple has revealed that it plans to release a minor iOS software
update – most likely iOS 4.3.3 in the next few weeks to address a bug in the way it manages the crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and celltower database that is
cached on the iPhone.

Here are a few of the updates:
reduce the size of the crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower database cached on the iPhone.
cease backing up this cache,
delete this cache entirely when Location Services is turned off.

Apple also plans to encrypt the cached database in iOS 5, which will be unveiled at WWDC 2011 that starts on June 6th.
Will you install the iOS 4.3.3 when it is released? What do you want Apple to fix in this iOS software
update? Let us know in the comments section below.

Google Talk for Android now with Voice and Video Chat

2011-05-02T16:35:00.003-07:00

It has been officially announced by Google
that the Android compatible version of
Google Talk now has
video and voice chat integrated, at least the one running on the very latest Android 2.3.4, which is now rolling out for Google Nexus S devices.
Currently, with the Google Talk on Android, you can chat with your contacts but not much else. The
video and voice chat support brings it on equal with Apple's Face Time and is superior in a few
instances, for example, it works
on 3G and 4G data connections, and not only over WiFi.

Google's Android mobile operating system has been
playing cats and mice to beat Apple's iPhone iOS from the get go. It is closing the gap and Android fans will tell you there's more to
their devices which makes them better off than the iPhone, but there's still more than enough room for improvement.
With support for video and voice
chat in Google Talk, Android has an answer to Face Time and a good one at that. Along with the
fact that it works over data connections as well, carrier permitting, it also enables you to chat with your family and friends using Gmail or the desktop app. Unfortunately, the regular Android caveats apply to this
feature as well.
The advanced version of Google Talk is only available with
Android 2.3.4, the very latest update. However, Android 2.3.4 has only now started to be rolled
out and only for Google's own
Nexus S devices.
An over-the-air update should be
available to Nexus S users over the
next few weeks. Everyone
else will sure have to wait until phone makers and carriers
decide to roll out the update to customers. Considering the fact that most haven't even updated to
Android 2.3 yet, it's probably going to take much longer than a while. Note that
Android 3.0 Honeycomb has had
Google Talk with voice and video chat running since the get go.

Firefox 4 reaches 100 million downloads after one month of release

2011-05-02T16:19:00.001-07:00

With Firefox 4
launched about a
month ago, it seems
to be one of the most successful Mozilla
releases till now. Though it didn't beat the record for the highest number of downloads on the first day, it came close, Firefox 4 continued to make headway and has now
reached a massive 100 million downloads, according to Mozilla's counter.
It took Firefox 4 exactly one month to reach this point and it's arather impressive number signifying greater days ahead for the mozilla team.
This means that many Firefox users have already updated to the latest version and
Firefox 4 should be catching up to Firefox 3.6 in a while.
Firefox has several hundred million users around the world,
but getting them to upgrade to the latest version usually takes
several months .
Though that there are still some users out there running Firefox 3.0 or even Firefox 2.0, it shouldn't be
expected to have everyone running Firefox 4.0 any time
soon.
This has always been the case, but it wasn't much of a problem
since it took anywhere from six
months to a year and a half to get a new version out the door.
Mozilla doesn't have that kind of time now, Firefox 5 is coming in
two months or so and Firefox 6 a month and a half after that.
Firefox 4 may only be catching up to Firefox 3.6 by the time
Firefox 5 comes out. That said, once people start moving to Firefox 5 things will go much easier since all updates will be silent and automated.
Firefox 4 is the last release done via the traditional model so it
may be the last time download stats mean anything for the
Mozilla browser. If you haven't been keeping track, Firefox 4 got 7.1 million downloads in the
first day, 15.8 million in two days.

Fifa 12 details revealed

2011-04-29T15:42:00.000-07:00

After the release of
first screenshot above of FIFA 12 a few weeks ago, the
first actual details
about the upcoming
ground breaking soccer game have just
been revealed.
FIFA 12 is definitely on top of every soccer loving gamer's most wanted list all over the world, so Electronic Arts, the
game's publisher, is carefully releasing little information about it to its loyal gamers.
While information has been pretty scarce, now, thanks to a translation done by CVG of the French
Official PlayStation Magazine, we can check out the first actual details of the upcoming FIFA 12
game.
As part of the main new features we have a new "Impact Engine" which tracks contact between
the legs, arms or bodies of players and accurately reproduce injuries, even when not in possession of the ball or were excessively used during the end of a match.
A brand new passing system will also be added to FIFA 12, which will improve the odds of successfully completing a pass when you can see
your teammate, and lower them if you just pass the ball blindly through the field.
The artificial intelligence of opponents will be
tailored to react differently depending on the player controlled by gamers, and defend themselves accordingly or at least trying to neutralize the abilities of the player.
Presentation matches are also added in the new game, which will really emphasize the
atmosphere of the game, and not just the actual action on the field.
New lighting effects, a more ergonomic menu layout and even better rendering of the benches and sidelines will be included in the FIFA
12 package.
EA has yet to reveal any sort of official details, so fans need to make due with the information posted above.
FIFA 12 is expected to appear on a variety of
platforms, including PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 as well as portable platforms, which might possibly include the new Nintendo 3DS or the upcoming Sony Next Generation Portable.

Tweetdeck 2.0 now released on app store: ipad upgrade coming soon

2011-04-29T11:54:00.000-07:00

Are you a fan of Twitter? Do you spend hours every day browsing through your favorite social
networks? Then you must have already heard ofTweetDeck – one of the most popular third party Twitter client out there right now.
TweetDeck brings the world's most widespread social networks closer to you and gives
simultaneous access to tweets from any one of them.
The TweetDeck app for the iPhone has just been upgraded to version 2.0, and
according to its developers, it has become more versatile than it was. That is probably because the Twitter client has been
rebuilt from the ground up, with lots of new features added, while maintaining the same
column-based outlook seen in its desktop sibling.
For example, posting tweets to multiple accounts is now possible with this new version. Users will also notice how Facebook wall posts, status
updates, Twitter timelines, mentions, and you-name-it can now share the same column making
it much easier to keep track of them. The
message composition screen has also been
redefined, and the built-in Deck.ly support allows longer tweets to be posted with ease.
TweetDeck 2.0 is free of charge, as always, and you can get it from the App Store by clicking on the link below. Fortunately for iPad owners, the
upgraded tablet version of the client should be available a couple of weeks to launch as well.

Google docs now available on android apps

2011-04-29T11:25:00.000-07:00

Some Android users might think that their wish on that falling star has finally come true with the release of Google Docs as an Android app.
Available from the Android Market as afree download in English for Android phones running 2.1+, with Google Docs you can access all of your Google documents from all of your
Google accounts. You can also open content
while in Gmail. Search, star, edit, rename read your documents right on your mobile device. Awidget is available which allows you to open your Google documents straight from your phone's home screen. On your screen, you can edit documents while on the go and share them straight from your Android handset. And with the app and the
camera on your phone, photos with text can be turned into an editable Google document using optical character recognition. Create new
documents from just snapped pictures and old shots from your gallery can be converted by sharing them with the app. Google's own blog
notes that there are some limitations such as the inability of the app to read handwritten text or
some fonts. But the Mountain View company did say to "stay tuned-things will get better over
time."
