What had happened to my travel blog - Travel Feeder?

I'm kind of fed up with my website host. This is already the second time since my Travel Feeder travel blog first started in last June. Travel Feeder is hosted by Hostgator and this is the second time in a month that my site is not accessible! What had already happened? First I thought my network connection has down again, but realised later it is only my travel blog that is not accessible!
If it persists, I'm going to look for new web host! Fortunately, I have backed up my blog contents recently. But what will happen next? Has anyone experienced this with Hostgator before? Will the web host go wind-up by any chance? Any advise on the precautionary steps and actions?

At Good Money Maker, we always review those talented young blogger who are making decent money from their blogs. This round I spent over a week to analyse and read through all his posts, and finally I put up the review for this exciting and aggressive young money making blog: Gather Success.com. Actually, I came to know him by his highly recommended Atomic Blogging e-book. And 1 of those who has given high remarks of it is our renown John Chow. We leave this to the later part.

Let's come back and have a look at Gather Success. This blog is relatively young (about 20 months) and the author is young too. At the age of 24, Alvin Phang has successfully generated decent income for his full time Internet marketing business. He started this blog on 7th October 2006. With his hard work and determination, he managed to maintain his posting rate at an average 1 post per day and this means there are totally 500+ articles that he has posted in this Marketing Blog! In return, he has a very well updated blog with plenty of his fans and subscribers who are following his updates everyday! For new subscriber like me, I have lots of blogging tips to catch up and this is why I have to spent weeks to review this blog and mind you this is going to be a long winded review from me.

First, we take a look at his blog design. Striking red coloured navigation bar over pure white background creates a very good contrast to attract readers. There is only a little $ sign as header image in his blog and other images you will be able to see are all marketing staffs. Internet marketing staff and advertisement are all grouped and squeezed inside the 1st page. This is a very clever strategy from the marketing point of view. Overall, if you visit this blog for the first time, you will immediately know that Gather Success.com is definitely an internet marketing blog, and a very informative internet marketing blog and nothing else.

So, the first impression is good. How about the content? Is it as good as the layout? The answer is "YES". Gather Success as its name suggests is a blog to gather all successeful marketing tools and tips and featured under one roof in order to benefit its subscribers and also its affliates. Money making tips such as traffic generation and SEO optimisation are among those useful guides to read on. On top of that, Alvin Phang has managed to conduct interviews with those top money making internet marketer and featured into this blog as well. Voices from such as John Chow, Ewen Chia, Tracy Repchuck and NateWhitehill could be heard from this blog too!

In terms of money making as what my reviews always targeted for, Gather Success is surely inside the list. With plenty of affliate program such as Atomic Blogging, ad sales and private programes, total income of this blogs has reached a high figure of over USD11k in April alone! What's his secret then? You could all find out in Gather Success.com. After all, I would say the key to his success is the total traffic generated to this blog with nearly 25 thousand unique hits per month!

I was so excited when I recently got to hear this tele-interview of John Chow, the founder of John Chow dot Com, one of the most money making blog in our blogosphere. This actually is an exclusive interview conducted by another energetic, enthusiastic young successful blogger, Mr. Alvin Phang, featured in his also successful money making blog, Gather Success (I'm reviewing this blog now and will publish my full review very soon).

In this 44 minutes interview, for whoever new bloggers like me who has heard long enough about Mr. John Chow, read all of his posts, gained much of his advise, BUT, have not HEARD how sexy his real voice is, can finally hear and feel the voice of a confident, mature blogger, first of all.

Not only that, off course. He is going to tell you how he first started John Chow dot Com , the initial purpose, the start of his blog traffic, the first post which inspired him of making money online. The most important feature of all is his whole hearted advice to all the bloggers out there who intend to make big buck from their weblog. YES! He has become part of us in Blogosphere! Who is Pak Che Det? He is our ex-Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad!

Tun Dr. Mahathir started his first ever personal blog on the Labour Day, 1st May 2008. And the domain name is interesting: www.//chedet.com. He called himself Che Det as his nickname during childhood. "Che", is a Malay title for young people while "Det" is an abbreviation of his name.

This I would say is a historical moment of all time: With only two post so far, over 2000 comments or responses have already been received! The first is about the hot topic currently in Malaysia: The appointment of judges; while the second is also hot: A weak government. Let's see what would happen in the near future...

This blog has a very simple template from Blogger with an unique domain name, chedet.com while the biggest attraction is from the titile of the blog: Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. It's the auther that will attract huge amount of viewer and visitors, I would bet, especially for those who concern most on the political topics of Malaysia.

Before I start to write the review of this wonderful blog, I must put in a few words to thank Josh for promoting my blog in his Time For Blogging. Among members of Josh’s community, we have this new, energetic and refreshing blog called itself as Hash-Out, created by Aziz about six months ago, this blog has its unique characteristics that worth everyone’s time to explore into. For me, I could have this beautiful blog with me during my Sunday’s break at home, after the tiring whole week of work as a project manager in construction for the past 2 weeks. It first attracted me by having an unique and ambitious title which I didn’t quite sure what the author is trying to bring out at first, to be frank (by definition, Hashing could mean mixing all small pieces together). Perhaps it’s the author’s strategy to generate traffics. Why I said so? Read on…..

Without any doubt, I would vote this blog, Hash-Out for the most beautiful .blogspot.com’s blog I have ever seen. The 3-column layout is brilliant and neat with content posts in the middle, which is popular nowadays. Background colour is white as standard, wording in black and links in blue. All these with a title header of Hash-Out: because together we know more…

Because together, we know more. It is indeed an exact slogan to be put into the header. As mentioned in the author’s profile, It is all about hashing out opinions, views, reviews, rants, expert advice and general discussions on various subjects. Only then I realised what he meant by hash out. This blog is about everything you are interested to know. Though it is still a new blog comparatively with relatively less posts in the blog, but looking at the rate of posting, sooner or later, it would only be more and more informative, I bet. On top of that, the author has many brilliant ideas of increasing traffic to his blog as well. One of them which inspired me of writing this article, is the Review Hash Out campaign. By reviewing this blog, you could gain a kick back from him with some writing about your blog as well! Though you could notice some similar offer in John Chow’s blog, HashOut extends the offer to include a free back-review from HashOut! Or perhaps for those bright minded people like you, you could also contribute your writing as a co-author of this blog, and it is most welcome. After all, you won’t be fatigue reading all his posts as there are lots of beautiful photos inserted in almost all of the posts!

Finally, this blog is being featured here as a money making blog because it has all factors of being famous one day and I can see the potential. Just VOTE for it!

He is Josh Dorkin, another experienced blogger. It was a privilege for me to be invited to review his blog. One one hand, I’m honoured to do so. On the other hand, I had sleepless nights figuring how am I going to review such an established blog like his. Finally I decided to do it in the way I used to: review the blog from a casual blogger or new blogger point of view, just like me, until now.

TimeForBlogging is the site created by Josh with purpose. His purpose is obvious, as you could realise from his ‘About’ section: to help others to learn how to create and operate a successful online business like he has. His 13 years of experience in building websites surely could help various bloggers, one way or another. From the header of his blog: Blogging, Websites Tips, eCommerce, Forums and Web-Entrepreneurship, you could know that his blog is covering almost every aspect of online business. This is only an introduction of this blog.

When you first visited TimeForBlogging, you could see a familiar, neat and nice layout created with Wordpress. The 3-column template is being fully utilised to its full. Contents or posts are stucked to the left hand side (as usual); all sort of links to his previous creation, posts and favourite sites are concentrated at the centre column; and the rest are at right hand side column. For first time visitor, I think it is considered neat and very easy to read through. It urged readers to explore deeper to the blog, which happened to me. This is very important to give good impression to new comer. **Oh, there is also 3 very exciting column sections at the footer to read through: Recent Entries, Recent Comments and Most Commented previous posts, and shouldn’t be missed!

I have spent some times reading through its contents started in September 2006 until the recent posts. He posts about his opinion over many of the current and latest issues on internet. When you vet through the categories list, you will know what I meant: over 40 categories of his posts, from networking, advertising, forums, making money online to tutorials. For whoever bloggers needing some latest information of internet, you should subscribe this site as your feed and it shouldn’t let you down. His style of writing and comments reminds me of someone, Kumiko Suzuki, which is very direct and might be harsh to someone. You could see him bombarding other people website with no hesitation! Though those are his personal feeling and views on something but he was right to the point most of the time! This is why I would not reserve my praise to him. I would not know the traffic of visitors to this blog but I bet it must have generated vast traffic by now. The most important aspect of a good blog which he has been doing, is, maintain posting new articles everyday.

For making money online, you will also realise his real money generator is actually his affiliate website of another informative blog about real estate which I have also great interest in.

What are the conclusion:

He really spent lots of time for blogging;
Handsome author?
Vast information on internet and blogging;
Again, neat layout of this blog;
You will receive his cruel comment if you have done something wrong to your blog;
Potential traffic generator;
Praiseworthy effort and subscription is recommended

Good Money Making Blog: Who Is Andrew Wee.com

Some might be interested to know why I’m so excited to review this blog. The reason is obvious. He is the guru in internet marketing and affiliate marketing and he is very professional in writing blogs which not many bloggers are (or at least me). His vast experience in website traffic generation only worth everyone’s a read. Actually I came across to know him through Mybloglog’s Kumiko’s community where his close up look of his face attracted my attention (he already succeeded in the first place). And again, to have a title of Who Is Andrew Wee, he must be someone. So I visited his blog. The first impression is awesome. The layout is clean and neat and most importantly, you couldn’t find any Google or other ads inserted in his blog (I presumed he is not making money through Adsense or Kontera or those pay-per-click programme). With an IT look close up of himself as the Title Header, his blog is a 2-Column template and no fancy for the blog colour scheme, which is ‘standard’ blue & white blend. From that, you know he is an internet expert who knows how to create an unique blog of himself (unfortunately, I couldn’t know how his blog looked like in its early age in 2005). He is making his blog unique by having resourceful and informative contents.

When I read on, I realised what is the difference between a casual blogger and a professional blogger. This guy really is a journalist where I found myself like reading a daily journal! His article are mainly regarding his favourite, internet and affiliate marketing which is most related to all of our online money making bloggers (that’s why it’s in my review list). Apart from that, the tips he shares are useful and out from the mouth of a professional. By reading his blog, you can gather many related links from it, such as Ewen Chia's Web Advertising Secrets and Internet Marketing Cookbook, which is his idea of Affiliate Marketing! Since this is his personal blog, he also tells you about his personal stories and with a very comprehensive profile of himself.

After reading much of his posts, I realised I haven’t got much gut to further comment his content since I’m a new blogger without much technical knowledge in affiliate marketing and internet marketing. I decided to stop here, and I realised I have a long way to go in this blogging society. However, whoever blogger out there should give this site a visit as priority if you intend to further venture into this era of the century. Here are the conclusions:-

Interesting Blog Title;
Well organised and neat blog;
Experienced posts from an experienced internet marketer;
Insider information of Affiliate Marketing and Traffic Generation;
Comprehensive Profile of his ownself;
Full of useful links in his blog.

Good Money Making Blog - Jakel Daily Dot Com

A day after my last review on Kumiko Cash Quest, I got a message in my comment section. That was a message from an aggressive newcomer (since her blog is only 3 months old), Kelly Neumann. She asked to Review his blog and I say ‘WHY NOT?’ So here it is…. The Jason and Kelly Neuman’s blog: Make Money with Jakel Daily Dot Com. Why did I say ‘aggressive’? Because they (Jason and Kelly, that’s how they got the name JAKEL) started their blog only 3 months ago but when you first visit their blog, you will definitely be surprised on how established is the site with all sorts of making money features incorporated. They created over 1000’s links to their site with only 3 months time which to me is really impressive.

My first reaction when I first visited their blog was wondering whether John Chow has created a new blog! Apart from the Header picture and the blog title, it is very similar to John Chow Dot Com in terms of site layout, ads positioning, contents and color scheme! Since John Chow Dot Com was established far more earlier, I presume JAKEL is very smart to follow John's steps to create something similar. This makes life much easier since John has proved himself to be successful in the world of blogging for money. Those 'How to become successful' guru always stress that if you want to be successful, you have to follow what successful people are doing! So if you find John Chow's website is interesting, the same you will find this site.

Apart from the layout, Jakel Daily Dot Com also writes similar stories as to John's. There are various interesting topics in this blog especially those stories about How to make money online! (off course they talk about making money online, if not I wouldn't be writing this review) Jason and Kelly has succeeded in the first step to create a blog which is nice, neat and informative. Moreover they are succeeding in their second steps as well: posting at least 1 post per day. This is very important to maintain readers. Continueing good stories will definitely attract readers to drop by more often and also to create a large blog to improve the blog's ranking in Google search. To be able to review their blog more thoroughly, I actually read through most of their stories which are very interesting indeed. So what I can reckon is that Jakel Daily Dot Com would finally be successful if they can succeed in the last steps, which is, to create, write and improve their articles.

Here are the conclusion:-

Attractive Domain name - JAKEL (Jason and Kelly);
you won't complain about the blog layout if you are John Chow's fans;
Informative contents on how to make money online;
Attractive stories on various topics;
A big fans of John Chow I presumed;

Good Money Making Blog- Kumiko Cash Quest

Sorry to fellow community members. It's been a while since my premier review of JOHN CHOW DOT COM. As promised, I would like to take you all to the world of this young, cute and beautiful Japanese lady with high ambition and good money maker: Ms. Kumiko Suzuki. I first noticed her was in Mybloglog profile page while I was surfing around to look for new friends and bloggers. She was in the contact list of one of my community member (Perhaps is her shining outlook that attracted me). Then is her blog title: KUMIKO CASH QUEST, interesting blog title isn't it? This is not the end.

When I fist visited her blog, I did really feel like I was in a world of Romance, where your eyes will be flooded with pink colour items all round: pink coloured Blog Title, pinky post title, even the Google ads descriptions are in pink! (Exactly what her blog title described: Three Figure Blogging... with Extra Pink!) Straight away you know that this blog belongs to a lady. However, when you read on, you will be hooked immediately. She is writing this blog to show the world how much money she is making online, with great ambition! Her feminine look does contradict with her ambition, ambition to make money online. This interested me to read on seriouly just to find out how successful she is.

Before touching any of its content, let me describe a bit on her blog layout. Despite of the pink's, her blog is very neatly arranged. The three column layout does help a lot. The contents are in the middle with her photo on the left and others on the right. Unlike the energetic feel of John Chow's Blog layout, her blog definitely give you the other extreme feeling: relax and pleasant. Everything is nicely placed into where they should be, without any confusion. This is the key point for creating successful blog: to make people stay on as long as they would like to. OK. This would be a good and important first impression (As Ms. Kumiko always suggest to all new bloggers).

Then what about the contents? I would advise all new bloggers(like me) to drop by to learn at least 1 or 2 tricks or advices from this blog. For bloggers trying to monetise their blog, look no elsewhere! Her posts are all about 'How to Make Money Online'. Her approach is very much straight to the point and direct, just like what I realised about her attitude. Her idea is to provide a step by step guide to show you how she did it and she even show you her whole blog 'Template' for you to download! Yes. She is that real. I can tell you that her comment to other people will not be a laid back type and can sometimes be a bit harsh for certain people. However, she will never rude and these are why many readers like her posts very much (same as me). In fact, it seems to me that she spends very much time in her blog searching and exploring new ideas of blog monetisation. That is why fellow new money making blogger should take a look at this site before you take the next step!!

p/s: just before posting this review, the young and vibrant Ms. Kumiko has lauched a Re-brand of her site to become a sexy lingerie online store with her posts in sexy lingerie outfit! DON'T EVER MISS THIS!!!

This is my Premier Review of money making blog. I first came to know this blog when I google searched for the keyword ‘Make money online’ and I clicked because of his site name: John Chow Dot Com. Who is John Chow? I’d better checked it out.

When you first visit this site, you will notice 2 sport cars appeared as the title header. Though it’s not extraordinary or fancy enough, you can know this guy loves car. Then comes straight away to the content (unlike some other blogs which you could hardly find the content with ads all over the blog) and what he talks about his earning of over $7 thousand a month and site ranking of 142th from Technorati immediately strike your mind. Then you will click on the ‘Who is John Chow” button trying to know more about him. After that, you will be hooked into it. Serious. Though his look doesn’t really sell but what he did and what he has got could really interest many bloggers around, especially bloggers who intend to make money online.

Then, you will click those many links in this blog. One of his clever move is to have lots of links in his posts and his blog. You just can’t resist to click some of those links and some of them are Text Link Ads or Affliate marketing stuff. It has a good blend of content and ads. So this will give us an impression that his blog is full of information and is content rich. Off course John Chow Dot Com is really very informative with 3 to 5 new posts everyday, you could find many latest information on blog monetisation and the best part is, sometimes, you just can’t resist to click on those marketing stuff or adwords ads link to get more info. Another good attraction is those photos of fellow bloggers displayed in the Reader Community board by Mybloglog. It is a great idea to show off your community to publics and it could create a friendly atmosphere as well.

Because of all these factors, he managed to attract many visitors with very fast traffic generation within a very short period since a year ago. What interest me a lot would be those many comments in his posts. Sometimes you would even prefer to read those comments only and comments are very important to maintain your community and readers. This is the philosophy of ‘relationship of chicken and egg’. Either comments or traffics come first is up to you.

What is the conclusion?
1) It has an interesting blog name of John Chow Dot Com;
2) It is loaded with all sorts of money making info and ads;
3) Good attraction with Mybloglog recent readers;
4) Its posts are linked to everywhere;
5) A lot of comments that you can follow everyday like storybooks;
6) Neat blog layout with no wasted space;
7) Great Adsense ads insertion;
8) Entertaining posts everyday, and
9) Even Great videos also.

My blogs always carry the same domain name of Naked Ozone (NO) which I care always that we bloggers in this world are all live within our ozone layer which is getting thinner and thinner under corroision of various excessive gas such as Carbon Dioxide caused by human activities of excessive logging, industrialisation and pollution.

Currently, my main blog ranked 50th in Technorati, top of first page of Google search and one of the most active AGLOCO member which generates over USD50,000.00 of online incomes every month includes Adsense, Auction Ads, Review Me, Mylot and Friendsfinder. There was in exclusive interview about me featured in the recent US 'FORBES' magazine in the December issue of 2008.... Oops! What is the year now? 2007? ****BANG*****

Come on. Let's back to reality... I am a newcomer in blogging world. I've earned nothing online so far except hey-wire over my templates; no cheques or what-so-ever from whoever internet affliate programe and my website was ranked over 1 million in Technorati and you could hardly find my site during your google search except first page of google search for the anchor text of 'Naked Ozone' How sad I would say. But never mind. I am currently working hard to gain popularity on the internet and started this blog.

This is a blog where I would review those top 'Money Making' blogs FREE from a normal internet user point of view and always with compliments. I will talk about the best part of the blog which makes them so successful. Hopefully, fellow bloggers who intend to monetise their websites could have a reference. Off course, you could always and welcome to suggest blogs for me to review in my comment section.
