aka: Chaos and the Case of the Disappearing Ink

Materials: Cleaning Safety and Concerns

In terms of hygiene, glass is one of the best materials around as it is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and free of latex or phthalates. Glass is extremely easy to clean, for basic cleaning just use hot soap and water. For more through sterilization/sanitation glass can be boiled (read below before doing so with this toy however), bleached, and even put in the dishwasher (top rack without any soap). Make sure to use a sterilizing method if you are going to be sharing your toys and remember you can always put a condom on anything and that is a good thing to remember because…

The Mystery of The Disappearing Ink

I was unsure of what the Inked designed was made out so I started I discussion on Edenlink about it and Al Bloom of Cal erotic said “the finish is a proprietary formulation” but added that it is non-toxic, non-porous and free of latex, phthalates, and PVC. I do know that the design can peel off under certain conditions. Here is the story: after starting, the thread on Edenlink someone mentioned concerns over the if the toy would hold up to boiling, so I decided to test this toy⁽¹⁾. After boiling it for 15 , I let it cool down… so far so good. However, after letting it cool I wanted to take one final measurement of the diameter (see the section below for more on that frustration). I lost my flexible tape measure so I decided to improvise a bit (Hey, you love it when Macgyver does it.), I took some plan transparent office tape and wrapped it around the neck of the toy cutting it to length so when I peeled it off I could measure the length and then divide by pi to get a measurement for its diameter. When I peeled the tape back, it took a few small flakes of the design with it. You can see the results below:

Curious I tried to replicate the result the next day. First, I tried it with just tape alone everything stayed in place this time (and just to be through I tried the test again with electrical and duck tape). This made me think that perhaps temperature was a factor. (I had let the toy cool before applying the tape the previous day so it could only have been a small bit above room temperature if that; it was certainly cool enough to be used internally). So I boiled it again and tested it, with the transparent office tape, when it was cool enough to handle but still too hot for me to try and use internally and it took off several large flacks (you can see the damage below). I tried again when the toy had cooled to the point where I could use it for temp. play, and this time the tape took off a few very small pieces. Temperature stress seems to be necessary to cause the Ink to come off. This is a concern for both those that like to boil toys and those that like to use their toys for temperature play. Admittedly neither the accidental discovery nor my subsequent tests are normal use, but it is still worrying to me. Even more worrisome however is that some in the thread I linked have said that the “Ink” can come of via scratching (presumably with ones finger nails)

Regardless of whether the toy is “Inked “or not, any glass toys should be treated with care to avoid cracks or chip, including micro-crackes that could create a micro-abrasive surface that could harm delicate tissues. Don’t let this toy roll around bumping into other toy especially other hard toys. If you drop it on a soft surface, carefully inspect the toy to make sure it hasn’t cracked. If you drop it on a hard surface, I’d err on the side of caution and not use the toy internally again (enjoy your new phallic paper weight however) at the very least inspect it very thoroughly. Also be careful when heating or cooling the toy for temp play as rapid temperature changes could weaken the toy or cause it to shatter.

Lastly, glass is compatible with all lubes with any lubes⁽²⁾.

Design and Dimensions

The design of this is straightforward. The probe measures 6 ¼” tall and is an inch in diameter. It has a very slightly curved shaft with a bulbous head that has two indentations on it and which measures an inch and 3/8 in diameter,  according to my measurements⁽³⁾ . The base is flanged making the toy safe for anal play and is 1.75” in diameter.

Aesthetic Beauty

A big part of the lure of glass toys for me is their aesthetics. In regards to this toy, I like the design and I certainly do not mind adding it to my perverted glass menagerie, but I don’t love it. (Keep in mind that design is not impervious to coming off) The design is simple: clear glass, with a tattoo pattern on the front. The first thing I like to comment on is that the probe being clear means you can see through it and take a “peek” at your partners insides. I took a pic of the Edenfantasys leaf through the glass probe to illustrate.

As for the tattoo pattern, I liked it well enough although I know nothing about tattoos and this is obviously all a matter of personal preferences. The tattoo pattern consist of three elements a red heart on the left, an orange cross with red and green accents in the center and a silver anchor with red accents on the right side. I find the anchor design a bit interesting the ends of it have a spade design on them and the handle is in the shape of a heart. Although the fact that it didn’t stay on the toy…was less than ideal. Pleasure and Use

To start despite the slight curve and the pronounced head the toy could not effectively hit my prostate. This is a shame as harder materials like glass usually make for good prostate stimulation. It did work however as just a straightforward dildo, I personally enjoy the feeling of being penetrated by something with a more pronounced head, and this did the job nicely. The glass felt completely smooth while using it I could not sense nether the two indentations on the head, nor the area where the tattoo design is while trusting. A notice of caution, since glass is a hard rigid material you should remove it before switching positions as moving around with too much with a long hard object inside of you could bruise your insides.

Temperature Play

One of the benefits of glass is that it can be warmed or cooled for temperature play, however for the reason explained above I would be a little more careful then usual if you want to use this toy for temp play. However if you do decided to use it for temp play, the easiest method I have found is to use a water bath to gently heat or cool the toy (remember what I said about rapid temperature changes). Be careful not to overheat or cool the toy, test a bit of the water from bath on your wrist (as you would test the milk temperature for a baby) to make sure it not to hot or cold. Playing with temperature can add some fun to the experience. Using heat can help make penetration gentler and easier, while cooling can add an extra jolt of sensation and I personally really enjoy the felling of a cooled toy approaching body temperature as I use it during a play session.

Who is it for?

The most obvious type that will enjoy this are people who enjoy tattoo designs. However that the design came off is a concern , because of the flaking issue I wouldn’t recommend this if your highly concerned about your materials and I would be cautious if you boil your toys, or are in to temp play.Those looking for a good P (or G) spotter should also look elsewhere.

Packaging

The toy comes in a plastic packaging that snaps open easily; you could theoretically put the toy back in and snap it back together for storage although it’s not designed for that. As you can see below the design is tasteful and free of any gaudiness. Keep in mind the concerns about cracking/breakage I mentioned above when deciding where and how to store this toy.

Closing Thoughts

Before the flaking incident I’d say that there is nothing spectacular about this probe but it gets the job done and is pretty to look at, a respectable three stars. However after the flaking incident, I have some more reservations about this toy for now I’ll  give it two stars. I’m only removing one star since it only peeled off under somewhat usual circumstances; I however may reduce the score even more if it turns out to be as easy to peel as others have reported. The Fleshlight Ice Glow Vibro

Design Dimensions and Operation

First, a quick overview: all Fleshlights consist of two major parts a 3-part case that vaguely resembles a flashlight and a masturbation sleeve that goes inside of it. The sleeves are available in wide variety of textures and opening and there are specialty lines available such as the Fleshlight Girls line (the opening is modeled after your favorite porn stars lady bits) and the Fleshlight Vibro that comes with three bullet vibes in order to make the sleeve vibrate.

The Fleshlight Ice Vibro Glow (hence just Fleshlight Glow) specifically, is available in 2 orifice styles (Lady and Butt); but only in one texture, stamina training unit (hence STU), and only one sleeve and case color, the transparent “ice” color, and is part of the Fleshlight Vibro line. What makes the Glow, “Glow” is that the three included bullet vibes all have an LED light (available in 4 colors pink, blue, purple, and red and you can select a different color for each vibe), this combined with the ice color creates a glowing effect.

The Case

Each Fleshlight Case stands 10 inches tall and is a little less than 4 inches wide at its large end and approximately 2 ½ inches at the smaller end. Although Fleshlight cases come in multiple colors the, glow only comes in the transparent ice color for the obvious reason of allowing the LEDs on the bullets to provide the advertised “Glow” effect. It also allows you to see yourself trusting in and out of the Fleshlight.

As I said, the case comes in three parts: The main body; a large cap that goes over the entrance end of the toy and a small cap on the end of the toy. The main body of the case has the Fleshlight logo and five raised ridges that make the toy easy to grip. The small cap allows you to adjust the suction on the return stroke, the tighter the cap the greater suction, the looser the cap the less the suction. (I like to use this with a weak amount of suction.) The one problem I have with the small cap is that there is no texture or ridges on it. The addition of ridges would make it easier to grasp if your hands are slick with lube. Fleshlight cases are standard so you can put other selves in to this one if you wish. Lastly, since this is only available in clear any illusion of discreetness the Fleshlight might have had goes out the window.

The Sleeve

Firstly, for the same obvious reasons as the case,the Glow Fleshlight is only available in the transparent ice color. Moving right along, the Fleshlight Glow comes in two orifice styles Lady and Butt.⁽¹⁾. Both models do a good job of replicating the look of their respective orifices so you can easily pretend you are doing the real thing. Although aesthetics/which orifices you prefer to fuck is going to be the major factor in deciding which you want there are a few other differences to consider. No matter what orifice you’re dealing with there is a bit of a gap between the openings of the canal to were the texture starts. The Butt however is the thinner of the two, since there are no faux vulva to start with; you go straight in to the canal this means you hit the texture sooner with the Butt model then with the Lady, although the difference isn’t extreme only about ¼ of an inch. Smaller than average males, might want to keep this in mind; although you don’t have to worry about not hitting the texture at all unless you are less than 2 inches or so. The Lady model does have some advantages. Firstly, the Lady’s design makes for easier insertion, useful if you enjoy fully withdrawing and reentering the Fleshlight. Secondly if you like to get really vigorous with your masturbators the Lady bulges outward to form the toys vulva as opposed to the butt which curves in (like an anus placed between the butt checks) meaning that there is a bit more “padding” when you slam into the Lady orifice. Regardless of which orifice you chose the STU has a⁽²⁾ has an internal canal diameter of ½ inches (to put that in perspective that tighter than the original ¾” but not as tight as the ultra tight ¼”).

Once you hit it the STU texture consists of a series of small bumps, similar to their speed bump texture only the bumps are larger and softer (this cool post on the Fleshlight forums illustrates the difference well). Since this is part of the Fleshlight Vibro series, it is design to take three bullet vibes in order to make it vibrate. Which is what I’ll go over next.

Bullet Vibes: Putting the vibration in the Vibro, and the glow in Glow

The sleeve of this and the others members of the flashlight Vibro line, have three pockets on the side of the toy on the orifice end that each accept any standard diameter bullet vibe. This means you can use normal bullet vibes instead of just the light-up ones if you’re not in the mood for a light show but still want to use the Vibro function (also since the light-up bullets are more expensive to replace, no reason to wear them down if you’re not in the mood for the light show).

Each of the three bullet vibes fits in a pocket on the orifice end of the toy.

The included bullets themselves are your standard one speed, one button bullet vibes with the addition of an LED at the end that lights up one you turn the vibe on. When you order you have your pick of four colors pink, purple blue and red, you can chooses three bullet of the same color or mix and match. I chose a combination of red, purple and blue. The bullet used are the Screaming O Glow Bullet Vibes⁽³⁾, you can pick these up if you want to try a different color or if the included ones die. I wrote a standalone review of these bullet vibes here. The Glow also comes with a replacement pack of ten batteries (and considering that the Glow use three bullets with 3 batteries a piece I recommend finding a good retailer of watch batteries cause this thing is going to eat them up).

Extreme Uniqueness

As you can tell this is a unique Fleshlight; however even without the LED light this is still unique in several ways, as of now this limited edition is the only way you can get:

1. A Vibro in Ice (Normally only available in Pink)
2. A STU in Ice (Normally the STU is only available in Pink)
3. A Vibro with the STU texture (Normally the Vibro is only available in Original, Cyclone and Touch)
4. A STU with the Butt orifice (Normally the STU is only available in with the Mouth, Jack Ass and Lady orifices)

Materials: Cleaning and Safety Concerns.

The material used for the Fleshlight is their patented Superskin material. The exact composition of this is a patented Fleshlight secret. It is however free of both phthalates and latex. The material is porous so it should not be shared and you may also want to use a condom just to improve ease of clean up. Superskin is waterproof so you could use the Fleshlight in the shower if you wish.

Cleaning the Fleshlight is a bit of hassle, the Fleshlight should be cleaned using only hot water for basic cleaning or a bit of isopropyl alcohol for a more thorough cleaning, as soap could damage the toy (keep this in mind if you’re using it in the shower, too). The case and bullet are made out of plastic, which you can also clean  water or isopropyl alcohol. After thoroughly rinsing the toy out, shake off any excess, towel it down and let the toy air dry. Wait until the toy has completed dried before putting the toy back in its case and storing it. In addition over time the Fleshlight can become tacky so you should powder it with cornstarch to retain its silky texture. This isn’t strictly necessary but is highly recommend especially with the Ice color this comes in as the lack of pigment makes it tackier then the colored Fleshlights. Do not use something other then pure cornstarch to powder this as it will likely cloud the material running the clear effect. Lastly, only use water based lubes with this as oil or silicone lubes will cause the Superskin material to degrade. These cleaning and care procedures are the toy’s biggest downside as it a bit annoying to have to do after your orgasm-ed out.  It can also become an issue if privacy and discreetness is a concern as you have to find a place to let your disembowel vagina/rectum air dry.

Pleasure and Use

To start with, the Superskin material is fantastic, soft, silky, pliable and the closest thing to the real deal I’ve tried. I often start by “fingering” the masturbator to apply lube to it and the lovely texture makes it much easier to fantasize I’m fingering a real person and not a toy. This brings me to the next point, lube, you’re going to need a lot of it for this to feel good, too little and the friction will be uncomfortable instead of pleasurable, if your stingy with your lube this may be a con for you. Although not necessary Fleshlight recommends warming up the Fleshlight in some warm water before use, this will help with pleasure and realism. I personally use a warming lube instead.

Let us get to the heart of the matter: How does the STU texture feel? What do the vibrations add to the experience? Let start with the STU texture by itself, no vibrations. The STU is designed to become more intense as you get closer to orgasm, (as opposed to the speed bump, which is a more constant sensation) in that regard it worked well. The sensations started out mild, but as I got closer, it started feeling more and more intense ending in some very intense orgasms. I’m circumcised so I wouldn’t know, but Fleshlight says that uncircumcised men often prefer the STU texture as is not as pronounced so there is less for the foreskin to catch-on; make it easier going in and out.

Moving along to the vibrations. The vibrations aren’t that intense; they are good ,but not spectacular. However they do add to the sensation and also add to the stamina training aspect.  Where the vibrations do work well is that it provides constant stimulation even if you are not thrusting which is good for stamina training. Keep in mind: putting all of the bullets, turning them on and putting them into the case adds to the set-up time making the Vibro function too much of a bother for just a quick jack off. The additional tackiness of the Ice color also plays a factor here; the bullet pockets will tend to stick to themselves and the surrounding area. Also since you have three bullet firing off at once noise will also be a factor with this. You can hear them buzzing away under a sheet but not through a closed door.

Shoes, Mattresses and Sex Furniture, O My!

Besides the obvious method of moving it up in down by hand there are also “hands free” methods of using this or any other Fleshlight including: putting it in a shoe and going at it missionary style, putting it in-between couch cushions or the mattress and the box spring of your bed and screwing it doggy style, etc. There is even a line of sex furniture deigned specifically for use with the Fleshlight. Many of these hands free positions are also good for stamina training, as they better simulate man-on-top positions.

Stamina and Male Multiple Orgasm Training

The STU texture is marketed as a stamina training device so I had to comment on it.⁽⁴⁾ In that regard this work well, as advertised it feels more intense as you approach climax which does a good job of teaching control. However, where it comes really in to play is when I’m using my Kegels to control ejaculation.⁽⁵⁾. Whenever I’m doing this I have to slow down stimulation in order to pull the trick off, this is most true with the Fleshlight STU where even the slightest move can cause me to lose control. Of the 4 Fleshlights⁽⁶⁾ I own controlling ejaculation with this one is the hardest. The Vibro function can also add to the challenge becuse even if I stop thrusting completely I still have to deal with the vibrations. The hands free positions that are possible with the Fleshlight are, as I said above, helpful as well as you have to thrust like you would during intercourse. And heck the Ice color might even help with the stamina training if you’re a visual learner as you can see your yourself thrusting in and out.

It Glows!

Finally yet importantly, how does the Glow look when glowing? Pretty cool, for those that want more whimsical, less realistic designs this is your dream come true. The LEDs illuminate the Glow very well when in the dark. Well enough that if you don’t mind losing 2/3 of the vibrations a single bullet can light it up pretty well, obviously using all three will make the lighting effect more intense of course. Since I ordered three bullets of different colors, I took pics of the Glow with just one bullet in as well as with all three, which you can see below. I really like that I can change the color of this by changing the bullets and I’m tickled by the fact that it allows the Fleshlight to be used as a (really weak) flashlight. Although I’m disappointed that Screaming O only makes bullets in red, blue, pink, and purple; as green and orange would be really cool to use here.

Price and Value

The Glow for all the uniqueness it offers is a good value at $94.95, to compare a standard pink Vibro Fleshlight will cost you $89.95. For only 5 bucks more, the Glow is a great value. It is also a great value considering it would cost over a hundred dollars if you tried to get creative and build one yourself by individually purchasing a Fleshlight Ice, the 3 Glow bullets and the replacement batteries. Hint: Fleshlight offers free shipping for domestic US orders over $100. Given this, the best course of action for many would be to throw in a “filler” to get free shipping. Some filer options available from Fleshlight’s site: a standard vibrating bullet or a 10 pack of replacement batteries both $6.95; some lube; some cheap cock rings; condoms and so on.

Packaging

The Glow will come in a plain cardboard box, inside you will find: the case, an information and care pamphlet, the three Glow bullets individual packaged and the sleeve which will be inside a clear plastic packaging⁽⁷⁾. The sleeve comes pre-powdered so you have to clean it off it before use and the sleeve will also have a long tube in the center that you also have to remove prior to use.

Overall this is an awesome and very unique Fleshlight, Fleshlight says they are only making 1000 and I have one of them so hurry up and get one if you’re interested.  Hopefully, Fleshlight will decide to make this a regular because it is a really cool sex toy. If my dick could talk I’m pretty sure he would say: “I don’t know what this weird multi-colored, vibrating place you keep putting me into is but I like it, I like it a lot!”

I recently purchased a Limited Edition Fleshlight Glow and it came with three of these little Screaming O Glow Bullets, one red, one blue and one purple. Since each one came packaged individually just as if you bought them separately, I decided to do a quick review of the Screaming O Bullet by itself.

Materials

The Screaming O Glow Bullet is made out of hard plastic; which is free of phalahtes and latex; however, you can’t boil them for through sterilization so a barrier is recommend for sharing. Plastic is compatible with all lubes.

Design and Dimensions

These are you really just your standard one button, one speed bullet with the addition of LED lights. At the tip of the bullet there are two LED light which turn on when you turn on the bullet. The plastic is clear version of whichever of the four available colors blue, purple, red, or pink you choose. The twists off cap is better than most bullets however as I don’t have to deal with the annoying “doesn’t turn on cause the cap isn’t screwed on just so” thing that happens with your typical silver bullet of doom. Like most bullets now a days these are waterproof.

Each bullet uses and comes with three LR 44 batteries size watch batteries (which go by many other names). Note the packaging say they use LR 1130 batteries, which are a different battery size however LR 44 are this one’s inside the bullets, the ones every other bullet I have owned uses, and they are also the replacement battery size Screaming O has.

Pleasure and Use

Like I said beside the LEDs these are the same as your standard bullet vibe. So if the vibration from a plain old silver bullet can’t get you off this won’t either; if a standard vibe can get you off then this vibe will too, but it’s not going to be adding anything on that front. Where all the fun of this vibe is going to be is in the light-up LED lights; which means this is a toy to play with when the lights are down, they are going to be useless during the day. So how do these function during the night? Pretty well, they aren’t going to revolutionize your play but they can add a little novelty. It is kind of fun having a glowing light down there instead of pure darkness and there are a few ways you can put this to use. If you have any fantasies involving a rave the application here is obvious. If you have any translucent/clear dildos that accept a bullet vibe in their base, turn it in to a glowing dildo by putting one of these in their base instead. On that note you have to be careful not to shut it off while in use but if you put the bullet into such a dildo backward i.e. button first you can make a light up base for your dildo that way. Have a bullet powered cock ring? Put this in it instead transforming your cock in to a kind of perverted lighthouse. However, the best application for this is the one it came for, illumining a Limited edition Transparent Fleshlight Ice Vibro. What cool is these bullets allow you to change the color of the Fleshlight as you wish. Lastly, while testing them with the Fleshlight I did notice the purple lights were noticeably less intense then the rest.

Packaging

The packaging is your standard cardboard backed plastic packaging. The front has a few bullet points about the product; the back has a blurb about the product and pictures of the bullet in each of it four colors. I have a complaint about the packaging that was mentioned above; they list the wrong battery type on the packaging.

Closing Thoughts

These bullets are nothing special and the novelty will wear out fast but they work as advertised and can add a little spice. I will likely be buying more in the future to replace the ones in my Glow when they die and/or to switch up its colors.

I wanted a banner that said that men could use sex toys as well or at least a couple could. Since a male body is front in center here, it met this requirement.

Moving on this one was nice as it has a couple and it promotes diversity, as the couple is interracial; however the guy was too much in the background for me.

I was close to using this one. The guy is in the corner the screaming face expression drew my eye more to him so it balanced it out and the diversity in body image was lovely but in the end I chose…

This one. The reasons I like is it features both a male and a female, it meets the requirement of a couple enjoying toys as opposed to just a female. The male and female are more or less in equal focus and it proved some diversity since both members are dark skinned.

Banner chosen however, this little moment of decision making, made me think about the lack of ethnic and racial diversity in sexy land. The first thing that popped to my mind was the Fleshlight Girls line of toys. After reading the above you will probably notice something about the Fleshlight Girls, the overall lack of diversity. Where are the black porn star’s replicated lady bits? For that matter that question made me think how many black porn stars I could name. I may or may have not have typed “black porn stars” in to Google to answer that. Thinking about it some more Fleshlight did have at one point a mocha color for their Fleshlights (I have a mocha ultra tight), which they discontinued, making me thinking that dark skinned Fleshlight simply would not sell. Which in turn made me why exactly would not it sell. Is it that we perceived dark skin as less sexually desirable? Is socio-economics a factor are those most likely to buy such a Fleshlight of a lower economic status and thus less likely to have the money to buy? How about culture? Do differences between the sexual beliefs of Caucasian group compared to non- Caucasian groups factor in to all of this. All of the above is the most likely answer of course… now the question that much harder to answer is when will all of that change?

The Tantus Suction Cup is a simple but very useful sex toy accessory. The suction cup fits in the base of any bullet powered vibrator, just take the vibrator out and put the suction cup in the base instead. Design and Dimensions

The suction cup measures 3” in diameter and the accessory has a total height of 3”. The post you will place the your toy of choice on is a little under two inches and is 5/8 of an inch in diameter the same as a stranded bullet vibe for obvious reasons. The post has two rings on its length that help keep the suction cup firmly in the base of the toy your using it with.

Although it is designed by Tantus, this accessory is compatible with any vibrator that uses a bullet in its base. Some examples by other companies: The Mistress, Smooth Operator and Astro vibes by Vixen Creations; The Perk, Hottie and Happy Valley Realistic vibes by Happy Valley, etc. Lastly, if your handy (which I am not) you can hollow out the base of other dildos in order to make them compatible with the suction cup.

Materials: Cleaning and Safety Concerns

Just like the Tantus toys, it is design to go with this suction cup is made of 100% pure silicone. Pure silicone is nonporous, hypoallergenic, and phthalates and latex free. Pure silicone is easy to clean with hot soap and water or a toy cleaning solution.  You can also sterilize the suction cup by cleaning it with a 10% bleach solutions, boiling it or giving it a spin in your dishwasher top rack, no soap. Although the ability to sterilizing is not as big of a deal here as this accessory is going inside of another toy as opposed to inside of you, there no harm done in using a sterilizing method if sharing, “better safe, than sorry”. Silicone can have a possibly damaging boding reaction with silicone lubricants. While you are not going to be placing any lubricant directly on the suction cup some might still drip on to it, I would again be better safe the sorry and only use water based lubricants when playing with this toy if you don’t want to risk damaging it (or do a test patch on it.). Lastly, although it may seem obvious don’t confuse the material and safety rating of the suction cup with the material and safety rating of the toy you’re using it on, would not want to accidentally share something unsafe.

Pleasure and Use

I currently own five suction cup compatible toys all from Tantus: The Rascal, The O2 Rascal, The Delta, the Techno, and the P-spot vibrating plug (some other compatible Tantus products I don’t own include the Goddess, Echo, G-spot, and O2 Niagara vibrators). Insertion of the the suction cup was easy, simply push the suction cup where the bullet vibe would go and it pops in with ease, although insertion was easier for some than it was for others. Insertion was easiest with the Techno and the O2 Rascal while the Delta and the standard Rascal had a bit snugger fit and took a bit more effort; I would not call any of them difficult to insert the suction cup into however. Removal is easy as well just pull with a bit of force and the suction cup pops out. To get the suction cup to stick just push it on to your desired surface with a bit of forces, to remove just pull on the lip of the suction cup to break the suction.

I tested the suction cup on wide variety of surfaces (see the photo slide-show further down in the review); however most of my testing focused on four surfaces: the shower stall, the bathroom counter, a hardcover textbook (as I stated in my Silk dildo review I put the dildo on it, then put the book +dildo on my bed and ride away) and my bedroom wall. For each of these four I surfaces, I tested each of the toys by giving them both a through “handjob” (tugging on it vigorously) and through “blowjob” (sucking on it with my mouth) to test how strong the suction is. In all cases the suction cup performed excellently. It took a lot of effort to be able to separate the base from the surface or the toy from the suction cup; more then you are likely to produce during normal use.

After I finished the “tug and suck” tests it was time to test the toy anally I only tested it with the Rascal , the Rascal O2 and the Techno (the other two wouldn’t have been practical to use anyway )and I only tested it on my shower stall, my bedroom wall and on a hardcover text book. Again, the suction cup was able to firmly stick to the desired surface while in use. Lastly, I just left the suction cup on my bedroom door with the Rascal O2 in it for a little over an hour and a half to see if it would fall from the force of gravity alone, it didn’t. Note: however that the heaviest of the toy I’ve test is the  Rascal which is⁽¹⁾ seven and half ounces. There are toys that appear heavier then the Rascal that are compatible with this, such as the Tantus Goliath, that additional weight may affect the suction cup’s performance. If and when I got any heaver toys I’ll post the results as a follow up.

Being able to stick this toy to so many different surfaces opens up many fun possibilities, let’s go over some of them. Firstly, you can stick the toy to some horizontal surface like a chair, exercise ball, counter top, etc. and  thoen ride the hell out of your favorite bullet powered vibrator turned suction cup dildo. Secondly, you can stick it to a vertical surface like a wall or shower stall. Depending on how high you place it and how you position yourself, you can push yourself on to the dildo in standing position or bent over in to more of doggie position. You can also suck on it to stimulate oral (in any position).

Beyond horizontal versus vertical, what you specifically place the suction cup on can add a lot of fun to the experience. One thing I have done with this is stick it to a mirror and then sucked on it; allowing me to see my own face as I do it. You can also stick the suction cup to the wall opposite a mirror and watch yourself ride the thing, or stick it to a mirror and look back over your solder to be  to see your own face as you ride your now suction cup dildo. All hot in my opinion. If you get more than one suction cup you can stick dildos to one or more surfaces and play out some group fantasies. For example, If you’re using this in a narrow space  like a shower stall you can use two suction cups to stick two dildos: one for you to be able to suck on (providing suction to something that has suction O_0) and one on the opposite side to penetrate yourself with. There is one down side to this suction cup, since silicone is flexible the toys do tend to droop down when in use with this. This downward curve may be aesthetically unappealing to some but more importantly, if the toy slips out during use it makes it harder to reinsert as it will droop downward instead of standing firmly in place. For this reason, I would recommend using this with longer toys since there is less chance of it slipping out, especially if you are using this on the vertical surface as the angle which your penetrating it from might result in you not being able to fully go down to the base. I would also recommend using it on firm toy without much flexibility, for example, it is hard to ride the Tantus Techno because its flexibility causes it to bend when you move down on it.

Note: Dildos in the Suction Cup tend to droop a bit.

Packaging and Storage

The toy came in a clear plastic clam-shell packaging. The two halves of the packaging snap apart easily (no risk of hurting yourself fumbling with scissors ). The two halves can be snapped back together so you could store the toy in the packaging again if you wanted to, although I don’t find it very good for storage purposes. Silicone doesn’t have any special storage requirements, although in easily attracts lint, dust and hair so you may want to store it a baggie or something for that reason.

Closing Thoughts

There is not much more to say the Tantus Suction cup works as advertised and is a must have for anyone, who has compatible toys and is looking for a new ways to play with some of their old favorites.
