Nigeria Entertainer And Activist , Charles Op u ta (Charly Boy) Is Now Born Again.

In a scenario which could only have been divinely orchestrated, the renowned unconventional musician, entertainer, social activist, and leader of the ‘Our mumu don do’ movement, Charly Boy, is gloriously led to Christ by
the highly esteemed Regional Pastor, Christ Embassy Abuja, Reverend Tom Amenkhienan.

Having been invited to church several weeks earlier by a dear sister who met and engaged him on social media, Charly Boy promised that he will come to church. With persistent reminders and follow up, on Sunday, 25th February, he arrived Abuja from a journey and came straight to church from the airport with twelve members of his activist group.

He returned for an exclusive meeting with Reverend Tom on Tuesday 27th February, in the company of some members of his group. Overwhelmed by the expression of Christ's love, he appreciated our man of God, Reverend Dr. Chris Oyakhilome for his passion for Youth Development and Nation Building, as Reverend Tom highlighted the impact of the InnerCity Mission, Future Africa Leaders' Foundation, Campus Ministry, Global Youth Leaders' Forum and ReachOut Nigeria Campaign.

As an activist, Charly Boy constantly demands social and political changes, and accountability in governance in Nigeria. He identifies with, and advocates for the rights of the youth and the 'common man' in his usual unconventional style. He is indeed deeply the about this cause and spoke of it with tears in his eyes, hence his joy when he discovered the passion of our man of God, Pastor Chris for the youth, and the lasting impact being made. It opened his eyes to new and more effective ways to channel his passion.

Reverend Tom then ministered to him privately, and he gloriously accepted Christ and was born again. In his new found joy, he requested that Reverend Tom also prays for his group members. He beamed with smiles as Reverend Tom announced to them, 'CHARLY BOY IS BORN AGAIN!’ The news was received with joy and excitement, and Reverend Tom also went ahead to lead members of his group to Christ. He also gave them our ministry materials, and presented Charly Boy with a LoveWorld Plus decoder for his home.

What a glaring sign that our prayers have been answered! The Lord is doing great wonders in our midst. There is no limit to the length of the Master's love...it can reach the farthest soul, even those perceived as 'unreachable'. It is certainly the month of CHANGE! Glory to God!

1. The word of God to us this year guarantees supernatural productivity (10 years in 1). Pray for all our brethren to consciously open their hearts to this reality
in every field of their endeavour, causing them to stand out, being ten times better than all competition. In this nation, our brethren stand out in wisdom, productivity, effectiveness; they are coming into positions of greater authority and influence, and nothing can be withheld from them. We are entering into houses we didn't build, being handed businesses we didn't start because the wisdom of God is seem in us. GENESIS 41:39-40 - And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
DANIEL 6:3 - Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

2. Pray concerning the mining and solid minerals sector of our economy; pray against the covert exploitation of these resources for the benefit of a few. We compel changes in that sector by our prayers today, declaring proper regulation and tracking of these vast economic resources for our nation; declare also that all individuals and government officials who wickedly connive to plunder these public resources, are exposed and brought to book by well-meaning leaders, and there is transparency in that sector. PROVERBS 29:24 (GNT) – A thief’s partner is his own worst enemy. He will be punished if he tells the truth in court, and God will curse him if he doesn’t.
ZECHARIAH 5:4 – The Lord Almight says that He will send His curse out , and it will enter the house of every thief…it will remain in their houses and leave them in ruins.

Pray for Christian Governors and Government Officials who may be facing mounting pressures because of their faith, that they be strengthened in their spirits to stand firm and demonstrate even greater and obvious commitment to the Lord in their states, ministries, departments and agencies, as the only way to silence the adversary. They will not cower or compromise but will truly committed their hearts more to the Lord. They will not be careful to answer in the matter of their faith, and the Lord will protect and preserve them as they speak for him. DANIEL 3:16 - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
Daniel 6:10 (NIV) Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

4. Pray concerning the upcoming elections; pray against violence, intimidation of voters and corruption in the process. Declare that voters’ choices would not be tainted by sentiments, nepotism or tribalism, but candidates will be voted based on proven records and merit for the good of the nation and her people. EXODUS 18:21 “Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”

Pray that youths in our nation will refuse to be used as instruments of wickedness and violence, rather they direct their energies towards nation building, investing in themselves for the future of their dreams. Pray also for a harvest of souls among the young people, declaring that their hearts are open and yielded to the gospel in their quest to know God’s purpose and plans for their lives. PROVERBS 1:10 - My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. ECCLESIASTES 12:1 – Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh,

Christ Jesus The Living Bread - Pastor Chris

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

In John 6:32 - 33, in response to the Jews, Jesus said, “…Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.” Then in the forty-ninth verse, He buttressed this point: “Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” Here, He was talking about Himself - the Living Bread.

The Word of God is the bread which came down from heaven. Jesus explained to His disciples that the bread He was talking about was Himself: “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:51). Then the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:17 reveals that “For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.”

If we’re one bread with Him, it then means we have the same life, because we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23), just as He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Colossians 1:18 says, “And he (Christ) is the head of the body, the church….” The head and the body share the same life. If we share His life, then we also share His health, prosperity, strength and glory.

No wonder we’re called associates of the God-kind; that’s what we read in our opening verse. 1 John 4:17 says, “…as he is, so are we in this world.” Thus, we must walk as He walked: in glory, righteousness, strength, dominion, and everlasting triumph, for we’re sharers of His life - partakers of that one living bread - the Lord from heaven. Hallelujah!

Confession

I’m an associate of the God-kind, born of the Word and Spirit of the Lord. I have a divine origin; therefore, I live above this world, and above circumstances. I’m indomitable, reigning in life by Jesus Christ, whose greatness and glory works in me mightily. Hallelujah!

given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that
there was none like thee before thee,
neither after thee
shall any arise like unto thee*_ (1 Kings 3:12).

Our God is awesome. He’s so great and mighty. His
Word is everlasting, and ever-sure, producing in
you, and for you, whatever message it carries. When He
speaks, whatever He says becomes. This is why it’s such a
blessing to hear God; to receive His Word. What He says is,
is. His Word to you at any time in your life, regarding any
situation, is all you need.

For example, the Bible says, the LORD appeared to
Solomon in a dream by night and gave Solomon a blank
cheque. He asked him, _“What do you want?”_ Solomon asked
for wisdom and understanding (1 Kings 3:8-9). Now, God
didn’t send an angel from heaven to open Solomon’s brain
and deposit wisdom inside. He didn’t give Solomon
something to eat or drink, so he may become wise. All He
said was, _“Solomon, you have it!”_

That’s what we read in our opening verse. The moment
God spoke those words, Solomon became what God said.
O, the blessedness of hearing God! He did the same with
Abraham, who at the time was still called “Abram.” God said,
*“Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy
name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I
made thee”* (Genesis 17:5).

Abraham had no children, because his wife was barren,
but God said, *“I have made you a father of many nations.”*
God didn’t say, “I will make you a father of many nations;” no.
He said, *“Your name is now Abraham, because I have made you a father of many.”* When did God make him the father of
many nations? It happened the instant He spoke His Word to
him and changed his name!

Read Romans 4:19-20: when he began to confess what
God said about him, Sarah, his wife, received strength to
conceive (Hebrews 11:11). That’s how it works: when God
says it, you become it, the moment you respond by affirming
the same thing.

1. Thank the Lord for our 21 Days Prayer and Fasting Program for this nation, Nigeria. Thank Him for what He has determined to do in Nigeria,
and for guiding us to align ourselves with His divine purpose. Thank Him also for the divine resistance He has put in place in this nation through the years, against men, institutions, organizations and societies that have tried to sway Nigeria away from God’s plan and pull the nation from under the influence of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yet now the Lord resists them, and they will never succeed. Psalms 2:2-4 - The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed…He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

2. Pray for Christians in government in this nation; declare that they are bold and courageous to remain uncompromisingly righteous in spite of pressure to conform, an that their integrity will bring them glory. Pray that they would use their positions and authority to favour God’s righteous cause, help the church and foster the spread of the gospel in our Nation. Esther 4:13–14 MSG: “Don’t think that just because you live in the king’s house you’re the one Jew who will get out of this alive. If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this.”

3. Pray for teachers in nursery and primary schools all over Nigeria; that they will transmit knowledge with love and purpose, exercising patience and kindness in teaching the children and setting for them a good educational foundation. Come against the influence of satan in our schools, and declare that true Christian teachers are taking advantage of their presence in these schools to boldly spread the influence of Christ to future generations, sowing seeds of the gospel into the children in their care. 2Timothy 3:15 – And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

4. Declare that the government at all levels in this nation are only permitted to enact laws that foster peace and a conductive atmosphere for the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in their respective areas of jurisdiction, and any intended obnoxious laws will not see the light of day. Numbers 23:23 - Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel:

Pray for the lost and unsaved in our country, declaring open channels for the gospel to reach and impact them, through missionary activities, the internet, our ministry materials in all available formats, television ministry etc. Declare that every resistance is broken, they receive the truth with understanding, and embrace the Word of God for their salvation. 2Corinthians 4:3-4 – But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

6. Pray for Nigeria, and for the city and state where you live, work or do business. Declare that the good of the land is yours; the government of the day is functioning for your good; the laws and policies favour you and as you have sown the seeds of the gospel there you are reaping the good of the land. Jeremiah 29:7 - And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

Pastor Chris - Chosen To Know His Will

_*And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One,
and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth (Acts 22:14).*_

The unregenerate man can’t discern or walk in the will of God; God’s will and ways of doing things are mysterious to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, _*“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”*_ But this isn’t so for you that are born again. Jesus said it’s given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God (Mark 4:11, Luke 8:10). You’re chosen to know God’s will. It’s our heritage in Christ.

This means there shouldn’t be doubts or uncertainties in your life; you can discern, and walk in God’s perfect will at all times. Some Christians have been in situations where they didn’t know God’s will; they were trying to make a decision and didn’t know what to do. No! That shouldn’t be your experience.

In Colossians 1:9, we read something instructive. The Christians in Colosse, at the time of Paul’s epistle, were still babies in Christ. So, Paul and Timothy prayed for them to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will: _*“For this cause we also…do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”*_ They couldn’t have been praying for the Colossian Christians to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will if they themselves hadn’t been filled with the knowledge of His will.

It’s part of the reasons we emphasize meditating on the Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. God and His Word are one, and His Word is His will expressed. More so, the Word of God is the wisdom of God, and wisdom is walking in the will of God. Get to know the Word, and you’ll never walk in confusion.

Ephesians 1:9 tells us that God has made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He had purposed in Himself. Even now, say to yourself, “I’m chosen to know God’s will. I have insight into mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom.” Hallelujah!

As I meditate on the Word, and fellowship with the Spirit, your will is unveiled to my spirit; my spirit is enlightened, and I have insight into mysteries and secrets. 21 Days Prayer And Fasting Day 3 Prayer Point

1. Pray for the best will, desire and boldness in the hearts of our leaders to do what is right and refuse to yield to corruption and negative influences; that peace may prevail in this nation and the gospel may have free course.
Declare that leaders who persist in the exalting and pursuing their personal or sectorial agendas to the detriment of the nation would suddenly be unseated and have no part in the glorious future of our great nation. Isaiah 32:1 – Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. Job 18:5, 8, 17 - Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine…For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare…His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street

. 2. Pray for the young people in our nation, that they are guided into God’s perfect will for their lives, protected from compromising and ungodly influences; declare that Christian youths are standing out as leaders in their generation with boldness, and their dreams and visions borne out of the Word of God will come to fruition as they set forth examples of godly living. Psalms 144:12 - That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

3. Declare that our security apparatus around the nation are strengthened to contain and subdue all forces of violence and destruction. Pray for all security personnel, the officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force, the Armed Forces, to be diligent and committed to their work, and declare that they are helped by the Lord to keep the peace and preserve the integrity and sovereignty of the nation. Declare also that all those instigating or sponsoring violence and terrorism are exposed and their wicked ways are thwarted. Isaiah 60:18 - Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.

4. Prophesy significant positive changes in the economy of this nation; declare that our economy is conducive for businesses and investments to thrive, and that our leaders are yielded to God’s wisdom in steering the nation on the path of sustained economic progress. We reject non-functional economic policies and greedy economic advisers, and declare that all who sit over the nation’s economy will only be people of unselfish integrity, with genuine commitment to the betterment of the nation and her people. 2 Kings 7:1 - Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren and people who have been genuinely influenced by, and boldly identify with our ministry and message, are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in this nation to chart a new course and set new standards and records by the wisdom of God. I affirm that Christ is alive in me; He is my life, my strength, my wisdom and my righteousness.
All through 2018 and beyond, I am energized on the inside for the supernatural. Daily, I think and talk differently because the Word of God has renewed my thinking and given me the mindset of the righteous. Hallelujah!

I've been ushered into a life of unlimited possibilities, victories, and dominion by the wisdom of God. There's no regret or uncertainty in my path because I live in, and by, the Word of God! Some Christians refer to eternal life as though it’s still a promise from God; something to be experienced in the sweet-by-and-by. Yes, it was a promise before the world began, but it has now been fulfilled. God’s plan was to make eternal life available to men through the preaching of the Gospel. When you hear the Gospel, you’re given the opportunity to believe, and receive eternal life into your spirit.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you believe in Jesus, you have eternal life. Jesus said in John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” John tells us in his epistle, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:11-12).

Did you notice that it doesn’t say, “God shall give to us eternal life”? Rather, it says, “God hath (past tense) given to us eternal life.” Eternal life is the present-hour possession of the one who has Jesus: “…this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life.” You have eternal life NOW. What’s eternal life?

For many, it means the life that goes on and on forever; but that’s only a part of it. Eternal life is the superior life of God; the God-life. It’s the essence of divinity. It’s translated from the Greek word “Zoë.” This life in you makes you superior to Satan, impregnable to sickness and disease; you become secure and unfailing. It’s the supernatural life; it’s the life and nature of God, and it supplanted your human life when you were born again. Glory to God!

Prayer

Blessed Father, I thank you for eternal life is in my spirit. I’m not ordinary; divinity is at work in me. The divine life surges through my being! As the Father has life in Himself, so do I, because I’m an associate of the God-kind; as Jesus is, so am I. Blessed be God!

Habakkuk 2:14 - For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

4. Our Man of God Pastor Chris has said ‘no government can eradicate crime, except the preaching of the gospel’. We pray for increase in gospel activities especially through our multifaceted ministry departments; we declare that evil is completely overturned, as sinners pour through these and many other avenues into the Kingdom of God.

Declare that the government of the day will promote human rights and dignity, peace and a conducive atmosphere for the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in every state of this nation. Kcee who is also known as Limpopo King and KC was born on August 18 in Ajegunle, Lagos. Kcee’s father used to be a DJ.
Kcee attended Tolu primary school, Ajegunle; Central High school, Isolo; and University of Nsukka (UNN) where he got a Theatre Arts degree.

He planned to professional footballer as he played for Julius Berger and Puma football clubs locally. However, after Kcee won the Star Quest talent show in 2002, he became famous. He won alongside Precious John, their duo was called KC Presh until they split after 12 years together.

The first payment he earned from music performance was N20,000. After the split, the singer and his elder brother, Emeka Okonkwo (also known as E-money) became owners of Five Star Music. Mr Chinedu Nwuke, who is 52 year old civil engineer. And his wife, a pharmacist, 50, both raised four children – 21, 19, 16 and 13.

The couple met in 1993, and married in 1995. And raised their four children to the best of their abilities with all the resources at their disposal… Until October 2017.

That’s when he discovered that all four are not his biological children! After DNA tests at HumGene Ltd in Lagos proved that he’s not in anyway related to the children that meant the world to him.

Here’s the distraught father’s narration of how his world collapsed…

This is my story:

On the 20th of September 2017, my 3rd child who happens to be a female was critically ill in the hospital and the doctor informed us that she needs an urgent blood transfusion.

My wife and I were in the hospital and we both decided to have our blood tested in other to know who has the same blood group with our daughter. But to our surprise when the result came out, we were informed that none of us has the same blood group with our daughter. We had to find a way out as soon as possible.

Fortunately for us, our first son came and he happened to be a match. I was innocent about the whole thing because I didn’t know the implication of a child not matching either of the parent’s blood group. After the whole thing was taken care of, the doctor called me in privately to ask if I was the real father of my own daughter. At first, I was furious but I calmed down and answered him by saying, “Of course, why would you be asking me such question?”

He went ahead to explain how a child can have either the mother’s or father’s blood group. I was confused and I asked him what he was trying to tell me. And he said it’s either I’m not the father of the child or my wife is not the mother because one of us is supposed to match. But since none is a match there is a problem. I didn’t take it seriously because it was sounding odd to me. When I informed my wife about it, her answer was, “Don’t mind that stupid doctor.”

After 3 days, our daughter was discharged from the hospital. My mind was no longer at rest because I didn’t know what to do. I went back to the doctor and asked for advice on what I should do. He told me that if I wanted to be sure of everything, I should have a paternity test done on my daughter. When he mentioned that to me, I almost collapsed because I know what that means. It was too much for me to handle. But I had to be a man and face whatever is about to happen. I asked him if I should do the same thing for the remaining 3. He told me that will be a good idea if I can afford it.

I decided to take the bold step even though it was not easy. I asked him if he has an idea of where I can carry out the test here in Lagos and the cost. He advised me of 2 places and their prices. Coincidentally, a friend of mine told me that he saw an advert on Facebook about a company known as HumGene Limited, that they offer the cheapest DNA Paternity test in Nigeria. I quickly called the number they put on the advert and I spoke with the CEO of the company just to confirm if it’s actually true. She was nice and helpful and booked an appointment for me to come in with my 4 children in order to take samples from us. I asked her how accurate the result can be, and she said 99.99% if am the father and 0% if am not the father.

When we all arrived at her office, she told me to come in alone. She asked me for my story and if I was ready for this because the result could be either way and especially 4 children involved, the eldest is 21 years old. At first, I was scared and she asked me if I wanted to take time to think about it before making the decision. I was surprised and asked her if she doesn’t want money. She smiled and answered me by saying: “ Sir, it’s not just all about the money, I think of my clients’ psychological well being first.”

I had to be a man and I told her I was ready. I asked her when the result will be ready and she said 5 working days because she is yet to start the analysis in Nigeria. So, for now, she sends the samples to her partner company in Canada.

The waiting period seemed like a hundred years to me. When the results came in, she called me to come in for them. I was scared but at the same time, I wanted to know the truth. When I got to her office, counselling began even before giving me the results, I just knew the worst has happened but I didn’t expect it to be all my children that I have laboured for all my life, giving them the best in life. But unfortunately for me when I opened the results all the 4 children were not mine. 3 sons and 1 daughter. I couldn’t hold it as a man, I broke down in tears.

At first, I taught I was dreaming and waiting to wake up from sleep. The trauma was too much for me.

When I got home, I called my wife to the bedroom immediately and gave her the results. She denied everything. I wanted to believe her to make myself happy. I went ahead to call the CEO of HumGene Limited to ask her if she was sure about the result. I spoke with her with an angry tone, but she was calm and told me she is very sure and referred me to other places I can try doing another test. She informed me that although the prices are higher.

I didn’t know what to do and I went to the doctor that advised me to go for the paternity test. When he saw the results, he told me this can’t be a mistake because DNA does not lie and that the 22 loci region is the highest in the Paternity test. I felt more convinced and went back home. I told my wife that if she does not tell me the truth I will go ahead to our church pastor and show them the result. After hearing me say that, she broke down into tears and confession started.

She had all my supposed to be children for the same man. That was why our son had same blood group with the sister. She has refused to tell me the man and the reason why she did what she did.

We are yet to tell the children and our family members. I’m in great shock and don’t know where to start from.

The CEO of HumGene Limited has been of great help taking her time to counsel me anytime I needed that. I need advise. Please, what should I do? Men out there you need to be vigilant.

Were you always travelling when the children were conceived?

I was travelling a lot, but the maximum time I spend out of the house is 2 weeks. I do not keep track of when my wife gets pregnant.

Do you know the father of your ‘children’?

No, my wife is holding on to that.

Can you have babies?

I have never doubted that. So, I didn’t have any reason to check if I’m medically okay to have children.But I do not feel any abnormality in himself. I will go for a test to check, but I’m not in the right state of mind now.

What do you do? And your wife?

I’m a Civil Engineer, my wife is a pharmacist.

Why are you still living with her?

I am no longer living in the house now, I’m staying in the hotel.

When were the tests done?

Samples were submitted on the 3rd of October 2017 and results received on the 10th of October 2017.

What did you tell the children when the tests were done?

We told them they were going for a general checkup for genetic testing since HumGene Limited offers the services for that.

What kind of samples were taken?

Buccal Swabs.

Were the children not curious?

Not at all. We didn’t give them any reason to be curious.

Who have you told about the result?

Only my wife and the Doctor that suggested the test.

What’s your wife saying?

Just crying as usual and refused to tell me the reason behind her actions, I moved out the next day because I don’t want to be in the same house with her. The more I see her, the angrier I get, and I don’t want it to lead to something I will regret.

Are you not scared for your life?

I’m not, but this question is now making me think if I should be scared, I can’t think straight right now.

What do you want to do now?

To be honest with you, I’m yet to come to a decision. It’s very difficult. I have worked so hard to give the children the best anyone can imagine giving to their children.

How much did the tests cost?

For myself and one child, it was ₦60,000.00 and an extra child was ₦40,000. In total, I paid ₦180,000 for myself and the 4 children.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday warned that his government would no longer tolerate wanton killings and kidnapping by hoodlums.

Buhari also vowed that those involved in the murder of innocent persons would be made to face the wrath of the law.

He explained that the rise in the level of violent crimes across Nigeria was having a negative impact on national development. The President, who spoke in Port Harcourt while declaring open the 9th General Assembly of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, said he was saddened by the killings in Nigeria.

Represented by the Minister of Interior, Abduraham Dambazau, the President said, “I am very worried and saddened about the persistent killings and kidnappings happening in our country, especially the wastage of innocent lives in different parts of the country by whatever means it is done, particularly in Benue State. I have therefore directed that no effort should be spared in identifying and bringing to justice all those that are carrying out the acts.

I have therefore directed the Chief of Army Staff to relocate to the North East to ensure that the activities of Boko Haram are stopped.

His Word Is The Answer - Pastor Chris

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:17-20).

The Word of God is the power of God. That power produces healing and health for the one who’s sick. If you were in a church service for example, sitting under the ministry or influence of the Word, and you desired healing for your body, you don’t need to wait for any special moment of prayer. There’s healing for you in the Word. The healing begins the instant you open your heart to receive the Word.

Read our theme scripture again; it gives the horrid picture of those who were in trouble. But then, we read something very striking and comforting in the penultimate verse. It says, they “...cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.” How exactly did the Lord save them? He sent His Word, and healed them! His answer to their pain and distress was His Word! That’s His answer to whatever trouble anyone is facing—His Word!

It makes no difference what the trouble is, if you’d take a hold of God’s Word, there’ll be a change. It works for sickness, disease, and infirmities, as it works for bankruptcy, failure at school, family problems, etc. We didn’t read in our theme scripture that God sent prayer to heal them; so, it wasn’t about prayer.

Maybe you’re going through some difficulties right now in your body; receive the Word of God into your spirit. Declare, “The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead, lives in me, and has given life to my physical body. I’m vitalized through and through by the Holy Spirit who lives in me.”

Give attention to God’s Word, and your healing will be as sure as the Word is sure. Proverbs 4:22 (MSG) says, “Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they’re bursting with health.”

PRAYER
Dear Father, I’ve received your Word into my spirit today, and I’m cleansed and vitalized through and through, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Every fibre of my being is inundated with divine life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
